Lieutenant Governor Hey Krakens! Can you believe it’s already July? I hope the past month of summer break has been treating you well. Thank you to everyone who made it to the June DCM! If you were unable to attend, don’t worry the July DCM will be here before you know it! And speaking of summer events, have you registered for Seattle Rally yet? More information regarding the rally can be found on the D33 Facebook group but contact me if you have any specific questions. Even though it’s summer break, I would still like to see officers turning in reports but if there are any hardships let me know, preferably before the due date! I know clubs are less active during these months but if your club is in need of any service projects or fundraising ideas feel free to contact me and I would be happy to help! In love and service,

KRAKENS ON
A Q&A With District Bo
District Governor
What time is it? It’s summer time! Hello, hello my wonderful Krakens. With the school year now over, we have more time on our hands. Time is such a valuable entity in life and with that, I plan to dedicate a lot of it to Key Club. Throughout my term I really want to get down and dirty in service alongside my PNW Key Clubbers and especially all of you. So I encourage you to dedicate more time to Key Club and create those unforgettable memories of a lifetime. Serving as your District Governor is still so surreal and I am still extremely lucky to have this opportunity. All in all, feel free to contact me anytime, anywhere about anything Key Club or if you just want to talk. Remember this, once a Kraken, always a Kraken.

Feel free to break out of your bubble. Even if you joined to get hours or make your resume look good, you’ll learn to discover that Key Club is more than what meets the eye and will be with you for the rest of your life.
ADVICE FOR ANY KEY CLUB MEMBERS
Trick or Treat for UNICEF. This was my first Key Club service project and overall it’s really great seeing the people of your community and so many bonds can be created with other Key Clubbers. (As in any and maybe even all events)
FAVORITE SERVICE PROJECT AND WHY
Creating a difference as a district with KCCP, reminding everyone that service is fun, and showing members that Caring is my Way of Life by bridging the gap through events and official visits.

oard Members From D33! Hey fellow Krakens! I hope you’ve all been enjoying summer vacation so far! School may be over, but service never stops. I encourage you to stay in contact with your club officers to see what service projects you can get involved with during the summer—you’ll probably catch me volunteering at the MultiService Center or at the Lions Club Car Show in August! As for the District Board, I am humbled to be serving as your Convention Aide this year. Planning for DCON 2017 is already underway, and I can’t wait for you to see the surprises we have in store. Ever since my very first DCM, I have been so thankful for this division for making Key Club feel like home. You all exemplify what it means to be a Key Clubber. I look forward to getting to know you throughout the year! Feel free to contact me if you ever have questions, comments, or just want to say hi!

ADVICE FOR ANY KEY CLUB MEMBERS
I love volunteering at the Multi-Service Center because it was the first service project I ever did with Key Club! It showed how kind and caring the Key Club community was and encouraged me to keep coming back.
FAVORITE SERVICE PROJECT AND WHY
I hope to increase transparency between the district and club levels and also include more member input with decision making.
