Sunderland Restaurant Week returns! 12 - 20 March The tastiest week of the year has returned in triumphant fashion, as Sunderland BID welcomes one of the region’s biggest food and drink celebrations back to the streets of Sunderland! ,Yes, Sunderland’s ever-popular Restaurant Week is returning, a fantastic opportunity to try out some of the new kids on the block or a good excuse to return to an 8
old favourite. The city’s food scene has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years, which is great news for hungry foodies. With cuisines ranging from Mexican to Italian, from Chinese to Indian, from classic British gastro pubs to high street favourites – those hitting the city streets are really spoilt for choice. Sunderland Restaurant Week which runs from 12 – 20 March (yes, we know, slightly longer than a week in reality, but, is anyone complaining about that?) already has some
amazing venues signed up with more joining every day. Each restaurant, bar or pub across Sunderland will have deals at £5, £10 or £15. Think of it as your exclusive invitation to make that visit to a newly opened eatery or reacquaint yourself with a much-loved haunt.
