The Story of

Wells 1
Anthony Louis Wells was born to the union of Mr. Alvin and Dorothy Wells on June 7, 1966. GOD knew early on that Anthony would need two mothers and so much love that he sent Linda into his life and they shared a special bond. Anthony was the eldest of five siblings. He attended Cody High School in Detroit, Michigan and accepted Christ at a young age. Antony was a very talkative and friendly person. If he called you “Dude”, you were definitely a friend! A few of Anthony’s hobbies were, playing chess, his Xbox and Playstation, watching karate movies and cutting grandma Maclin’s grass. Also, Anthony liked to cook, he cooked many different meals, some of his favorites were brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might,” and that’s exactly what Anthony did. Anthony loved spending time with his father, oftentimes he would go to New Maclin Temple Church with his daddy, (who called him “Macaroni”) and help clean the sanctuary and deep fryer. Anthony also loved spending time with his mother, cutting her grass, detailing her car and even cooking her breakfast on Sunday mornings. Anthony was the father of two daughters and one son. He had several jobs, his latest place of employment was the Fisher Company from June 2015 until his passing, June 2018. Anthony was a huge fan of SUPERMAN, and in his eyes, Superman was REAL! If Anthony could talk we believe he would say, “I fought a battle of sickness for 361 days”.

Anthony, God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest with the help of his angels, they flew you to your heavenly place. God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb. He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be Thine” It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home. We love you with all our heart and soul. Love your Sis, Sandman
