POWERS AND DUTIES The Technical Review Committee has the following powers and duties in connection with the implementation of this ordinance: 1. To review and evaluate applications for variances and special exceptions and make recommendations to the Board of Zoning Appeals pursuant to the procedures and standards set forth in Chapter 11, to review and evaluate applications for Planned Unit Developments pursuant to the procedures and standards set forth in Chapter 6, and to review and evaluate applications for waivers of subdivision control regulations and make recommendations to the Plan Commission pursuant to the standards and procedures set forth in Chapters 9 and 10. The Committee shall limit its attention and recommendations to the design and construction aspects of the proposed development or subdivision with emphasis placed on public improvements, utilities, drainage, landscaping, parking, and other development standards. Projects shall be reviewed for compliance to this Ordinance and compatibility with the Comprehensive Plan. 2. To review and evaluate site plans and make recommendations to the Plan Commission or Board of Zoning Appeals as appropriate pursuant to the procedures and standards for site plans set forth in Chapter 11. 3. The Technical Review Committee shall have the authority to request that a docket be continued or tabled by the Plan Commission until the Committee has reviewed revised plans submitted by the petitioner(s). D. COMMITTEE MEETINGS Because the Technical Review Committee is strictly a committee and does not have the authority to take any official action, the Committee shall not be bound to holding public meetings. The Committee shall meet at least ten (10) days prior to a meeting of the Plan Commission at which a subdivision plat or other site development plans are to be heard, or to a meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals at which a variance or special exception is to be heard.
