From our Founder

What a difference three years can make. In early 2020, the world as we knew it changed. And with it, so did Cuvée. Throughout the pandemic, we welcomed the opportunity to stand still, unite as a team, and think carefully about our next moves. But most importantly, we took the time to genuinely connect with colleagues, friends, and family. This rare opportunity to go beyond the niceties and dig deeper was the undoubted silver living of the pandemic. It was also the inspiration behind Sanctuary by Cuvée (page 41), a meaningful way to experience our ever-changing world.

These months of reflection resulted in a stronger, more purposeful vision for Cuvée – one rooted in the art of discovery – in curating once-in-a-lifetime, immersive experiences that go beyond the typical trappings of “travel.” Case in point? Our culinary program (page 60). Far from what you’d find through a simple internet search, our Michelin star-worthy chefs are creating imaginative and flavorful cuisine. In fact, this exceptional team of chefs has turned Cuvée’s culinary offerings into some of the most sought-after in the world.

Creating these highly-curated experiences that transcend the bounds of a “vacation” has become the hallmark of our brand. To stay Cuvée means to live life in high-definition and with all five senses. Nowhere is this personified more than at our Cuvée Galas. Next year, we will once again travel to Europe for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome (page 32). Join us as we spend ten days seeing Italy Cuvée-style – from the Cup in Rome, to the rolling hills of Tuscany, to the idyllic shores of Lake Como.

We’ve also added to our collection of bespoke, luxury villas. From our private 250-acre Colorado ranch (page 68) to a 20,000 square foot Aspen chalet that must be seen to be believed (page 46), to a breathtaking waterfront estate on the iconic shores of Lake Como (page 36), our homes represent the most coveted residences in the world’s most celebrated destinations. What’s more, many of these homes are owned by members of our Cuvée community – likeminded individuals with a passion for experiencing the world. With Cuvée’s partnership, they’re seeing their properties from an entirely new perspective and optimizing their assets. Not only do we impeccably honor the integrity of these homes, we also afford our owner community access to Cuvée’s award-winning design and construction expertise. In some cases, this has exponentially increased asset value.

As we continue to artfully pair the world’s most exquisite private villas with the world’s most exclusive, one-of-a-kind experiences, it seemed fitting that we also evolve our beloved publication, Ventures.

With that, I give you the newly reimagined Curated by Cuvée

Very truly yours, Larry

THIS REIMAGINED 1950S AUSTIN-HEALEY LETS YOU RELIVE THE GOLDEN AGE OF BRITISH MOTORING

Starting at $421,000, the Healey by Caton will be limited to 25 cars

Nearly 80 years ago, Donald Healey took the unsuccessful Austin A90 Atlantic and developed it into the Healey 100, with a reworked chassis and new bodywork. The cars were assembled by Austin, with the result becoming the legendary Austin-Healey 100. Now, Canton will be a new Austin-Healey 100s with updated mechanicals and construction methods for a modern twist on the classic British roadster. Under the hood is a 3-liter inline-four making 185 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, sourced from J.M.E. Healeys. The body retains the iconic shape, smoothing and refining it by removing seams and exterior hinges and thoughtful touches like intakes behind the front fenders. The rear suspension is similar to the original with the exception of added dampers, while the front is a new double-wishbone design. Each car will be hand-assembled by Canton, and limited to 25 total.

LOUIS VUITTON’S PARIS HEADQUARTERS IS BECOMING A LUXURY HOTEL

The sprawling building in the first arrondissement will also be home to LV’s largest store worldwide

Louis Vuitton plans to transform its corporate headquarters in Paris into a hotel “within the next five years,” according to CEO Michael Burke. In a recent interview, Burke explained that the headquarters — located in Paris’ 2nd arrondissement near the famed Pont Neuf bridge — will undergo a massive revamp over the next decade. In addition to a hotel, the sprawling space will also house the world’s largest Louis Vuitton store.

While Burke predicted that his vision for the brand’s HQ will likely take anywhere from 10 to 15 years to execute, Louis Vuitton has already taken a first step towards transforming the building into a cultural hub. Starting December 12, the 400,000-square-foot building will play host to LV Dream, an experiential installation exhibiting Louis Vuitton’s long list of artist collaborations (Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince, and Yayoi Kusama included).

TAG ALONG ON FIGHTER JETS WITH AN ASTRONAUT

CEO and fighter-jet pilot Jared Isaacman is offering access to the Polaris Dawn crew

Billionaire astronaut Jared Isaacman is going back to space in 2023, two years after successfully funding and piloting Inspiration4, the first all-civilian mission to orbit the Earth. He will command the new mission, Polaris Dawn, a five-day spaceflight that aims to raise millions for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while also endeavoring to reach the highest Earth orbit ever flown. Lofty ambitions, both. A partnership with the ultra-luxury publication Robb Report, Isaacman, the CEO of financialtechnology company Shift4 and an accomplished fighter-jet pilot, is offering a reader and their guest access to the Polaris Dawn crew as they train for their space mission. The experience includes a tour of an aerospace facility, as well as two jet flights: a training expedition piloted by Isaacman in a MiG-29, taking off from Bozeman, Mont.; and a trip in an L-39 fighter jet flown over the Kennedy Space Center, where a rocket may be on the launchpad. The gift recipients will also get to take home the helmets worn that day. In addition, the experience includes VIP invitations to the Polaris Dawn launch and splashdown parties, hotels and rental cars, a recorded video from the crew in space and one other souvenir: a coin from the mission that will have traveled farther from Earth than any since the last Apollo flight. The $1.15 million dollar fee will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

CHÂTEAU LAFITE ROTHSCHILD DEBUTS ITS FIRST NEW WINE LABEL IN MORE THAN A CENTURY

You’ll be able to find Anseillan du Château Lafite Rothschild for under $100

Château Lafite Rothschild – the legendary Bordeaux wine label that played host to Cuvée’s 2018 Gala guests at its exclusive French vineyard – has introduced its first new wine since the creation of Carruades de Lafite in the late 19th century. A blend of 48 percent Merlot, 39 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 13 percent Petit Verdot, this first release of Anseillan du Château Lafite Rothschild is the result of a project that began in 2014. Named for a 16th century hamlet that has been part of the Lafite estate since it was fully assembled by Baron Elie de Rothschild in 1970, Anseillan has a suggested retail price of $99.

“The initiation of the project dates back to 2014, during a blending session for the Lafite team. It started out slowly, at first making just a few hundred magnums every year,” Saskia de Rothschild, DBR Lafite’s executive chairwoman explained. “We waited to see how those bottles evolved. In 2021, we tasted all the trials we had produced for every past vintage and found there was something there. That’s when the team decided to release this wine with the vintage 2018.”

Saskia de Rothschild says that the team’s objective for this well-priced wine is that it will be “shared at restaurant tables around the world that have sometimes forgotten how good it is to open a bottle of Bordeaux.” While the current retail price of $1,500 for a Château Lafite Rothschild 2018 keeps it out of the reach of many restaurant patrons, Anseillan’s accessibility levels the playing field for those who want to enjoy a bottle of Lafite’s finest outside of their own home.

VALENTINE FARM TELLURIDE, COLORADO

The latest addition to Cuvée’s growing collection of private ranches, Valentine Farm’s beauty is second only to its authenticity.

Just west of Telluride lies a property so magnificent, so deeply authentic, that it feels a bit like a dream. Settled on 120-acres in bucolic Norwood, Colorado, Valentine Farm is every bit the reverie one might conjure, yet is very real indeed.

The name is fitting – Valentine Farm undoubtedly has heart. With a history older than the nation itself, the property was first discovered by the Ute Indians, who used the southwestern Colorado mesa as a favorite hunting and camping ground. In the late-1800s, it was sold to the Joseph family, who passed the ranch down for more than a century before it was purchased by Belks, (of the eponymous department stores). A longtime part of the Cuvée community, McKay Belk has been familiar with the brand since its inception and, while the ranch is largely for his family’s personal use, saw the natural fit in partnering with Cuvée. “We’ve always been about blending the world’s most spectacular properties with the most unique, authentic experiences,” Cuvée Founder & CEO Larry Mueller explains. “I knew that Valentine Ranch was the ideal addition to our portfolio the moment I laid eyes on it. It aligns perfectly with our ideals of curating a collection of the world’s most spectacular estates that ooze authenticity and surpass even the loftiest expectations.”

