Author’s Note Welcome from Luie Boone! We are very delighted to present our 7th magazine of WAGGERS WELCOME. Our journey for this 7th magazine has taken us to places that we simply cannot wait to inform you about. We will not spoil it right here as we really want you to enjoy every second, every minute and every page of this volume of WAGGERS WELCOME. We have not changed our format, just the incredible locations, that Mom and I write about. Prepare yourself to be both thrilled and amazed. Again, observe that each vacation destination is broken into four sections. First, being an explanation on each fun vacation location. Second, is the description of the vacation rental our family will happily stay at. Each family member will have their own sleeping quarters. Other amenities are included and I have, in addition, added a personal saying to each description and do hope you take a moment to enjoy my expression of each place. The 3rd page remains committed to each specific location with 3 dog-friendly activities, 1 dog-friendly restaurant and 1 unique dog feature about the vacation spot. I do end every section with a map from our home city of Hortonville, Wisconsin to each dog-friendly vacation spot. This includes miles driving, hours on the road,

Long Beach, located on Washington’s southwestern coast, where the Columbian River meets the Pacific Ocean, “is one of the most visited oceanfront spots in the Northwest.” Visitors and their dogs are excited about the endless list of adventures and attractions that are offered there. Do not miss out on taking a sunset stroll, with your dog, on the 28 miles of wide, flat, sandy beach. “Known for its year round mild climate,” a gorgeous coastline and so much more this area is truly “a winner” for both people and their dogs.

Ponce Inlet, Florida, located on the southern tip of a beach peninsula, south of Daytona Beach and Daytona Beach Shores “offers a small town lifestyle” for you and your dog while still getting an ocean experience you both will never forget. If you “crave exercise,” the stunning beaches are just the place to walk or jog with your dog. You must take a stroll out on to a jetty pier, “but be aware that waves do crash over the jetty”, making it a very wet “splash zone”. However, if a slower pace is what you desire, you and your dog can hike nature trails, have a picnic or just relax on the beaches watching all the boats that cruise into the inlet. Located 52 miles from Yellowstone National Park’s east entrance, with the scenic Shoshone River flowing through the city, there are plenty of things to see and do with your dog. With “no shortage of outdoor fun and adventure,” you must come here to explore all of it with your dog.
