others for a sustained period of time. The children always enjoy the visits we plan and they help to establish good relationships for the rest of the academic year. Special visitors
Year 5 children enjoy a two-day residential visit, while Year 6 children love the residential week.
We regularly invite guests to run extra-curricular sessions with our children. These are often based around a certain subject, or are designed to give children a flavour of what life is like in the real-world.
Our residential visits help students develop independence and resilience through a range of adventurous activities as well as the social skills needed to get along with
Recent visits include Maths and Engineering workshops with Airbus, football freestyling with John Farnworth, and archaeology talks by Bristol Zoo.