Historic in its appeal and effortless in its charm, the ranch is surrounded by panoramic views of the wide-open West within a genuine Dark Sky community – one of only six in Colorado and 22

in the world. Free from the glow of metropolitan lights, guests of Valentine Ranch are privy to some of the most jaw dropping night skies and brilliant stargazing anywhere on the planet.

From summer to winter, the ranch is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts where fly fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, crosscountry skiing, sleigh rides, and most certainly horseback riding all abound. Jubilee Stables is an unparalleled facility, appointed with an exquisite 10-stall barn, rare indoor arena featuring state of the art geotextile footing, multiple large paddocks, and acres of turnout pastures. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned equestrian, there’s ample space for riding throughout the expansive property. In fact, being in the presence of the farm’s beautiful horses, led by the property’s world-class equestrian team makes the ranch more than a vacation – it becomes a life-changing experience.

The property centers on the main Ranch House, with fields, ponds, and outbuildings surrounding it. A threebedroom, four-bathroom home, The Ranch House features a contemporary kitchen, welcoming family room, and spacious game room making it the ideal place to gather as a group or family. Nearby, the ranch’s heritage outbuildings – which are original to the property’s homestead – evoke a rich sense of nostalgia and glimpse into life nearly 150 years ago while also offering additional space for guests. Two log-style cabins serve as an artist’s atelier and rustic three-car garage, while a gazebo set apart from the main structures lends itself to ceremonies, special occasions, private dinners under the stars, or simply quiet reflections under the open sky.

CHEF DU JOUR: ANTONIO ROMERO

Born into a legacy of restaurateurs, Antonio Romero was destined for a future as a private chef. With over 10 years of experience crafting a variety of international cuisine, from Mexican and Asian to French and Italian, Chef Antonio takes a minimalist and contemporary approach to developing irresistible dishes. He holds diplomas in an array of culinary realms, ranging from pastry to fusion cooking. His talents come to life as he serves Cuvée guests from all over the world, curating an unforgettable experience of gastronomic delight. We sat down to learn more his life story and how it inspires his craft.

Tell us about your upbringing in the culinary world.

I am from Tijuana and grew up on the coasts of La Paz – that’s where I spent my days inside the kitchens of my family’s restaurants. We moved to Los Cabos when I was 15 years old. I studied high school in the mornings and in the afternoons, I worked in a tapas restaurant, where I learned everything there was to know about the kitchen. I was offered the position of restaurant chef in those first 3 years – this was when I realized that cooking was my thing.

Once you knew culinary was your passion, what came next?

All my focus was culinary at that point. I worked for six years in different hotels where I sought the position of executive chef. I looked for an international chef certification to study everything related to the position, from pastry and quality control to human resources. I focused my education on Italian, Japanese, Mexican, and French cuisine until I got the position of executive sous chef in a hotel at 23-years-old.

Incredibly impressive! Continue taking us on this journey up until now. After being an executive sous chef, I became second in charge to Michelin Star Chef Thierry Dufour, managing his ultra-luxury French restaurant. Following that, I spent a year touring Mexico where I learned the specialties of Mexican artisan cuisine from different regions, something that I adopted for the creation of my own menus. I began to merge international cuisine with Mexican artisanal cuisine as I looked for the best of each region, the mother recipes, the unique processes of preparation, the best experiences I had.

Then, five years ago, I came to Cuvée where I continue studying and creating menus every day that bring each client a new experience. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, seeking to meet their highest expectations.

22 CURATED WINTER 2022-2023

What sustains your passion for culinary?

I am dedicated to crafting recipes that carry out an unforgettable experience – that captivates me. I continue to study the art and design of culinary and how to achieve the perfect fusion between presentation and taste.

If a Cuvée guest says, “Make me your favorite dish,” what are they eating that night?

It would be a Mexican menu no doubt. One of my favorite dishes to prepare is smoked corn cream and chilis stuffed with seafood in a 5 chile sauce, ever so slightly sweetened with agave honey.

What are your most requested dishes by Cuvée guests?

It varies a lot – anything from seafood risotto and Mexican favorites like enchiladas, mole, chile relleno to seed-encrusted lamb or fish and freshly-made sushi.

Apart from a spectacular meal, what can Cuvée guests expect from a dining experience with you?

I seek to create a unique and unforgettable experience by fusing the most beautiful elements of Cabo into my culinary, while creating a genuine atmosphere.

What is your best advice for home cooks who want their food to taste as delicious as yours?

Cook any dish with love and passion and incredible things can be made.

What do you like to do when you are not cooking?

I really like going to the beach. I enjoy fishing in the beautiful port where I live.

LINKS: DUSTIN MILLER

A beloved member of the Cuvée community, Dustin Miller’s imprint on golf is as widespread as the 18-hole classroom that he teaches out of at Parker’s Blackstone Country Club. The Iowa native and three-time PGA Instructor of the Year nominee has earned a reputation as one of the region’s most in-demand professionals, helping golfers at all levels reach their full potential. Here, we take to the fairways to find out Dustin’s tricks of the trade, the course he cannot wait to play, and what he considers to be the most important club in his bag.

How old were you when you first picked up a golf club?

I started playing golf when I was five-years-old, I had the opportunity to grow up in a golf family, and I’m thankful for that every day!

What led you into this profession?

The golf business was always intriguing to me. I wanted to have a career where I helped people and teaching golf gives me the chance to work with others, while doing something I am passionate about. I also love business, so I enjoy that side of it as well.

What makes you different from other golf pros?

I take great pride in getting to know my clients and members. I really care about them, and I have their best interests in mind. I want to earn their trust and become family rather than client and instructor.

What is your favorite golf course of all time?

Pebble Beach is one of my all-time favorites. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

What course are you dreaming of playing, but haven’t had a chance to yet?

I think everyone’s dream is always Augusta National. That would certainly be mine. I grew up watching the Masters with my Dad, dreaming of being a champion. It’s such an exclusive course with so much intrigue and appeal.

24 CURATED WINTER 2022-2023

What’s the most important club in your bag and why?

Most would say the putter, because that is where a lot of strokes are saved and while that is very true, I believe the driver is crucial. If you can’t get off the tee you will be in for a long day!

What’s your favorite Major and why?

The Masters, because of the tradition, the tournament is perfect. The music they play, the memories you have of past years, it’s played at the same course each year, and it’s in April after the winter months. It’s the real kick off to golf season.

Favorite golfer growing up? Favorite golfer now?

I always looked up to Tom Watson, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tiger Woods. All for different reasons. All great players, great competitors, all great ambassadors for the game of golf, and all great champions.

For someone hoping to improve their golf game, what is your #1 piece of advice? Find a good instructor and have goals in mind. You must have something you are chasing. Be on the same page as your instructor, then understand what the objective is and why you are working on it. I look at golf and all the functions of golf as a puzzle. You have to know how to put all the pieces together. Once you do that, you have then created a beautiful picture.

INTRODUCING THE SWING BAYS

Building on his success as a sought-after golf pro, Miller recently launched The Swing Bays, an indoor training facility just outside of Denver, Colorado. With six TrackMan simulator bays, a large putting green, golf fitness center and social lounge, the 6,000 square foot space is unlike anything in the area.

“My goal is to create a great environment where people can come practice, play simulator golf, get fitted for new clubs, or simply socialize in a very cool, golf-centric environment,” Miller explains.

Available through membership or by appointment, The Swing Bays is geared for all levels, and offers one-on-one instruction from seasoned professionals as well as club fitting and golf-specific workouts. What’s more, the space has plenty of space for unwinding and grabbing a post-session drink. “I think people are hungry for this type of facility. It takes the idea of the social simulator golf experience and brings it up to a level that attracts serious players.”

BEHIND THE SCENES OF ROYAL ISLAND’S STARRING ROLE ON THE WORLD’S MOST AMAZING VACATION RENTALS

Even Netflix needs a vacation. And so, in grand Cuvée style, the streaming behemoth ventured to the Caribbean to experience all that is Royal Island.

“The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals” – an unscripted docuseries that tours destinations the world around – featured Cuvée’s exclusively private, 430acre island off the coast of North Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The response from both cast and crew alike? Best. Trip. Ever.

The show’s hosts, who include Million Dollar Listing New York’s Luis D. Ortiz and content creators Megan Batoon and Jo Franco, received the full Cuvée treatment while visiting the uber-luxe paradise. From picnicking on remote sandbars while enjoying the culinary prowess of Cuvée’s world-renowned Chef Sergio Castro, to jet skiing through crystal clear blue waters, to sailing the days away, the experiences on Royal Island were undisputed cast favorites. “You can do anything you want and live your best life in one of the most remarkable destinations in the world,” gushed Ortiz.

