A story was told of a loving father who pampers his children a great deal. Every evening when he comes home from work, he will, without fail, have something in his hands he bought for the children, be it toys, their favourite ice cream or tidbits or other surprises. The moment the children hear the opening of the door, they will run to meet their father and their entire attention will be channeled to their father’s hands to see what he has got for them. There comes a day when the father is a little late home and is not able to buy anything. When he opens the door that day, the children, as usual, rush to him but when they look at his empty hands, all of them withdraw from him, ignoring him and go back to do their own things. This is not so much a story about the failure of a pampering father, but a reflection of the way many believers are treating the Heavenly Father in their prayer journey. They are seeking God’s hands so much that they do not seek His face. What matters to them is simply asking and getting things from the Father. When prayers are not answered, meeting God becomes an option. While it is not wrong to ask God for things and favour, but isn’t it sad when our sole objective in the Christian journey is just to ask for things, for favours, for “what God can do for me?” Many have downgraded their relationship with the Father as one that seeing Him as an ATM or Dispenser of goodness, grace and favours. In Matt 6:33 the Lord Jesus clearly distinguishes between 2 specifics that we can seek after: First, The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and second, “all these things”. He also allocate a value and priority to the one that He wishes all believers, or in fact, all man should seek after. There is a bigger preoccupation in prayer than just myopically focusing on freshly needs and desires. This pre-occupation is immersing in a communicating relationship with the God of heaven, worshipping Him and engaging in serving Him. Prayer is seeking God’s face, a desire to know His being, a longing to Continue on Pg 3...

JMK’s Youth Camp By Brother Jeconiah Santiago Theme of Camp: King's Generation 1 Peter 2:9 “ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

On the 1st and 2nd of December 2016, the youth from the King’s Generation (the youth wing of JMK) were all tuned up to attend the Youth Camp, specially organised for them. Many of the youths who attended the camp were touched and moved by the power of God manifested during our worship sessions. With the theme "King's Generation" the youths received a special Word from our guest speaker, Pastor Melvyn as well as from brother James Diamante, JMK’s Music Director. We were equally blessed during our morning devotions led by brother John Vinod, who came to join us all the way from Malaysia. Pastor Melvyn also answered the youth's question on how to live as a generation as mentioned in 1 Peter 2:9 and also how we can touch the lives of other people out there who are lost, especially the youths who are the imperative generation in the end times. Some of the youths were also asking if it is possible to do mission trips with just the youths. Apart from worship, sharing and preaching sessions, the youths also enjoyed greatly in fellowshipping and bonding with one another through games, competition and winning prizes along the way.

It is our prayer to see more youths sign up for next year's youth camp to receive impartations and revelation of their destinies set by God. All Glory goes to God alone!! Amen!

School Of Worship By Brother James Diamante We are progressing as sons and daughters of the most high in the journey God has set before us. There is an echo that resounds from heaven this year upon the whole church to pray and seek God. A call from heaven to push the darkness by fervently praying and eagerly desiring to be like Christ. We can never be a prayerful person if we are not a worshiper first. In the Bible, prophets and true followers of God knew how to worship. In worship we get close to God, and as a result, God reveals His heart and secrets to us from the abundance of His heart. Indeed there is a call to worship Him, to give Him the praises that He deserves. In March 2017, we are launching the School Of Worship (a wing ministry of College of Prophets) for 3 months. The objective of this school is to raise up lovers of God, passionate sons and daughters, warriors of the Most High, builders of His house through worship and obedience, and to be His mouthpiece and learn to be prophetic in worship. The school is open for everyone to sign up, whether you are in a worship team or not, everybody is invited. The focus is towards a worship that pleases the heart of God. It is crucial in the last days not just to know discipleship but also to become worshipping disciples who are intimate with Him and obedient to His voice. This school will unfold to the students the revelations and mysteries of worship – to be prophetic in worship, and understand the role this act of worship or rather posture of the heart plays in the last days. I sincerely encourage people who are hungry for God, desperate to know His heart, worshipers and those who want to know and experience more on worship to join this school. It will be a blessing to each individual and to the body of Christ. Amen!

reach into His heart, an intention to understand His concerns, His agenda, His plans and His destiny for us, for the church, and for the world! Let’s get to another scene of the story we read earlier. The loving father comes home with a bundle of treats in his hands for his children. The moment he opens the door, each of the children looks into the face of the father, one of them jumps up to be embraced by him in mid-air, causing the gifts in his hands to fall to the floor; another held tight to his thigh in anticipation for a turn to embrace the father. Wow! What a refreshing change of scene. The focus of attention of the children is now on the father as a person, the gifts in his hands are secondary and who cares if they fall to the floor when all they want is to sink into the embrace of the father! Dear Brothers and Sisters, let's refocus our prayer directions, re-aligned our prayer priorities and let added things be added things. Go for the main course - His Kingdom and His righteousness! Amen!
