From the Director...

Good evening and welcome to Conrad Weiser Middle School! Tonight’s production is brought to you through a collaboration between the Conrad Weiser High School PTO and Genesius Theatre. These groups, in addition to Aida’s Production Team, are comprised of folks who share a common passion for providing our youth with a variety of opportunities for education, fun, and personal growth. The 75 cast members performing for you this evening range in age from 6 to 22. Representing a dozen Berks County schools and five colleges, these “kids” are a “Who’s Who” list of our region’s musical theatre creme de la creme. What an inspiring experience we’ve shared in putting together such an emotional piece in just 7 weeks. I’m truly grateful for the journey and for the countless people who have helped to make this show what it is. We hope this story will speak to you and our performance will give you a glimpse of our passion for what we do. On behalf of Genesius Theatre, CWHS PTO, and everyone involved in AIda, we thank you for your support. Please enjoy the show. Theatrically yours, Hope L. O’Pake, Director
