Session Information Please call 2-4 weeks in advance for best time selection. Your session fee covers the photographers time, creative talent and exclusive artistic editing of the images. You should expect to see 30+ images from your session. All edited images will be posted online in a password protected gallery for your consideration. The gallery will remain active for 2 weeks. We highly recommend that you plan a design consult with us before you start your plan. This way we can get to know each other, Which will assist us in planning your portraits. It will also give you a chance to view some of our products and we will assist you in planning your wardrobe.
Payment and Delivery Portrait orders require a down payment of half of the total, the remaining balance will be due upon delivery. Most portraits will be ready in about 2 weeks, however, some specialty items, Wall portraits and portraits requiring extensive retouching may take up to 5 weeks.
Your Precious Memories Baby Plan will Include: Premier: Newborn Session (taken at 2-3 weeks) 3, 6, 9, & 12 month Baby Sessions and a Family Session, must be completed by 18 months. 1 8x8 Easel Portrait from each Baby Session. An 8x8 LayFlat Album w/5 Images from each Baby Session to be delivered at the end of the Plan.
Premium: 4 Sessions of Baby, 1 family session, must be completed by 18 months. 1 8x10 Gift Portrait from each session. An 8x8 LayFlat Album w/5 images from each Baby session to be delivered at the end of the plan.
Prime: 4 Sessions of Baby, 1 Family Session, must be
completed by 18 mo.
1-8x8 Easel Portrait from each baby session, 1 11x14 Wall Portrait from any session to be delivered on completion of the plan.
Precious: 3 Sessions of Baby 3,6 & 12 months, 1 Family Session, must be completed by 18 months. 1 8x20 Framed Panel with 1 5x5 portrait from each of the baby sessions to show the baby’s growth and progression. All Baby Sessions are taken in the studio on a hand painted soft neutral background, they are scheduled for 1 hour, rarely is the whole hour needed. Most babies only last about 15 to 20 minutes so we work fast to capture them at their best. You may add Mom, Dad or siblings to any session, we suggest Mom at 3 or 6 months, and Dad and/or siblings at 9 or 12mo.
All Portrait orders made while on the plan will be at 10% off our regular studio price list.
Planning Your Portrait Session Scheduling Your Appointment Keep your child’s best time of day in mind when scheduling. Please call 2-4 weeks in advance for best time selections. Reschedule if your child is not feeling his or her best on the day of your appointment. We understand that illness can occur suddenly and would rather assist you in rescheduling than making your baby even more uncomfortable. It is best to leave siblings at home in order to give your undivided attention to the baby being photographed and to keep them from being distracted. If you must bring them with you, we have a play room set up for them. There is no need to arrive early for your appointment. We will schedule one hour for the session and rarely does it take that long. There will be plenty of time for dressing, changing and feeding.
Clothing: Keep clothing simple. Bubble suits, rompers, dresses or shortall outfits in white or solid soft pastels are recommended. We love to see little bare feet, shoes & socks are not needed. Some socks might leave impressions on ankles, it is a good idea to take socks and shoes off before arriving at the studio. Avoid, big bulky outfits like jeans and sweaters, bold or bright colors and patterns. White is always our first choice and helps show off your baby’s sweet face and features. Soft pastels and light khaki are also appropriate. We strongly recommend one outfit per session.
Style: Collarless outfits work best with least fuss but since most styles do have collars, we suggest that you take a few minutes before coming to the studio to stitch the collar down. Try to avoid large collars until your baby is sitting alone well. Have clothes pressed before arriving. You will have plenty of time to dress your baby at the studio.
Portrait Selection A screening appointment will be made for 5 to 7 days from the session. You will watch a video slideshow to music with your images. In the event that you are unable to make your selections at that time, you may check out the proof catalog with a deposit of $250.00. You will then have two weeks to look over the images and make your order. You will also receive a link to your personal online gallery, available for viewing for the two weeks. These images are all professionally edited to bring out your very best. During this time, share your images with friends and family, and when you're ready to order, I encourage you to come to the studio for a personal ordering session. Here you can see all the products in person, and we'll talk about what you are envisioning for your home. I want you to be completely happy with your final product, and there's no better way to make that happen than by working together!
Requirements A deposit of $150.00 is required to hold your first appointment. The balance of the Plan is due at your first portrait session. Deposits are non-refundable, however, it can be applied to future sessions and/or purchases. The Plan must be completed by the time the baby is 18 months old. Plans that are not completed on time will forfeit the Family Session. A guarantee of $50.00 is required for each session, usually with a check or credit card info. The guarantee amount will be held until the appointment date and will only be deposited if proper notification is not received of a need to reschedule.