For Cuvée, hosting the cast and crew was one of the true highlights of 2020. In fact, the show’s talent and production teams were the last guests to stay on Royal Island prior to COVID-19 shutdowns. “The property, the amenities, the staff and the service are the definition of luxury. Of all the places we traveled to around the world, Cuvée’s Royal Island is one of our favorite destinations,” shares Executive Producer George Verschoor.

But of all the islands in all the world, how exactly did the partnership between Netflix and Royal Island unfurl? “The production company, Critical Content, saw an article about Royal Island in Men’s Journal in early 2020. They reached out to me and the rest, as they say, is history,” explains Cuvée Co-Founder and Partner Susan Farrugia. She went on to share that since the episode debuted, reservations for an island getaway have skyrocketed. “From the show, we have booked an unprecedented number of future stays.” And while privacy is always the name of the game with Cuvée, it can be confirmed that the dossier of upcoming guests includes some of Hollywood’s most recognizable names.

With five intimate villas on the sand surrounded by miles of untouched turquoise sea, Cuvée’s Royal Island has become an international destination for families and friends looking to celebrate and connect in a highly curated, uniquely private way. Bahamian adventures on the Island include a dedicated staff who create a fully immersive, personalized journey. A private beach club, chef-driven culinary program, and access to every imaginable water activity appoint the Royal Island itinerary as do unique experiences like spearfishing and movies under the stars.

“World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals” is available now on Netflix and the private island themed episode highlighting Cuvée’s Royal Island is number five.

Day 3: SEABOBS AND SOUNDS

Ever wonder what it feels like to glide through the water like a dolphin? Choose Nikki or Shell Beach and have your own Seabob delivered. Gently slide on the surface while soaking in the sun, or dive down to explore vibrant sea life, tropical fish, and colorful coral.

Later, enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired lunch at Shellona, before retreating to your villa for Grand Cru French wines with bottles plucked from the rock cave wine cellar at our stunning Vue De Rêves.

When evening hits, it’s time for a toesin-the-sand Caribbean dinner! Surround yourself with island atmosphere at our BBQ Beach Night as tiki torches light your tables and our Cuvée chef barbecues a selection of meat or fish over an open fire.

Local guitarist Don Soley supplies globally influenced music under a universe of stars on the secluded Gouverneur Bay beach, the evening will perfectly reflect the romance and relaxation of Caribbean life. With a musical repertoire as global as the cuisine, Soley takes his inspiration from his native Spain and many travels, sometimes playing Sambas, sometimes Reggae, Bossa Nova and Salsa, as well as Flamenco, Jazz, and Rock.

Day 5: SECRET SWIMMING SPOT

Day 4: LUXE SHOPPING ADVENTURE

Wake up to an in-villa Vinyasa flow session to center your mind and body. After the zen comes a private shopping experience, pristinely planned by Myriam, to bring home a piece (or two, or three) of exquisite luxury,

Named by Forbes as one of The World’s Best Shopping Destinations, St. Barts is a shopper’s utopia nestled within a tropical paradise (think, Parisian style with French Riviera inspiration). Your Experience Maker guides the way from iconic Louis Vuitton to quaint boutiques hidden in sidewalk alleys. If you’re one to shop-till-you-drop, pair Champagne and style consultations with each boutique.

While you’re away, the little ones will enjoy a Pâtisserie Experience with our private in-villa French baking class. Decked out in Cuvée aprons and chef hats, they’ll spend two hours learning how to make and decorate cupcakes, macarons and other delicious treats!

3 Day Day Day

End your day with a gourmet seafood dinner at Bonito, where the tuna and chipotle tacos are legendary.

Personally guided by Myriam, find a hidden gem of St. Barts – the rare, natural pools. Meet mountain goats along the way and cool off with a dip in this secret spot, unknown to tourists.

4 5

Back at your villa, set aside two hours for a private caviar and champagne tasting with Chef Christophe. Using island markets to create dishes that will best feature the caviar, the chef will explain the inspiration behind each preparation and its flavor pairing with French wines and champagne.

Wrap the day at Eden Rock’s restaurant, The Sand Bar, for a taste of their signature truffle pizza and crispy salmon.

Warm, inviting and high on style. We love the rustic Colorado vibe and drew inspiration for our latest property – Triple C Ranch by Cuvée – from all that is the American West. RYDER CUP GALA 2023 La Dolce Vita

“Cuvée has become a close-knit community of likeminded leaders who share a passion for celebrating an extraordinary life, in the world’s most exquisite cultural destinations,” Founder and CEO Larry Mueller explains. “Nowhere is this personified more than at the Cuvée Gala.”

As with many of the Cuvée Galas, 2023 will center on a major world event – The Ryder Cup in Rome. Yet in keeping with all that is Cuvée, the trip also offers a privileged glimpse into La Dolce Vita of Italy with elite, private access to the country’s most iconic museums, restaurants and cultural landmarks. Cuvée has curated an exclusive itinerary where slipping past the velvet rope is de rigueur. “What we create at our Galas is truly unique. We build singular experiences with unprecedented access to places and events that no traveler could replicate on their own,” Cuvée CEO and Founder Larry Mueller explains.

La Dolce Vita

BEYOND THE LINKS

Ancient ruins, incredible art, and the epicenter of modern history all describe the allure of Rome. Gala guests will experience the Eternal City in all its splendor, with behind-the-scenes tours of Rome’s most iconic landmarks. Revel in the awe and wonder of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel without the crowds during Cuvée’s private tour. Arguably one of mankind’s greatest artistic achievements, the resplendent chapel was completed in 1512 and is still used for many of the Pope’s official ceremonies to this day.

Gala guests will also gain after-hours access to The Vatican itself. View secret rooms not typically seen by the public as well as Cappella Niccolina, The Room of Gold, and Bramante’s Staircase during this exclusive outing to Vatican City and its deeply spiritual museums and collections.

ROME

Part 1:

September 27th to October 2nd

THE RYDER CUP

We will arrive in Rome, where one of the city’s most opulent and sought-after boutique hotels will welcome us in style. Nestled at the foot of the Janiculum Hill, in a quiet corner of Trastevere stands the Donna Camilla Savelli. Once the home of a classic Baroque monastery, the hotel boasts all the charm of historic Italian architecture yet has been beautifully updated with the trappings one might expect from a luxury respite – a tony spa, impeccably decorated accommodations, decadent restaurants, and the finest service. Our home base in Rome, the centrally located hotel allows for ease of travel to Marco Simone Golf & Country Club – the exclusive location of the 2023 Ryder Cup. The most legendary and historic tournament in golf, the Ryder Cup stems back to 1927. Since then, the sport’s greatest players have come together to vie for the win. A deeply patriotic event, the Cup represents a longstanding rivalry on the links between the Americans and Europeans.

Not only will Gala guests gain VIP access to the Ryder Cup, they will also experience Cuvée’s private hospitality suite with unmatched views of the course, chef-prepared fare, top-shelf libations and the utmost in privacy.

Following suit, we will also partake in a private, “underground” tour of Rome. Visit the Capuchin Crypt, also known as the “Bone Chapel,” the ancient Roman Catacombs, and the San Clemente Basilica - the so-called “Lasagna Church,” where guests can descend in layers from the 12th century to the first.

The crowning jewel in Cuvée’s Roman holiday will take place within the Vatican walls at our ultra-private Gala dinner. Typically reserved for the privileged inner circle of the Roman Catholic Church, our celebratory evening will find us in rarified air as we enjoy an unforgettable meal in even more unforgettable surroundings. A oneof-a-kind experience, guests will remember this enchanting evening for many years to come.

Part 2:

TUSCANY October 2nd to 5th

We’ll travel in style from Rome to the rolling hills of Tuscany, where we will experience the region’s finest food, wine, and accommodations. From Cuvée’s sprawling Tuscan Farmhouse to the magnificent Castello di Spaltenna, our Tuscan homes away from home reflect the region’s quintessential beauty and iconic architecture.

While in Tuscany, our palettes will be treated to the most decadent fare in all of central Italy. Michelinstar chefs will guide us through Tuscany’s deep-rooted culinary heritage during a private cooking class and wine tasting in an authentic Italian castle. After class, we will relax, sip and taste the inspiring dishes we have created together.

