Pinoy Komiks: An Anthology of Filipino Indie Comics
The Pretender
Noel Pascual The title may scream the Foo Fighters’ classic but the storyline, while outright directionless, had no trace of pretension. Uncannily illustrated and hilariously action-packed, what you see is what you get.
Various Artists Tunes in to historical satire, folklore, and reallife struggles. Basically a compact cultural collective from some of the best indie cartoonists in the Philippines.
