EPHEMERAL
Lasting for a very short time Light changes from second to minute. Together with it, universe seems moving at random, organic and unpredictable. A scene of a beach at noon will change several times within 45 minutes. People who come will not recognize at all this changes unless they observe carefully and capture it consecutively, compare the result and superimpose them. Photographer is the one who does those task. Within one minute, there will be chain of moments, linked to each other, or sometime not related at all. In one place at the same time there might be some events happened: executive chasing the bus, little girl waving her hand, a gentleman proposing to his girlfriend, fireworks explosion, a group toast in a party. Those moments are individual dots in a stretch of timeline, a person might only see a dot and missed another moments. The one that they missed might be the best in their life.

PARS PRO TOTO
Part (taken) for a whole Dots form line, lines will compose a face and volume. Any shape that formed leaves mark on our mind as an identity. How does a kid being able to tell there is a tiger on the documentary channel if the screen only show the black stripes on orange? how do you identify from typical pictures which smile is your mom’s? how amazing it is when people around the globe would say ‘liberty statue’ when there is only it’s hand holding torch being shown on postcard. This is our brain capability to produce whole picture of an object, to recognize figures visually and to recall the label we gave for particular objects regardless of which part we saw. Playing around with perception on this scope would create interesting stories. Cropping, framming, and putting the point of interest on certain side sometimes will be interpreted differently. In one picture, the visible portions are the introduction and the hidden fragments will become a boundless narratives.

ERADIATE
Wherever there is light, one can photograph We are able see objects because they reflect light into our eyes. But in certain condition, light transmission can be seen through a medium. We see it through morning dew on a foliage, through the perforation of leaves and branches, light that come through crevice of old rooftile, or from a bulb that giving off light. Colours are generated from the movement of light, despite it is a natural one or artificial. Light also can be used as photography objects, it could form patterns or shape with some kind of technique. Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and we will know the key to photography. In nature, light creates the color. In the picture, color creates the light.

VIEWPOINT
See it differently On a road surrounded by skyscrappers in a bussiness district area, tourists upturned their gaze to find the top of a building. On the high level in apartment, a resident looking down through the void to find pattern that created by balustrade of typical floor. An artsit tilts his head when he observing the object, then he painted it in a certain way, rotated, flipped, twisting the colour, depicts it to compel their personal reference of beautiness. There are some ways to see a scenery if we refuse to observe in normal way like standing up or sitting down. By trying to do it unconventionally while capturing the scenes, a new viewpoint which barely seen ever before will be created. We can use reflection in a puddle, convex mirror on a junction, or just simply laying down when taking a picture. Each person has unique way of seeing things and photographers have their own way to tell a story.

IRIDESCENT
Peer into nature’s wondrous kaleidoscope Our perception of colours in the nature has never been a rigid definition. There are rooms for assumption that related to spesific objects. Each colour brilliantly tell different messages, and natural spectrum somehow sing the note correctly. Blue of the sky differ from blue of the sea, green on the bamboo stalk differ from its leaves, and human eye perfectly capture colour and the shades. Red of a rose or red of a bindi on woman tell us celebration, sweet moment, and happiness. But red colour dress tell us sensuality, a daring lady. What would you think if the rose, the bindi, and the dress were black or white? There is sense formed by the object and its colour. Surely, answer of above-mentioned question shall have own ‘spectrum’ if we were to describe it carefully by varied keywords. We rarely see a stand-alone colour, it would adjoin with another colour as combination and even sometimes you can see all colours simultaneously, on a surface of thin soap bubble, underside of compact disc, or on a rainbow. Only if there are eyes to capture and appreciate spectrum, a definition of an object can be thought of.

EPOCH
Let your mind tells the story By default, people tend to prejudice against anything they see, unconditionally. Character of person they just met, age of an object they just held, history of a place they just entered. On a subconcious level, our mind attempts to create image and gauge to give conclusions, based on personal experience we had. Labeling on something by pair of eyes make one definition. Two, three, eight pairs of eyes on the exact location will generate another definitions, distinct assumption, all the more lovable. Sometimes there is no explanation how people judge it, might be depending on where they stand, how they see it, even their current mood. Therefore, it creates multilabel, multi interpretation, and misjudgement. A picture shows a kid in pale clothes staring into blank sky, is she enjoying the color? is she missed her late grandpa? or maybe she is just feel bored, who knows. On the moment a picture was taken, ambience is created, expression is captured, history of an object is deffered. The picture would be able to tell only one story, a story that being imposed by the photographer.

DINKY
Playing with the scale Unless it is being shown right before our eyes, we cannot really tell the scale of an object. It can be tricky when two objects being shown side by side in a picture, although sometimes it appears to be unique and interesting, a juxtaposition. Some people would not know how big is Eiffel tower if it is isolated or stand-alone, being shown contextless. Sense of scale start to arise when its surrounding present: buildings far behind, row of trees at the boulevard, and tourists as human scale. Conversely, small objects or creatures in a picture without context will make people fell intrigued until they see them perch on a known-flower. How big is a tree? how small is drop of water? isn’t it a relative thing? Size, in a way is a consensus with defined context.

ORDERLINESS
Chaos is just patterns we have not recognized Sometimes we see distant clouds as animals, symbols, or body parts. There are moments when eyes and brain perceive its shape as spesific object. It tries to find a well-known things to relate to, a pattern. Naturally we recognize and searching for an orderliness, our brain will perpetually attempt to find relations from a chaos. Tangible things that repeated and well-ordered would become patterns, but oftentimes those patterns cannot be caught although they are physically exist, somewhere. There are certain distance to capture a scheme, some different ways to appreciate them. Windows on a building facade, flower petals surround the pistil, colours of vehicles in a traffic jam, or flock of birds move in unison are just plain objects if we see them partially. By photograph, we are able to catch elements as pattern by take it from adequate distance and by crop it wisely. There is a familiar feeling from repeated things and sublimity from a regularity.
