Footprints in the Sand §

§

One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.” He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you.”

Loving Memories Dear Ken, My son and best friend. I will miss our encouraging words we shared daily. I will miss watching movies and laughing with you. I will especially miss all the love, hugs, kisses and jokes. My dear teddy, although I’ll miss you so much and all the good times we have shared, I know I’ll see you again. This is not goodbye. Until we meet again. -Love forever in my heart, Mom

Kenny was a very beautiful, loving, kindhearted person. He loved each and everyone of us. Whenever we saw him he always had a smile on his face and made us laugh. We will forever love and miss him. -Love your Cousins P 6

Dear Kenny, We can honestly say we were blessed and fortunate to have had you in our lives. We will miss the laughs and good times we’ve had with you. You were unique and there will never be another you. You were kind, forgiving, loving and funny. You were compassionate and willing to help others. Because of your qualities, we have no doubt in our hearts that you got your wings. I know you are smiling down and saying, “I’m good aunties, I am with my heavenly Father now.” We love you dearly and you will be truly missed. -Love your Aunts
