Born to do the work I do – Sarah Louise

Interview and Article MICHELLE R PRICE

Spiritual practitioners, like the rest of us, are having to adapt to the changes we have been seeing since the emergence of COVID-19 in 2020. Pivoting is something that Transformational Coach and Lightworker, Sarah Louise, has learnt to be comfortable with.

Sarah Louise has been hosting in-person events for years but has since been forced to move a majority of her work online.

She describes herself as a Lightworker but accepts that some of us don’t really understand the meaning of that term. To answer that question she said, “I believe that I am here to shine the light for people in… a time of complete chaos and evolution and great change,” adding, “I help people become more aware, more connected and to tap into themselves.”

Sarah Louise also helps people detach from their past saying, “I believe everyone is here to have an incredible experience, yet our conditioning and our programming has limited us in lots of ways of who we are, who we could be, who we should be.” An important part of the work she does is to reconnect people with their intuition or inner guidance system.

Sarah Louise considers her whole life to have been a bit of a ‘workshop’, preparing her for the work she now does. She admits she has been through many traumatic experiences in her life so she can teach others that there is a way out and there is a ‘gift’ at the end of each struggle.

She believes she was, “Born into this life to do the work that I do and every… step I’ve taken, I’ve had to realise and to learn lots of lessons so that I can help people.”

Sarah Louise feels like she has always done this work, taking Reiki courses from the age of 15 and reading Tarot Cards. But she also admits she didn’t grow up in the most stable environment and was exposed to alcoholism and addiction and general chaos. Sarah Louise said she wouldn’t change any of her darkest moments, “Because that’s what’s given me the greatest light.”

Sarah Louise also leads meditations, saying the idea is to clear and quiet and soften the mind. On her live events, she said that as they got bigger, the energy in the room got bigger with everyone focusing on the same intention. She admits these aren’t easy times we are experiencing with lockdowns and home schooling presenting ongoing challenges.

Importantly, Sarah Louise said it is important to trust your own intuition and connection, saying she feels she has a clear connection and truly trusts her guides and the energy flows.

In Sarah Louise’s online meditation, she talks to participants about the energy at the time, she hands out homework and they meet again in a fortnight to see how the energy has shifted. And she is seeing huge transformations in people who have been taking part in her online meditations, “Everybody’s story’s so different but the feeling’s the same.”