Thrill seekers and luxury car lovers will relish the opportunity to drive the most iconic Italian sportscars – Lamborghini Ferrari, and the vintage FIAT 500 among them – through the winding Tuscan hillside.

Next, we will experience the culinary prowess of Florence’s most revered chefs amongst its most esteemed works of art. A private dinner at Galleria dell’Accademia, home to Michelangelo’s David, promises an experience to behold.

Part 3:

LAKE COMO October 5th to 8th

The final leg of our adventure will transport Gala guests from Tuscany to Lake Como. Experience the destination’s majestic mountains, turquoise blue waters, and magnificent gardens, Cuvée-style, where Villa Serena will be our home. Located on the private and peaceful shores of Bellagio, the area is famous for its beautiful estates, actor George Clooney’s included. Stroll the stunning property as you take in the azalais, bamboo forest, and olive grove.

Throughout our Lake Como adventures, we will discover the world of Nebbiolo grapes, which produce some of the most renowned wines in the world, Barolo and Barbaresco, among them. We will also experience the unique cuisine of northern Italy, which is distinctively different than the humbler ingredients typically used in the south. Heavier creams, decadent sauces, rich polentas and braised meats are the culinary norm as opposed to the olive oils, pasta and seafood commonly found in the southern regions.

While in Lake Como, we will partake in a grand, full-day private tour onboard an open-top Riva Boat, one of the most fascinating and elegant wooden watercrafts in the world. During our cruise, we will admire the legendary villages of Varenna and Bellagio from the water before stopping in Sala Comacina for lunch at the Restaurant La Tirlindana, which will has been reserved for the exclusive use of Gala guests.

The Ryder Cup Italy Gala will take place September 27th to October 8th, 2023. For more information, please contact Susan Farrugia via susan@cuvee.com or 303.957.8227

LookingBack onParis

The 2018 Ryder Cup Gala offered an unprecedented glimpse into the Joie de Vivre of France with elite, private access to the country’s most iconic museums, restaurants and cultural landmarks.

Beginning with the accommodations – the storied Ritz Paris – the first several days of the Gala saw guests embarking on one quintessentially Parisian adventure after another. A historical jewel dating back to the 19th century, the hotel is located in the heart of Paris on the famous Place Vendome, the quintessence of the French Art de Vivre combining the best of tradition and modernity. While there, Cuvée joined forces with the lauded, uber-elite Ritz-Escoffier School of French Gastronomy for an unrivaled culinary adventure. Established in 1988 in honor of Auguste Escoffier, the first executive chef of the Ritz, the school (which can rarely be accessed by the public) hosted Gala guests for an exclusive, private lesson that included a guided tour of local markets to select fresh ingredients before returning to the esteemed kitchen to learn the technique, presentation, and basic elements of French gastronomy.

While Cuvée gatherings have always exhibited an exemplary focus on cuisine, the team took it to the next level in France. A private dinner and Louis XIII tasting at the Musee Baccarat’s enchanting Cristal Room made for an extraordinary experience. Yet for many, the highlight of their time in Paris was an unforgettable private tour of the Opera Garnier, the setting of the Phantom of the Opera and the city’s finest example of Baroque architecture.

After spending four exceptional evenings in Paris, galagoers moved to Versailles to check into the stunning private Chateau that they would call home. Chateau Mesnuls was not only beautiful but was also conveniently located near Le Golf National – the site of the 2018 Ryder Cup. When they were not watching the likes of Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia and Rory McIlroy from the Cup’s VIP hospitality suite overlooking the 7th hole, guests were found exploring the renowned Gardens of Versailles, indulging in spa treatments, and enjoying a rare “closed door” glimpse into the Palace at Versailles. In the evenings, memorable culinary experiences including Le Murder Mystere (a traditional murder mystery) and a King’s Feast dinner were the idyllic endings to unforgettable French days.

38 CURATED WINTER 2022-2023

Following the four nights at Château des Mesnuls, Cuvée guests journeyed on to Bordeaux, where remarkable architecture, world-famous wines and cuisine awaited them. Cuvée’s guests delighted in the family-rooted, dynamic appellation of SaintEmilion where the luxurious but quaint Les Sources De Caudalie was our home.

Located among the vineyards of Chateau Smith Hat Lafitte, a Graves great growth, the 5-star, part-hotel, part-country inn allowed guests to, quite literally, enjoy a run in the vineyards, cycling in the forest and luxuriating in a world-class “vinotherapie” spa. In the evenings, we dined at the inn’s two Michelin star inhouse restaurant.

Saint-Emilion is perhaps the most important appellation in Bordeaux, iconic for its beautiful buildings as well as for its production of the area’s most prestigious and long-lived wines. Guests roamed the vineyards in true Cuvée-style, with privileged, private access to the 15th-century cellars of iconic wine estates including Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Latour and Château Margaux.

“Cuvée always makes it special, to say the least. From VIP access to the Ryder Cup, to private tours of the most world-famous museums and iconic vineyards, it’s a once in a lifetime experience.”

Sanctuary by Cuvée

A silver lining in the form of family connection

Nearly three years ago, the world as we knew it changed. And the way we explore that world changed along with it. The pandemic altered many things in our daily lives, and travel was undoubtedly one of them. We traded busy restaurants and bustling itineraries for intimate evenings around the dining table at the hands of a private chef. We rejected the notion of constant activity and instead savored the moments with the ones we love.

Ultimately, we remembered – or perhaps learned for the first time –that the true value of human interaction is connecting deeply with one another. In taking the time to engage with the people and cultures around us in a way that builds meaningful memories. In having real, substantive conversations and truly listening in return. Prior to the pandemic, many of us had become accustomed to living our lives at a pace so break necking that we oftentimes lost our interpersonal connections with those who matter most.

This spirit of true connection is epitomized through Cuvée where the emphasis is on private, intimate experiences that allow people to connect. To create profound, meaningful memories. Post-pandemic, travelers have placed an emphasis on bespoke, private luxury travel experiences – the kind that are the very heart and soul of Cuvée.

“In many ways, the pandemic evolved our brand’s entire purpose,” Farrugia continues. “At a time when survival was the name of the game in the travel industry, we thrived. We raised the bar with Sanctuary by Cuvée, and we’re proud of that.”

A silver lining in the form of family connection, Sanctuary by Cuvée is a concept that centers on healthful, tranquil, and most importantly, private luxury travel experiences. A way for multi-generational families and friends to escape to the world’s best collection of villas and destinations without the stresses that typically accompany travel in the post-COVID world. And it was inspired by the firm’s own experiences.

In the case of Cuvée Founder and CEO Larry Mueller, the pandemic provided an unexpected opportunity for togetherness with his wife, adult children, and grandchildren. One that fostered deeper family connection and enormous gratitude. “I was in Los Cabos in mid-March at our Seaside La Casita when travel restrictions started to increase, particularly in my home state of Colorado. I felt strongly that staying at our Seaside La Casita would be a far better and more healthful environment for selfisolation than Denver in the early spring,” he recalls. “I really wanted my whole family with me – my wife, my adult daughters, their partners, and my two grandsons. To me, this was the one bright side of the pandemic. When else do we get to spend this kind of extended family time together?”

For the Muellers, who ultimately spent several months at Seaside La

Casita in 2020, that time together changed their family dynamic for the better. They were able to surpass the niceties, meaningfully connect, and delve deep into family issues, challenges, and aspirations.

“Certainly, some of the family had initial concerns, but being able to bring everyone together, especially our grandchildren, became the overall motivation,” Mueller says. With the help of the Cuvée team, private travel arrangements were made from Denver to Los Cabos at the height of the pandemic – a feat in and of itself. Once there, meticulous planning and thoughtful (and myriad) details by the Cabo experience team went in to creating Cuvée’s first Sanctuary stay.

Naturally, creating a safe haven for the Muellers was at the top of the list, particularly given the many unknowns that were on everyone’s mind at the time. For starters, the entire property was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following the most stringent of protocols. To this day, those same protocols remain in place for every Cuvée stay. Healthful meal planning to ensure guests receive plenty of grocery supplies and access to essential nutrition. Curated wellness and fitness offerings to maintain and improve health throughout the stay. Family connection activities to ensure the family leave feeling more connected than ever before

Like the rest of the world, the family was also balancing the nuances of conducting business remotely during their stay, which made quiet, private workstations of the utmost importance. Cuvée’s team worked steadily to ensure each family member had a space of their own as well as fast, reliable WiFi connections and strong, consistent phone service. All without losing focus on their health and wellness. The Mueller family engaged in both daily step count challenges and tennis matches in addition to cooking together with fresh, organic produce and meats from Flora Farms – the local favorite restaurant and farmer’s market. In their downtime, they even took the opportunity to teach their then 15-month-old grandson how to swim, a memory that will forever remain a family favorite.

