February-March Edition NYDKC DIVISION 14

A NOTE FROM ME ~ YOUR LTG A NOTE FROM ME ~ YOUR LTG

Hey Division 14!

This is it! We have officially made it to my final publication of the Adirondack Announcements. You, Division 14, have done such remarkable work this past service year and I am incredibly proud to continue working with you this next service year!

At the end of this month I will get together with the current and future District Board to host our in person Leadership Training Conference! I highly encourage each club to have a few members attend if they can!

Before we can celebrate, we have to elect our next District Officers! The Virtual Caucus is March 25th, and the deadline to register is March 14th! If there are any questions, please reach out!

As I wrap up my final newsletter, I cannot explain how proud I am of our small, yet mighty division. You all have continued to show that service truly can change our lives. Thank you for all of your efforts this past year!

Webster Thomas Key Club held their March meeting on March 6th, 2023 after school. At the meeting, we had each officer discuss and explain their job and role, so people could decide if they want to run to be an officer for the ‘23-’24 service year. We sent out a Google Form for all of the students to fill out, and many expressed interest in being an officer. We are looking forward to voting for our next officers at our next meeting in April. In addition to the information on club positions, Webster Thomas Key Club also completed a service project where we wrote encouraging messages and words of wisdom and hung them around the school to spread positivity. It was lots of fun to make the posters with members. We hope these messages will brighten someone’s day and make a difference in someone’s life.
