Tips for the overwhelmed empath

There is so much dense energy in the world right now. People are experiencing a range of feelings that are anywhere from sadness and despair, confusion, anger and everything in between. For the empath, this can be a really difficult time feeling the emotions from others and the collective.

This is a crucial time to remind the empaths to take extra special care of themselves.

Below are some tips you can start to integrate into your daily routine. It is essential what and who you expose yourself to and for how long. You need to keep your energy clear so you can be clear about what is yours and what it is of someone else’s you are feeling. You then need to be able to be in a strong place to allow the energy of this psychic information to flow through you, rather than it coming in and taking hold of you.

• Unplug – when it is all too much it is important for you more than anyone to turn off the TV and social media. You can not take on too much of that energy without taking any of it in. Learn when you need to step back for a day or so.

• Rest and Sleep – if you are feeling drained, tired or irritable, go to bed! Surrender and let go. Play some rain music; make your room dark, and diffuse some oils. You need to heal and relax in the spirit realm. Go to sleep!

• Ground – you need to get outside. Take your shoes off and just stand there on the grass; take some deep breaths, look at the sky or the trees and just stand there for 10 or more minutes (it IS powerful, you will see).

• Move – some of you are going to have to burn that energy off through movement. It’s the only way. If you have been craving more food you need to use that energy wisely and rather than stuffing, you need to release it; go for a walk, hit the gym or do some kind of movement.

• Slow Down – some of you are moving like bats out of hell at the moment. We can feel the time speeding up; the energies of the Great Awakening are different and we are experiencing the rise in frequency as a quickening. It can overwhelm you. You need to slow down and allow the energies to integrate on all levels. It might seem like you won’t get things done, but in the long run it will be worth it. Just take it back a gear for now.

• Meditate or Read – If you can sit in meditation, do it regularly. Not everyone is a meditator; especially if you have been running at a million miles an hour or in complete overwhelm for a while. You will have to work your way towards that stillness. Don’t get on social media or TV; pick up a book you have always wanted to read and let it inspire you instead. Read!

• Gratitude – don’t underestimate the power of gratitude. Be thankful that you are here to witness and be part of this incredible time of transition in humanity. Work on changing your perspective with things that are really getting to you.

• Look for Signs from Spirit – they are all around us at the moment. Huge angelic presence like I have never felt before, and many ancient ancestors have arrived. It is very humbling. They are trying to reach you; look for signs whilst you and they adjust how you tune in to their frequency.

• Essential Oils – I love them. They are so powerful. Find some and have them diffusing all around you to keep you calm and energetically protected.

• Be Mindful – stay in the present moment – don’t go too far into the future; let go of the past. Stay where you are. This is where you need to keep yourself balanced and clear. Be in the moment; each and every moment.

There is still so much work many empaths need to do to get control of their gift. Victimhood will not serve you and others. You need to take control and move beyond that now. Your gifts are needed now and as we move into the future. People need experts in feelings. People who really get them because they feel them, and someone to guide them in how to move the feelings through them. You need to master this first then you can serve others.