“Cabo is incredibly safe and proved to be the best decision our family could have made. Our physical and mental health improved significantly,” Mueller says with a knowing smile. “Being close to the ocean was tremendous, and the opportunity to paddleboard, surf and show my grandsons the passing whales, was truthfully one of the most special times of our lives.”

“To me, this was the bright side of the pandemic. When else do we get to spend this kind of extended family time together?”

PEAK PEAK TO

CUVÉE’S GROWING COLLECTION OF LUXURY COLORADO MOUNTAIN HOMES

With its majestic mountains, wide open spaces, unparalleled dining scene, and arguably the best skiing in the world, it’s no wonder visitors flock to colorful Colorado time and again. Coupled with ever-changing COVID restrictions, today’s guests are drawn to the appeal of traveling closer to home more than ever before. And in the case of Cuvée, the Rocky Mountains are our home. “With our global headquarters housed right in Denver, it only made sense for us to increase our footprint in our own backyard,” explains co-founder Susan Farrugia. “Over the past few years, we’ve added not only a great number of residences to our roster, but also the state’s most enviable and exclusive residences.”

From Vail Village’s only private standalone home, to a 35-acre Aspen estate, to one of Telluride’s most stunning luxury new builds, these Cuvée homes away from home are Colorado real estate royalty.

1001 UTE AVENUE

FUNCTIONAL

ART “As Good as it Gets”on Aspen Mountain

The crown jewel in Cuvée’s growing Aspen repertoire, 1001 Ute Avenue is arguably the most coveted and talked about property in the Roaring Fork Valley. Boasting more than 20,000 square feet, the 4-story, 7-bedroom estate is a modern architectural masterpiece – a true work of art where the natural mountainside landscape blends harmoniously into the home’s forwardthinking design.

“To have an estate of this stature, in this location, speaks to the quality of homes we are choosing to bear the Cuvée mark,” says co-founder and partner Susan Farrugia. “There is not a more architecturally interesting or innovative residence in the region. It’s a perfect example of how we operate with intention when we select our villas. It’s about curating a collection of unique, showstopping architecture – not collecting dots on the map.”

A ski-in stunner perched on the eastern slope of Aspen Mountain near the Ute Trail, the residence must be seen to be believed. Smart in design and refined in style, 1001 Ute Avenue is a thoughtful example of both functionality and enduring luxury. From the three-story atrium to the indoor lap pool, rotating dining nook and turntable garage, the residence is a modern marvel where no detail was overlooked.

Using the mountain on which it sits as a springboard for its contemporary organic style, 1001 Ute Avenue makes perfect use of its environment with sweeping picture windows that artfully frame Aspen’s world-famous views. Cathedral ceilings are wrapped in the finest timber and crisply tailored furnishings are punctuated by collectible contemporary art.

Developed with an urbane sensibility and incisive eye, 1001 Ute Avenue is centered around an atrium that thoughtfully connects its four stories – an approach that allows each floor to seemingly float above the last. Vertical glass pocket doors span the length of the residence, lending themselves to indoor/ outdoor living during Aspen’s unmatched summer months (not to mention direct access to hiking trails).

Upon entry, guests will notice the ultimate luxury for any car enthusiast – a turntable garage that fits up to four vehicles. Once inside, ample ski lockers allow for a seamless transition from mountain to manor, while an elevator accommodates easy access to the expansive residence.

A sculptural fireplace serves as the centerpiece of the main level gathering space – a detail that both warms and wows with its intricate yet subtle design. The ideal après ski respite or post-hike indulgence, the home’s piece de resistance is an indoor pool that reads more like an aquatic art installation than a swimming structure. What’s more, the saline pool (which is heated yearround) also acts as a natural humidifier against the dry Colorado climate. Also on the main level is a dining area which, like the garage, boasts a rotating base that allows for 360-degree views and sublime entertaining.

The entire second level plays host to a three-bedroom apartment with its own exterior entrance, making the residence ideal for multi-generational guests and larger groups seeking privacy. Just above, the home’s spacious third level boasts four luxuriously appointed bedrooms, including the primary. Replete with a custom 9’x9’ King Bed, private office, en suite bathroom with two showers, a circular soaking tub, two powder rooms, and a boutique-style walk-in closet, it is a true oasis for the home’s principal guests.

The stunning residence is also an entertainer’s paradise – one that perfectly blends luxury with leisure. A bespoke billiards table is set against a backdrop of Aspens and Evergreens, with an adjacent wine tasting room, bar, and home theatre with custom-made walls ideal for acoustics. Meanwhile, a subterranean bowling alley is beautifully flanked by floor-to-ceiling stone and timber. It’s the ideal setting for hours of entertainment, all in the privacy of your estate.

All of this, however, is eclipsed by the ultimate indulgence – an in-villa spa. Perhaps the best-appointed in all of Aspen, amenities include a professional gym, couples massage room, steam room, sauna, cold plunge pool, hot tub, changing rooms and multiple showers.

THE MOTHER LODE Aspen’s Most Enviable Residence

In a town known for its expansive skies and raw, natural beauty, The Mother Lode is not only one of Aspen’s most impressive residences, but also its most centrally located. Desirably situated in the heart of downtown on East Hyman Street, the home is next door to the iconic Aspen Opera House. World-class skiing, the town’s celebrated restaurant row, luxury boutiques, abundant culture, and endless outdoor activities are mere moments away. It’s a location typically reserved for condominiums and hotels, and one that Cuvée guests are raving about.

“Having the type of access to downtown Aspen that this home offers and the privacy and amenities of a Cuvée residence is unheard of,” Farrugia says. “Typically, there’s a tradeoff. You can either be right in town, or have a private home with plenty of seclusion and luxury features. In the case of The Mother Lode our guests have both, and then some.”

The ultra-luxury penthouse also boasts an unrivaled rooftop—the grandest in all of Aspen—that offers sweeping views of the mountain and adjacent Wagner Park. “The rooftop is definitely the home’s quintessential calling card,” Farrugia continues. “There’s nothing better than basking in the hot tub overlooking Aspen Mountain after a long day on the slopes or the trails.”

Design-lovers will appreciate the home’s couture interiors and custom artwork, as well as The Club’s unique entertaining and recreation features: a golf simulator, video arcade games, sleek bar, pool table and ping pong, private fitness studio, and luxury theatre room.

THE MOTHER LODE: Increasing Value and Rentals by 200%

With its incredibly unique locale in the center of downtown Aspen, The Mother Lode offered a distinct opportunity for growth, yet needed the vision and skill to bring the home to its full potential. Through Cuvée’s design, marketing and management expertise, The Mother Lode’s rental stays increased by more than 200%, within one full calendar year. “We took the gross annual rentals from approximately $500,000 to over $1.5 million.

The property, which was purchased in 2017 for $17 million, sold in late 2021 for $36.5 million. Along with the sale, the Cuvée rental service agreement was transferred.

“We began working with Cuvée for The Mother Lode towards the end of 2020. It was the best decision we could have made for our downtown Aspen ultraluxury property. Cuvée is maximizing our rental returns and delivering clients who recognize the singular lifestyle offered exclusively by The Mother Lode,” the owners attest.

STAR MESA GRAND The Epitome of Aspen Luxury on 35 Acres

This Aspen estate has everything imaginable to expertly entertain discerning groups and multi-generational families. Boasting a plethora of luxuries – from a year-round heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi, to a private pond surrounded by walking trails, an impressive tennis court, pickleball court, terraces, patios, and 360-degree mountain views – the 35acre property is both rare and exquisite.

A meticulously designed contemporary oasis, Star Mesa Grand features numerous living spaces including a formal dining room for 16 people, a breakfast room for 10, and an expansive living room stunningly outfitted with a grand piano and ambient fireplace. With function to match design, it is also home to a library, two offices, media room, sleek bar, game room, fitness studio, and massage therapy room. Plentiful natural light throughout the home, an artfully stocked chef’s kitchen and extreme detail blending the outdoors into the living space make this a critically acclaimed masterpiece.

