Chapter 2: Administrative Bodies
2.1 SUMMARY OF AUTHORITY The Town bodies and officials listed below, without limitation upon such authority as each may possess by law, have responsibility for implementing and administering this Ordinance in the manner described herein.
2.2 TOWN COUNCIL The Town Council hereby reserves to itself the following powers and duties in connection with the implementation of this Ordinance: A. To initiate amendments to the text of this Ordinance and to the Zoning Maps pursuant to the procedures and standards for amendments set forth in Chapter 11 and Indiana law. B. To adopt, reject, or amend the text of this Ordinance and the Zoning Maps pursuant to the procedures and standards for amendments set forth in Chapter 11 and Indiana law. C. To adopt, reject, or amend a Planned Unit Development Ordinance pursuant to the procedures and standards for amendments set forth in Chapter 6 and Indiana law. D. To take such other actions not delegated to other bodies which may be desirable and necessary to implement the provisions of this Ordinance.
2.3 PLAN COMMISSION A. ESTABLISHMENT There is established the Advisory Plan Commission, to be known as the Plan Commission of the Town of Pittsboro. The Plan Commission shall be a continuation of the present Plan Commission established under planning law, Indiana Code 36-7-4-200 et seq., as added by Act 1981, Pub. L. 309, Sec. 23.
