Nowadays, machines are used in weaving silk in order to reduce time cost in production, gradually decreasing people's awareness of traditional weaving. People moving to the city, paying less attention to cultures as well as the community being not promoted and hard to access, traditional silk weavers start to separate and weave at home. Those who are interested in local weaving then find it hard to find a learning center. Still, today, fashion designers are starting to bring back the local cloth to recreate it in a modern style and make it more outstanding. With the reason mentioned, the idea of silk promotion project then came along in order to make it a learning center for new generations to gain knowledge from and preserve later on.