Exceptionally designed by Aspen architecture firm Rowland+Broughton, the 13,000-square-foot retreat is situated on an ideal private setting in McClain Flats. “Every space in the home was designed to optimize its floor to ceiling views of the White River National Forest,” Farrugia denotes.

This home gives guests access to all the indulgences one might typically associate with the area – but elevated to match Cuvée’s signature style. “With rarities like a boat dock and private trails for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and hiking, the home is not only perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, but also for those who seek true privacy, even during Aspen’s busiest seasons,” she adds.

VAIL

AVANTI CHALET, REIMAGINED Mountain Modern Cuvée Masterpiece in Vail Village

Like Cuvée’s Mother Lode property in the heart of downtown Aspen, its Avanti Chalet location is in a class of its own. As the only private standalone Vail Village home, Avanti is a rare mountain masterpiece – the result of a multi-milliondollar, carefully crafted Cuvée renovation in December of 2020. Originally built in the 1960s for Vail’s very first Mayor, the 9,300 square foot estate has all the charm of an authentic Austrian ski home combined with contemporary 21st century updates.

Spend a day on the mountain, then ski back to Avanti to unwind in the private gym, sauna or Jacuzzi, and shake up a drink from the stocked wet bar. Ski in, ski out in the heart of Vail from Avanti’s desirable location between the Christiania and Tivoli Hotels on the Golden Peak trail, a jumping off point for the powdery backcountry of Blue-Sky Basin. You’ll love walking to restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment in the vibrant village, all the while enjoying the luxury of private mountain tranquility.

Avanti’s total transformation converted the home’s traditional, compartmentalized rooms into contemporary open spaces. Clean lines, natural finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows and distressed custom-patinaed flooring maintained the historic residence’s character while finishes such as wrought iron chandeliers and mixed textiles like leather, mohair and hide connect it to the natural landscape.

With a professional chef’s kitchen and fluid dining and living areas, along with 8-spacious bedrooms and a private yard, the home is ideal for multiple families and events. “When we were redesigning Avanti, we gave a lot of thought to how we could create a communal vibe, while still having spaces for families and guests to enjoy their own activities,” co-founder and CEO Larry Mueller describes. “By giving the home an open, flexible floorplan, we were able to achieve exactly that. The new layout allows for large group gatherings, with plenty of options for sociability in the same space while also doing different things.”

What’s more, the kitchen, living, and dining spaces were opened to reveal full mountain views, creating a convivial gathering hub. State-of-the-art culinary amenities like a 48-inch Wolf Range cooktop, Sub-Zero wine system, and marble bar appoint the kitchen. Art walls flow within the interior, along with natural stone finishes, sliding glass rollers in baths, and a mountain-inspired, stunning jagged quartz chandelier suspended over the dining table.

“It’s very uncommon to have a home with this kind of history that also offers Avanti’s level of contemporary design, finishes and amenities,” Mueller affirms. “It’s a rare reflection of Vail’s roots as well as its evolution.”

With its long history of bringing residences in the world’s most celebrated destinations to their full potential, Cuvée’s homeowner community has recently looked to the brand not only for management and marketing, but also to reimagine these luxury spaces into the most beautiful, functional, and coveted homes in their respective locales.

In the case of Avanti Chalet, where Cuvée redesigned and converted the nearly 9,000 square foot space into a contemporary mountain masterpiece, returns were astounding. Avanti Chalet’s Cuvée transformation produced a substantial increase in the home’s asset value. In addition, under Cuvée’s leadership rental revenue returns have increased from $260K to $1.4 million annually, with 2023 projections expected to reach $2 million.

“We love knowing that our property is enjoyed by guests who appreciate the level of quality and service that Cuvée properties deliver. Being part of the Cuvée community is incredibly rewarding; it’s one of the best decisions we have made for our home,” owners George and Carol Solich declare.

TELLURIDE

HOOD PARK HAVEN The Epitome of Elegance with Endless Views

Heralded as a top mountain chalet by Architectural Digest, Hood Park Haven is one of the most remarkable ski-in, ski-out estates not only in North America, but globally to boot. With its trailside location directly on Galloping Goose ski run, the extraordinary 18,000 square foot residence is adjacent to acres of Hood Park open space, creating incomparable vistas across open meadows to the forests and peaks beyond.

“Hood Park Haven is pure perfection. The home is one of the finest in Cuvee’s portfolio,” affirms Larry Mueller. “The interiors are flawless. From the well-thought layout to the bespoke furnishings, to the unexpected, resort-like amenities such as a bowling alley, wine cellar and secondary kitchen, Hood Park Haven is masterfully designed.”

Within the home’s expansive footprint lie seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a two-lane bowling alley, three living areas, a ski room with lockers, and myriad outdoor living spaces. A custom Nespa Stone Hot Tub, two gas firepits, a BBQ grill and nearly 3,400-square feet of heated terrace allow guests to take in the majesty of Telluride Mountain.

An end-of-road locale offers incredible privacy, while the setting itself optimizes views and natural light in every respect. Hood Park Haven’s south facing aspect is sun drenched all year while the north facing elevation has a front row seat to alpenglow sunsets. “It’s intentional mountain architecture at its best. A classic nod to the past and a visionary embrace to the future,” Mueller continues.

This massive oasis is a standout even amongst the impressive nature of Mountain Village. Every Rocky Mountain adventure –horseback, heli-skiing, fly-fishing – is just steps from the chalet. What’s more, the floorplan seamlessly blends indoors and out to enhance gatherings in any space, for which there are boundless options.

“Experiencing Hood Park Haven means experiencing the best of the best. It’s an iconic home, one that makes an idyllic backdrop for life’s most important moments,” Mueller finishes.

SKI FOREVER

Modern Mountain Village Oasis

Constructed from a blank canvas into a single level mountain modern residence in 2017, Ski Forever offers private elevator access and the largest open-air, snow-melted balcony at the popular See Forever Village in Peaks Resort.

“We selected Ski Forever not only for its incredible interiors and superior location, but also for its functionality,” explains Susan Farrugia. “It’s an expansive residence with the perks and amenities of the resort, but it lives like a single-family home.”

A stunning home with functional spaces for gatherings and group reunions, Ski Forever offers a prime corner setting with direct mountain access and views overlooking the jawdropping Telluride valley floor. Dining, shopping, and family activities are all within steps of the villa in popular Mountain Village. Year-round recreation coupled with the comforts of the Peaks Resort – a full-service spa, hot tubs, an indoor and outdoor heated pool, exercise facilities, and a highly regarded golf course – make the home’s locale both desirable and convenient.

A fully-stocked chef’s kitchen and entertaining space would please even the pickiest home chef, with an island plus peninsula that accommodates cooking for large groups with ease. What’s more, the kitchen and dining rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed views of the San Sophia Ridge, putting seasonal colors and wildlife center stage from nearly any vantage point. A custom sofa that seats 12 makes for the ideal spot to take in the unmatched scenery while relaxing in front of the fireplace.

Ski Forever’s entrance is most certainly welcoming, with a spacious limestone foyer reminiscent of a luxury boutique hotel. “From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by luxe details and gorgeous architecture,” Farrugia says. “Guests love the outdoor terrace with gas firepit where the views span the Box Canyon, making for the perfect spot for après ski cocktails and socializing.”

Designed in the most discerning mountain contemporary motif, the entire residence is flawlessly appointed – from its four plush bedrooms to its beautiful bathrooms. “Ski Forever’s details mimic those found of the pages of the most esteemed design magazines,” explains Lisa Nielsen, Cuvée’s Telluride business development manager. “Brass accents, soaking tubs, custom lighting, large walk-in showers with the most exquisite tiles and finishes – Ski Forever’s interiors are some of the most striking in our collection.”

ALPINE CHIC AT COURCHEVAL Luxe Mountain Village Ski-In/Ski-Out Residence

Recently transformed into a contemporary mountain masterpiece, Alpine Chic at Courcheval is a skier’s dream. With an unrivaled Mountain Village location, the four-bedroom home delivers true ski-in, ski-out access and two legacy lift tickets – a rare and coveted advantage for any Telluride traveler.

The property is anchored by sizeable, picturesque living areas that capture the vivid beauty and dramatic alpine landscape of the storied mountain town. “There’s nothing quite like looking out your window and watching skiers descending directly outside,” Farrugia describes. “Cuvée’s Courcheval home is ideal for those who seek an authentic mountain experience and the absolute best access to Telluride’s world-class slopes.”

