Yet, what is it, and how does that work? How can it really help someone with a physical or developmental disability? Does one have to give up their support staff to get this technology? Technology is developing rapidly and can include video cameras, iPads, medication dispensers, motion sensors, device applications, adaptive switches/ utensils, twoway talk or video devices, auto shut-off devices for electronics, mobility aids, adaptive keyboards, smart glasses, wheelchairs and walkers, braille displays and magnifiers, speech recognition systems, cognitive aids, physical modifications in the environment, and even a robot.
