Redeye Marketing Services The Redeye Marketing department is committed to providing our labels with knowledge and opportunities for promoting their new releases and catalog titles. From traditional cooperative options like listening posts and price and positioning programs, to Redeye created materials like the New Release Book, Advance Promotional Mailing, and cooperative advertising with national chain Best Buy, Redeye Marketing has the tools available for your label to get the most out of marketing dollars allocated to promoting its releases. This guide will explain and show examples of the opportunities that Redeye Marketing has to offer that your label is welcome to take full advantage of.

One Sheet Placement The sales one sheet for the record is printed in this catalog with a color cover and black and white inside pages. Additional pages can be added for an additional cost. Single page advertisements can also be added to the book for a reduced cost. Highlight label news, a particular release, or a special tour and get guaranteed, specific street date New Release Book placement.

Advance Priority Mailing
Advance Priority Mailing Redeye has created an ideal opportunity to reach our top accounts in a concise and convenient way. This special mailing is compiled and sent to a list of your choice, either the top 75 accounts or the top 150 accounts. This mailing includes a play copy and one sheet for the release. 75 or 150 promotional copies are required for this mailing. Copies with a spine are preferred, but not required.

Indie Store POP Programs
Indie Store POP Programs Redeye Distribution recently surveyed our independent retail customers, asking what POP products that they find most effective. The top results came back as follows: 1) Physical Samplers 2) Posters 3) Stickers 4) Postcards Utilizing the top 4 POP results, Redeye created unique packages to allow you to promote a specific release, group of releases, or your catalog to our top independent retail customers.
Indie Store POP Programs Packages consist of combinations of physical samplers, posters, stickers, and postcards. You can showcase developing artists, promote an upcoming tour, or highlight the entire catalog at an affordable rate. The program can be split amongst releases - you are not limited to only one release per promotion. Package prices include all production of materials (sans design), implementation, and shipping to our top 75 indie store participants. Design is available for additional fee. All items (samplers/posters/stickers/postcards) are available a la carte. Please request pricing for individual items.

The Redeye Marketing department has created a series of affordable print ads that can be run to advertise releases and/or tour dates in 12 major U.S. markets. We have two options for retail tags: Best Buy and a mixture of local independent stores. Each ad is a quarter page in size and features two cuts. Larger or individual ads available upon request and at additional expense.

Redeye Indies Only Product Redeye has created a monthly street date to release your limited quantity and limited edition items. Any sort of special item can be marketed on this date. A cool pre-release 12 inch vinyl, a split 7 inch with awesome bands, special previously mail-order only items, or perhaps leftover tour stock, can all be placed into this program and sold under special terms (low cost, one way, etc). Redeye Indies Only Product is promoted on the first street date of each month via the printed catalog and a dedicated eBlast to all pertinent retail partners.