The home comfortably sleeps ten, and boasts in-floor, radiant heat ensuring coziness and comfort no matter the season. A sleek, boldly designed kitchen is replete with the niceties one would expect of Cuvée, while the adjacent dining and living rooms reflect an open-concept, convivial floorplan that’s conducive to entertaining. Throughout the residence, guests will note the vivid, modern interiors and colorful contemporary art that give the space a distinctive vibe – most certainly not your average vacation home. “Alpine Chic at Courcheval oozes personality,” Nielsen says. “The artwork, the furnishings and the finishes make it such a unique space. It’s sharp, chic and very creative. I’ve yet to see anything like it in Colorado.”

LOS

Cuvée’s Los Cabos jewels are shining even more brightly as of late.

Two of the portfolio’s most celebrated residences – Seaside La Casita and Casa Cuvée – have undergone renovations that elevate the properties to a new level of luxury. All told, the projects for both homes began in July of 2020 and were finished by November of the same year. An aggressive timeline in any climate, and for anyone else, an impossible one mid-pandemic.

With Cuvée managing the projects directly, the team wore the hats of architect, designer, and general contractor while also overseeing the space planning, material sourcing and final selections.

The iconic Casita, Cuvée’s cliffside home overlooking the Sea of Cortez, received a total transformation both in structure and in style. “The goal was to bring the Casita up-to-date in terms of finishes,” Larry Mueller explains. “When the home was first built, everything was done in a traditional Mexican style, and we wanted to evolve that design not only to reflect our aesthetic today, but also to optimize its overall livability.”

Evolve they did.

CABOS BY DESIGN

Inside Cuvée’s stunning Baja transformations

Throughout the main level, terra cotta flooring was replaced with a light, elegant marble sourced from the finest quarries in Mexico City. No small feat considering the existing concrete and tile materials were painstakingly removed piece by piece and hand carried up several flights of stairs. From there, wall textures and colors were modernized and, in some instances, removed entirely to create an open, indooroutdoor flow. What was once a media room and choppy bathroom layout became a comfortable main floor suite replete with a private shower, spacious vanity and ample closet space. A beautifully designed powder room and vanity were added for guests to enjoy without having to enter another guest’s bedroom.

Yet in Cuvée’s culinary-forward culture, the most significant transformations, naturally, were the kitchen and dining spaces. Bespoke cabinetry and a custom range hood were installed, as were double islands – one for kitchen prep and one for gathering and socializing. Both were crafted from a distinctive granite with dramatic veining and feature a matching countertop-toceiling backsplash. “We opened up the kitchen, dining and living rooms and created a beautiful entertainment space that has become the most widely used area of the Casita.”

In addition to a built-in coffee and espresso machine, tequila and fine spirits display, ice maker, and professional grade wine dispenser, the bar area also highlights a unique television mounted inside a rare natural stone slab. The installation is part of the property’s new stateof-the-art audio and visual system, one that allows guests to control their environment with ease.

Throughout the first and second levels, bathrooms were redesigned with new cabinetry that mimics that of the kitchen – a look that is equal parts calming and contemporary. Custom furnishings in cool tones, rich textures and clean silhouettes gave the interiors a fresh new look – one that is decidedly au currant and

most certainly conducive to entertaining. Sleek and modern while remaining approachable and inviting, it’s a milieu that is classically Cuvée.

Meanwhile, the Casita’s outdoor spaces have experienced a transformation of their own. A Brazilian Ipe wood sundeck was constructed to maximize views while also allowing for more lounging space and seamless outdoor entertaining. The already impressive infinity edge pool saw the addition of built-in fire features, and the patio décor was elevated to include beautifully appointed vignettes for socializing and dining al fresco. “Our Seaside Casita is all about outdoor living and enjoying the incomparable views of the Sea of Cortez and Palmilla Beach. We carefully considered how families use the villa and, ultimately, how the outdoor space should function for entertaining. The new layout is much more intuitively-designed,” Mueller notes.

Further south in Cabo San Lucas, Casa Cuvée, with its postcard views of San Lucas Bay and Land’s End, has also received notable updates. Albeit much less extensive renovations than its neighbor to the north in Villas Del Mar, the property’s kitchen, dining, and main living areas have been modernized.

Like the Casita, the home’s kitchen saw the most significant changes. Custom-designed, hand-finished cabinetry was installed, and sleek white countertops replaced their darker, dated predecessors. The adjacent, open concept dining and living spaces were reimagined with neutral hued, richly textured furnishings and window treatments.

For both properties, feedback has been resoundingly positive. “The home was top shelf all the way,” notes recent guest Doug Constable. “The renovations were done exceptionally well.”

CUVÉE Cuisine de

Cuvée’s curated global culinary program

Culinary experiences have long been at very heart of what it means to “stay Cuvée” and over the past several years, that notion has become ever apparent. Today, Cuvée ‘s food-forward, chef-driven culinary program rivals that of the world’s most acclaimed restaurants.

With a roster of renowned chefs who showcase their whimsical and creative approaches to the craft—from forage to fork— Cuvée affords its guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the industry’s most elevated cuisine. In fact, these chefs raise the bar in every sense. “By cross training with fellow Cuvée chefs, mixologists and sommeliers throughout our portfolio, we provide peer education on everything from classic French techniques to the flavor power of unique Mexican spices,” explains Rita Cuéllar, VP of Operations. “By forging culinary bonds and trading secrets of the craft, you’ll discover global influence and inspiration from Colorado to Mexico.”

The talents of Cuvée’s culinary program run deep and diverse, from cooks and chefs to farmers and ranchers, harvesters, and vintners.

“Culinary is the number one most sought-after experience amongst our guests,” reveals Founder & CEO Larry Mueller. “While this may come as no surprise, the key point is that following the industry norm of hiring unvetted, unqualified and unknown private chefs from a google search is not what makes for a meaningful experience,” he continues.

Conversely, Cuvée has cultivated the most talented chefs in its destinations around the world who create delicious, authentic—and even theatrical—dining experiences. Experiences to rival that of the top Michelinstarred restaurants around the globe. And, according to Mueller, they’re succeeding. “Take Chef Antonio in Los Cabos for example, his sashimi infused with jalapeños and citrus is the best I’ve ever had, hands down, anywhere; and Chefs Jay and Adam in Vail, who fly in fresh seafood daily from Tokyo for our guests.”

For culinary-minded travelers, it simply doesn’t get any better than Cuvée.

ASPEN

Aspen’s cache most certainly belies its size and its food scene is no exception. In fact, the exclusive mountain community has always been a culinary town. The mining boom of the late 1800s brought wealth, refinement, and white-tablecloth restaurants to Aspen. European wine and delicacies such as oysters and fresh seafood were shipped from the coasts, and local ranchers made farm-to-table cuisine a way of life long before it was de rigueur. Today, Aspen is a worldwide food sensation lauded for attracting some of the world’s best chefs. Cuvée brings Aspen’s acclaimed dining experiences to the tables of our private homes and state-of-the-art kitchens. And while the vivid scenery and storied celebrity of this Rocky Mountain enclave beckon many, it’s arguably the rich culinary culture that keeps them coming back. From the iconic stage of the Aspen Food & Wine Classic and our very own Fête Aspen by Cuvée, we can’t get enough of the culinary scene in Aspen.

CHEF JIMENA YGLESIAS

Originally from Costa Rica, Chef “Jimbo” Jimena was a foodie growing up. After studying arts for several years, she decided to combine the two things she was most passionate about. Chef Jimena graduated with a Dîplome Culinaire d’Hôtelerie from Le Cordon Bleu in 2017. Following her love of food and travel, Chef Jimena spent time training in Spain and Italy before making her way to Aspen, where she set down roots. Much to the delight of Cuvée’s Aspen guests, Chef Jimena’s work also includes Japanese influence from famed Matsuhisa.

On Cuvée’s Royal Island, just off the cusp of where the deep blue Atlantic Ocean meets the sparkling turquoise of the Caribbean Sea, island culture sets the pace, and inspires the culinary experience led by our acclaimed Chef Sergio Castro. The sea’s influence is thoughtfully showcased in each meal with simple, yet exquisitely colorful and eclectic presentations. Royal Island features classic snapper, cracked conch, rock lobsters and the regions’ crop of citrus including grapefruit, oranges, and lemons as well as produce including tomato, onion, okra, cucumber and more.

