Ingredients              

Small Brinjal- 2-3 Small onion- 1 Medium-sized tomatoes- 2 Dry red chilies- 3-4 Curry leaves- 7-10 Tamarind paste- 1 tbsp Rai- 1 tsp Sambar masala- 2 tbsp Rentio toor dal- 1 cup Salt to taste Red chili powder- ½ tsp Turmeric powder- ½ tsp Asafoetida- 1 pinch Oil- 1 tbsp

How to make brinjal sambar? 1. Wash the toor dal thoroughly and add it into a pressure cooker along with 4 cups of water, salt, and turmeric powder. 2. Cut the 2 small brinjals and add them to the cooker. Mix it well can cook it for 2-3 whistles. 3. Let the pressure of the cooker release on its own. 4. Once pressure is released open the lid of the cooker.
