Greeting in the Victorious Name of our Lord Jesus! For the last couple of months, God has been good to JMK in seeing us through some signi>icant milestones in the ministry – the Kluang and Taiwan Mission Trips, WTCs, Commencement of the COP course and the Evangelistic Thrust on Good Friday as well as Resurrection Sunday where we were blessed with salvations and re-‐dedications. On the personal level, testimonies of God’s favour and miraculous dealings in individual lives were shared by many during the testimony segment of the weekly services. Reading 2 Sam 21:15-‐22 brought in a prophetic parallel between Israel’s circumstances and the JMK situation today.

In this passage, David was at the challenging latter years of his life. It was recorded in verse 15 that “David went down together with his servants and >ight ...” This was an entirely different scenario 10 chapters earlier, where David was idling at the roof top at a time “when kings go out to battle. “ And now he was in the battle>ield, and the thought of retirement never seemed to have crossed his mind despite his age. This is a good re>lection for those of us in JMK who belong to the demographic group facing the challenging “latter” years. Our encouragement is that we should not carry thoughts of retirement from serving God and >ighting His battles. One prime reason is that the battle is currently on! In this passage, the phase, “ there was war again” was mentioned 3 times at different intervals (verses 15,18 and 19). That the spiritual warfare is already on today and is a continuing one is a stark reality to be grasped! A second observation gathered from the passage was that David’s life was saved by one of the young warriors who went to the battle>ield with him when a a Philistine giant tried to kill David when his physical weakness became evident. In fact, it was recorded that many more young men from David’s army rose up as “Giant Slayers “, an accolade held only by David in his younger days. We see a generation of courageous, dedicated and anointed young warriors had risen up in those days. Con%nue on Pg 3 ...

The Favor of God upon us - Pastor Steven and Sis Angeline -
Dear Saints in Christ, who belong to the family of Jesus My King. I thank God for each of you in your prayer and financial contributions for the extensions of the kingdom of God. In our last prayer meeting, the Holy Spirit reminded me that Jesus My King is a Prophetic Church with an Apostolic Mandate. This is a call from God and this call will stretch our faith, participation and rather than indulging in idleness, we are busy about the kingdom. There is a stretch in our finances, but we will pursue the kingdom and fulfill God’s purposes. Faith is a risk. We need to be careful that we do not bring faith under a common sense approach. Faith must remain above our “head knowledge” to be active in the spirit, the same as a fish must be in water to be alive. This is the reason why some people’s faith becomes inactive. Once we have prayed in faith, we have to keep faith afloat in the Spirit, so then; this faith will release the spiritual power and strength to bring to pass the prayers. This is the way I walk in the Spirit believing God to provide my needs as well for all ministry projects. It is with the same spirit of faith, our entire leadership team is required to walk by heaven – “The just will live by faith” (Romans 1:17). Do not get discouraged by your circumstances. Walk by faith. Keep your heart above offence. The enemy will find all gaps to steal some hearts. Worship the Lord and keep the fire burning. Walk in 2 love and encourage one another. The eyes of the Lord are watching over all. The secret motives of the hearts will be revealed. Let us believe God for His healing power. Pray for one another. Aren’t we seeing a breed of JMK’s young warriors emerging from that segment at the left corner of the church auditorium week after week? The King’s Generation is rising up! Amen! At this juncture of your reading, may I request you to lift your hands up and utter a declaration in Jesus’ name that our youth will rise up to the challenges of the current times! May our sons and daughters prophesy and move in the power of the Holy Spirit into the destinies God has pre-‐destined them for! Amen! Dear Brothers and Sisters, there are always jobs to be done by everyone and anyone in JMK. The old guards need not grow weary and sleepy. The younger ones need not feel small and intimidated. Rise up to battle positions the Lord has meant for us to be stationed, whether it is at the support level or the offensive level. Lets us all incline our ears to hear the beats of the war drums and be ever-‐ready to be used by God as His warriors! Amen!
