NEW YORK DISTRICT FALL CONFERENCE NYDKC hosted their very first Virtual Fall Conference on November 21 & 22! Over 300 Key Clubbers from around New York State attended! Throughout the weekend there were workshops, K-Fair, Keynote Speakers, and more! If you missed the District Fall Conference, visit nydkc.org to access all of the workshop presentations and Keynotes! Personally, my favorite part of the entire conference was the Keynote at the end of Day 1. Sergio's speech spoke of youth empowerment and making the world around us a better place for one another. A big shoutout to Eliza S from Ticonderoga, and Alanna V for Northern Adirondack for attending! - Lieutenant Governor Chloe

TICONDEROGA'S CHRISTMAS CARDS When it was posted that we would be given the chance to decorate Christmas cards for people in local nursing homes, I got really excited, because I love using my creativity in ways that can help others, even if it’s something as little as decorating a card to make someone’s Christmas a little better. I took a total of 20 cards, and spent at least five hours decorating them. I wanted to make them as fun and creative as possible! I really enjoyed decorating them! I listened to Christmas music while doing it, just so I could get in the Christmas spirit. The day after I finished decorating them, I handed them in to my school’s Key Club advisor, and she donated the cards to Friends Comforting Friends to be distributed to local nursing homes. FCF is a local nonprofit going the extra mile to help friends in need. I like knowing that I can do something to hopefully make their Christmas more special, even if it’s simply decorating a card. - Avery Blanchard, Member Ticonderoga Key Club
