To give recognition to former students of the college who have thrived in their chosen fields, students from Broadcasting 4A pioneered Dangal ng Kolehiyo, the first alumni awards of the College of Arts and Letters (CAL) and of the university, May 4 at Valencia Hall. Dangal ng Kolehiyo Alumni Awards, which was created under the undergraduate study of a group of students from BAB 4A, is divided into three different categories namely Young Alumni Awards, Outstanding Alumni Awards and Distinguished Alumni Awards. According to Princess Navarro, one of
the members of the pioneering group, they have encountered problems such as insufficient funds and manpower before launching the event. “Medyo struggle kami pinansyal kaya kinailangan talaga namin na humingi ng tulong ‘di lang sa kolehiyo natin kung ‘di maging sa iba’t ibang tao para lang maipush itong event na ito. During the event, I think ang naging problem is sa manpower. Kulang kami sa komite,” Navarro stated.