Chef Sergio Castro

Born and raised in Puebla City, Mexico, Chef Castro started cooking and working in the kitchen at the age of 20 and went on to train as a chef at Pizzolotto Institute of Gastronomic Arts. Arriving in Los Cabos in 2007, Sergio worked as a sous chef for Diamante Golf Clubs, executing private dinners and special events. In 2010, he founded The Cabo Gourmet to provide professional chef services and share quality and top artisan cooking to a roster of private clients. And during that same year, Sergio simultaneously connected with Cuvée to deliver world-class culinary services to their clients around the world and opened his very first restaurant, Cabo’s lauded La Vista Restaurante.

Vail’s high altitude sunken valley is ideal for access to fresh and organic produce, wild river fish, and the best damn lamb in the world. Locally grown and farmed ingredients, like heritage pork and the world’s second most prestigious nut, the pine nut, allow our Cuvée chefs in Vail to showcase the best in Rocky Mountain cuisine. The Vail Valley lies in one of the largest states in America encompassing gold-medal trout waters, legacy ranches and unique topography with extreme temperature variances. This results in exceptional stone fruit orchards that pair perfectly with the lean and savory game. Decadent desserts, produce-forward appetizers and an incredible selection of local spirits define Vail Valley cuisine and our talented chefs are at the heart of it all.

CHEF ROSI FOLMER

Born and raised in Argentina, Rosalba (Rosi), grew up in a “finca” surrounded by an orchard, where she experienced the true meaning of the “Farm to Table” lifestyle; from making homemade preserves and limoncello, to picking fresh eggs for pasta every morning. At the age of 18, she moved to Buenos Aires to pursue a degree in engineering, where she found that her true passion lied in creating healthy, sustainable, and delicious food. Since graduating in 2008 with a Degree in Culinary Arts, she has explored the world through her unique culinary lens.

CHEF ELI GERSTEIN

After spending several years working amongst some of Vail Valley’s finest dining establishments, Eli decided to focus his time and attention on private homes and events. LOS CABOS

LOS CABOS

The Baja peninsula is known for its dramatic desert landscape, legendary surf culture, and endless seaside views. Yet it’s also home to a sophisticated dining scene that digs much deeper than street tacos and tequila. Local chefs are championing farm-totable ingredients and fresh seafood. Today’s Los Cabos is built around immersive, organic culinary experiences and fusion cuisine that reflects a much more global influence than the Cabo of years past. Trendy microbreweries, rustic outposts, five-star restaurants – Los Cabos has it all. Yet for us, the best fare in the region is found in the Cuvée kitchens of our own Chef Antonio Romero. Triple Ranch

An Ultra Private Colorado Ranch Experience with the Cuvée Touch PRESENTING

The moment you arrive, you know.

You know you’re in the presence of something special.

You know authentic when you see it.

You know, while the word “perfection” can mean many things, that you’re witnessing one of those things.

You know that you’re about to experience something so exclusive and rare that this will be the trip of a lifetime.

Welcome to Triple C Ranch

by Cuvée, your own 250 acres of wide-open space in Silverthorne, Colorado. A mountain masterpiece that, while a quick 90 minutes away from Denver, may as well be a world away. It’s an idyllic, allseason sanctuary tailor made and exquisitely curated for private gatherings.

Named for the convergence of three forks of Rock Creek and the surrounding White River National Forest, Triple C Ranch’s rich history is intertwined with the love story of its proprietors, Sharon Magness Blake and Ernie Blake. The duo purchased the land in 2003 just months before they tied the knot. Since then, they’ve gone on to build an enviable piece of Colorado heaven that until recently, could only be experienced by the couple and their guests. Today, it’s the latest jewel in Cuvée’s growing collection of coveted vacation experiences.

“We are elevating the western-style ranch experience to the Cuvée level,” explains CEO & Founder Larry Mueller. “With Cuvée design features throughout the two custom lodges – and highly personalized and experiential adventures curated for each group – this is a singular ranch experience that is entirely new to the market, and available only with Cuvée.”

Ponds stocked with trout anxiously await your fishing lures. Miles of uninterrupted trails are primed for hiking, horseback riding, or, if the season suits, cross-country skiing. Meandering creeks long for the company of your kayak or canoe. At Triple C Ranch, the big, wide-open sky is quite literally the limit.

Accommodations at Triple C Ranch are built with comfort and connection in mind. Fresh off a multimillion-dollar Cuvée renovation, Triple C’s two extraordinary lodges, situated just a short walk away from one another, are crafted from refurbished logs that once made up the cabins dotting Colorado’s eastern plains. Featuring mountain-chic interiors, chef-equipped kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces and signature Cuvée beds throughout, there is ample space and privacy for up to 16 guests.

In addition to being the Rocky Mountain home of Denver Broncos’ mascot Thunder, the eponymously named Thunder Lodge is a treasure trove of quintessential mountain charm offerning stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Guests will witness mountain wildlife outside their windows, while a wraparound terrace, outdoor dining area and grill create a stunning summer setting for al fresco entertaining. The open kitchen, living and dining areas are punctuated by framing views and a beautiful Swiss copper stove.

Neighboring Elk Lodge (a 2-minute walk away) showcases ample open spaces for entertaining, a large farm-style dining table for up to 16 guests, a chef-equipped kitchen, wood-burning fireplace and a deck with grilling features. Elk Lodge is situated above one of two ponds, and features a private and separate family apartment, along with authentic mountain décor.

“I’ve worked all over the world and there is no place like Colorado. The majestic mountains and beautiful Aspen trees inspired me to design the home around floor to ceiling windows,” shares Cheryl Lucas, Cuvée’s lead interior designer. “We used rich textures like leathers, hides, rich tapestries and velvets; these dynamic materials are a perfect complement to the warmth of the showstopping fireplace and natural wood elements throughout. The end result is spectacular, and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”

For natural adventure seekers, the possibilities at Triple C Ranch are seemingly endless.

During the warmer months, Triple C Ranch is a never-ending playground of activity with long summer days allowing guests to experience it all. Spend your time UTV or ATV riding through the blooming foothills, paddle boarding on the picturesque creeks, hiking along the miles of winding trails, playing bocce ball, tossing horseshoes, learning archery, or rafting and boating on nearby Lake Dillon.

A true four-season escape, Triple C is equally appealing once cooler weather hits. This winter wonderland caters to every outdoor activity imaginable, draped in a backdrop of snowcapped mountains, stunning evergreen pines and a lushly forested landscape that’s second to none. Fall and winter months host everything from snowshoeing, crosscountry skiing, sledding and snow tubing, to snowmobiling, ice skating, and, of course, skiing at your choice of four nearby mountain resorts.

Throughout the holidays, Triple C Ranch boasts a time-honored tradition that’s certain to become a treasured family memory. Spend the day wandering through the private forest of evergreen pines, searching for just the right Christmas tree to cut down. When you get back to the ranch, cozy up by a roaring fire and trim the tree, wine or cocoa in hand.

Of course, the art of relaxation is alive and well at Triple C. Holistic wellness activities include yoga with private instruction, an immersive menu of decadent spa treatments, and one of the country’s only equine therapy facilities of its kind.

On a property this special, nothing less than an equally unforgettable dining experience will do. Coupled with a carefully curated wine and spirits program, guests can expect exquisite options for home-cooked family meals. In grand Cuvée tradition, Triple C’s thoughtfully designed, chef-curated culinary program will please even the most discerning palates.

And while a place this special – this authentically unique – is typically found only in storybooks, it’s alive and well a mere 90 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Denver. All 250 acres of it.

TUSCANY: LA DOLCE VITA, DEEPENED

Embrace pure Tuscany: perfectly paralleled vineyard paths, the Strade Bianche–Italy’s winding white gravel roads, and iconic brick facades, rosy in the light all year long. But even more so is that incomparable Italian feeling—la dolce vita—genuinely bestowed by Cuvée.

With Cuvée’s utterly charming Francesco as your guide, race through enchanting countrysides in vintage FIAT 500s or witness the landscape from above, touring our favorite vineyards by helicopter, or waking up to farm fresh eggs from our estate hens.

From impressively restored and Cuvée-designed 16th-century farmhouse to an array of palatial villa estates, it’s a magical experience in Tuscany with Cuvée’s luxury vacation villas and holiday home rentals.
