Reddam House HSC results 2022 - 5th in State

Page 1

Dear Reddam House Community,

I’m sure you will join me in congratulating the HSC Class of 2022 and their teachers for their incredible results. Coming 5th in the State is a testimony to the dedication of our students and their families, as well as to the professionalism and commitment of their teachers.

The resilience and determination that I have witnessed from this cohort, together with the kindness shown to each other, have led to an optimistic and positive culture. The Class of 2022 can be proud of these attitudes. They have pooled their resources, collaborated, and helped each other over the line. They have been united in their quest to do and be the best that they could be.

This has bonded them into a cohesive unit who are proud of each other on an individual level, as well as collectively. Each student pulled their weight in order to achieve their personal best: I could not ask more of them.

The Year 12 Class of 2022, thoroughly deserves their banner. I could not be more proud of their collective effort.

REDDAM HOUSE HSC 2022 NEWSLETTER 16 December 2022 15
5th in STATE Top Independent School Congratulations to our HSC Class and their teachers 2022 HSC Results REDDAM HOUS E SYDNEY

To The Reddam House HSC Class of 2022:

Congratulations on completing your school career.

It has been so wonderful to reemerge following the COVID hiatus and enjoy important milestones and rites of passage together, once again. These have seen your cohort rise to every occasion. The Year 12 Final Assembly and the Valedictory were so very special to share together with your family, friends, and teachers. While these HSC results are impressive and we are exceptionally proud of you all, it is far more important to celebrate the wonderful adults you have become. Your values of collaboration, sharing, looking after everyone in the cohort, and shared vision are what have set you apart.

My final message to you Year 12s is the one I concluded with at your Valedictory Ceremony, “Authenticity is the one last truly competitive advantage for all of us because there’s only one you. So, if you can stay true to that, even though it takes a lot of courage and bravery to always act in accordance with the convictions for which you stand and chance the conseVquences – that’s owning your story.”

Each of you has already written a richly textured start to your story in these years here at Reddam.

We look forward to seeing you write the next exciting chapters as you head off into this new phase of your life. Enjoy all the excitement that life has to offer and have a full go at everything you put your mind to.

Goodbye and go well, Dave Pitcairn
