I

am an architectural graduate with a few years practical experience in interior design firm and a strong sense in visualisation. In my previous experience, I have been helping design teams and companies accomplished tasks and deliverables in high level standards and overcome communication barriers with oversea clients and organisations by utilising my earnest personality and my multi-lingual capability. I have hands-on knowledge of front to end design process including preparing town planning documents, preparing business development and concept design presentations, spatial planning, contacting and corresponding with clients, consultants and suppliers for design objects and materials, detailing joinery and fit-outs, reviewing shop drawings and participating in site-inspection. My greatset strength lies in my conscientious personality and my ability to take tasks and then use my creative skills to turn them into high quality deliverables and align with company standards. My strength also lies in my sympathy as a designer who always put him/herself into others’ shoes, to analyse and solve problems. Having worked as an all-round in the office, I am well across working in teams with different projects and phases, and various external and internal consultants.

We are not always Perfect Course work Design Thesis Dwelling design for living quality improvement Target for People with disability “See through Home for people with hearing impairment

AutoCAD for 2D drawings, Rhino for 3D drawings, Adobe Design Suite for image rendering and presentation The thesis has two parts. The first part was working with NDIS and investigating the available and affordable housing (apartment and town houses) in the market and analysing and rating their compatibility for users with disabilities based on their floor plans, material use etc. The second part was about choosing two vacant sites and designing apartment and townhouse floor plans for specified impairment users to use. Researches and consideration of special requirement of space that specified impairment people need must comply into the layout design as well as material consideration.

The Sprout Design Studio E Public building design for performers

My topic – the ‘Sprout’ for dancing school

AutoCAD for 2D drawings, Rhino for 3D drawings, Adobe Design Suite for image rendering and presentation The studio is aiming on examine the architecture and the stage design in experiencing of space, time, atmosphere and senses. Key idea is understanding the relationship between body and context, both physically and socially. The Dancing school I proposed was located on the North Wharf. A concrete building with stretch-out windows and balcony. The idea that I want to convey from the design was about the ‘Breakout’ power deliver by dancers when they dance. Internal spatial experience was like an unfolding ribbon and represents front-to-end choreography. Idea of semi-transparent glass was proposed to use for internal division to create semiopen and semi-private space for the occupants. Other spot on features such as the rehearsal stage with window at the back of stage, was designed for the intend to perform in the public event when they were practicing.

Gift to the City Design Studio D Conceptual design for installation and artwork curation for 5 designated artists and one of their artworks

AutoCAD for 2D drawings, Rhino for 3D drawings, Adobe Design Suite for image rendering and presentation This is a conceptual studio aiming on experimenting and discussing the geo-spatial impact on artwork display and how multiple backgrounds would be felt through the project. 5 artworks were chosen from Shaun Gladwell, Mark Titchner, Eli Sudback, Liam Gillick and Emily Floyd. Inspired by one of profound museum curator Sarah Tutton, my proposal of artwork display curation was ambiguous the relationship among artwork, museum (as container) and site and intent to make people have direct experience between the artworks and local environments. I was also intending to emphasis the feeling for audience that the artwork has a right reason for that certain place – a gift to the city.
