Pocoyó™ is a very cute, curious, fun loving, friendly child who is always into something new.

Pocoyó™ is about a young boy’s discovery of the world around him. A world that is both simple and extraordinary, where anything can happen if your imagination is big enough.

Pocoyó™ is about “Learning Through Laughter™”.

The show is all about a little boy’s discoveries of the world around him, with his inseparable group of friends. Curiosity, honesty, interest, tolerance, respect and love are some of the unwavering human values reflected in every episode.

Pocoyó™ is a pre–school series comprising educational, fun episodes which depict a range of situations in a world of gestures, colours, shapes, and music, and featuring high–impact visual language.

DESIGN BESTSELLING SUCCESSES

Pocoyó™, the Spanish Deck of Cards design or the BIC Cristal ballpoint pen are some of the designs analyzed in “Great Successes in Design” (“Diseño, Grandes Éxitos”). The final exposition in the series about design and innovation created by the Spanish Society ddi and the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid.

Through the analysis of the biggest bestsellers in history, the exposition looks to highlight the emotion component that makes the difference, and converts it into a smashing success.

POCOYÓ™ AT THE WAX MUSEUM

Pocoyó™ and his friends, Elly and Pato now have their own figures on display in Madrid’s Wax Museum since July of 2022. This is the first time an animated character has been added to the exhibition hall. Another surprising aspect is that Pocoyó™ and his friends are “life–sized”, resulting in Elly being the largest figure ever put on display at the museum. She stands an inspiring 2.15 meters tall!

In order to accommodate Pocoyó™ and his inseparable companions, the Museum has created the new Imagination Room (“Sala Imagina”), which will be dedicated to Children. Specifically, with these figures, the Madrid Wax Museum recognizes the success of the character, created by Zinkia, as one of the most important ambassadors of Spanish Animation the world over, and celebrates his 20th anniversary year.

POCOYÓ™ FOREST

Pocoyó™ and his friends have set themselves a goal: help to reforest the Gran Canary Island and join in the fight against Climate Change.

How so?

The goal is to plant a tree for every child born on the Canary Islands since 2020. Zinkia & Koyi have already planted over 1000 of these native species, but Pocoyó™ & Gran Canary Island need your help, and collective efforts. Are you up for the challenge?

POCOYÓ™ ISLA DRAGÓN

Pocoyó™ one of the first and most loved characters by toddlers and young children everywhere, presents “Isla Dragón”(Dragon Island); a co–production of the Grand Canary Government via their Tourism Ministry, to promote the island as an ideal destination for international families.

The latest released episode of the series, created by the Spanish Production Company, Zinkia, highlights some of the most emblematic destinations on the Gran Canary Island and marks a milestone in the history of the Brand, in that for the first time, the traditional white background is substituted for real footage of these places.

POCOYÓ™ 20th ANNIVERSARY

In the two decades since its inception and creation, Pocoyó™ has converted itself into much more than a Brand: Pocoyó™ is now a Pop Icon.

“We want to form part of our children’s favorite childhood memories”. This manifest, from the show’s creators, which served as the driving force in its creation, in addition to being achieved, has made it true for millions of children world–wide to have Pocoyó™ as their first loved character. It is now the Generation Z and Digital Natives that are turning those memories into their reality.

An anniversary that is serving to introduce novelties into the series, new formats and tributes to their idol that transcends generations, and serves as an inspiration in the fashion, technology, and creative spaces. A trajectory that has won us more than 40 international awards, including a Cristal Annecy, and a BAFTA, both of which for Best Animated Series.

Ever since Pocoyó™ made his first on–screen appearance back in 2005, the series has captured the hearts of both children and adults alike with his adventures in learning and laughter, together with his friends. As a way of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the creation of this adorable character, we have decided to add 4 new styles available for production, which will permit many more uses and opportunities to personalize consumer products.
