Dear Parents and Caregivers, I have had the real pleasure of showing prospective parents around the school in the afternoons and the Woollahra Campus is a hive of activity. On Wednesday afternoon this week the Debating Teams took up most of the classrooms spilling out onto the rooftop, all engaged and preparing arguments. The Junior Drama Company was rehearsing for their upcoming play. There was basketball practice, the Senior Jazz Band were rehearsing in the Music Terrace and there were a number of students getting tutorials from their teachers. es that will be presented to the HSC examiners in August. Congratulations to all the students for their outstanding commitment to the process.

Sophia Glasson continues to impress in fencing. Last week, we reported on her finishing in the Top 32 in World Junior(U20) Fencing Championship in Dubai and as a 14-year-old winning the Bronze medal at the Australian Fencing Circuit (Senior category), all during the holidays. This week she has just heard the good news that she will represent Australia in London to compete at The Commonwealth Fencing Championships across Senior, Junior and Cadet Categories in August. That is seriously impressive Sophia, well done.
