We have just gone pass the 1-month mark into 2016, hopefully still with the passion ignited during the 1st 7 days of Fasting and Prayer. The passion to draw close to our Heavenly Father in this “one more year” that He has designated. The passion to put Him first and obey all His revealed purposes for our lives. The passion to walk in His covenanted relationship and favour!

On 1st January 2016, I had a dream in which I was brought to a huge, majestic and beautiful waterfall. I asked the One who brought me there, (Whom I presumed to be the Lord), “Why am I brought here? Yes, I am impressed by Your creations, and have always been giving You thanks and praises for all of them.”

The voice then just said, “ Take a closer look”. Immediately it seems a zoom-in button was pressed, and my vision was focused into the middle portion of the waterfall where I saw a small rock protruding from the sheets of falling water, breaking that portion of the flow into two.

Then the voice immediately continued, “ I am going to increase the intensity of the flow to break the rock”. I then awoke.

As I sought His wisdom to understand the dream, it became clear to me there were a few things He wanted to show me and probably us all.

Firstly, not to focus on the surface, the outward and the externals. A distant view of the waterfall showed a beautiful majestic scene, but a closer look revealed the obtrusive rock. We need to go beyond the mere activities of church attendances, activities and evaluate the quality of our Christian life, whether it is “showmanship” based or “God’s presence” based.

Secondly, I was to “draw closer” to Him, and only by doing so, I would be shown my real need, my shortcomings, or things that obstruct the flow of God’s presence in my life. The very one reason for the prophetic emphasis to grow real close to God this year is because He is going to cleanse the church and remove the obstructions impeding the flow of His presence!

Thirdly, God revealed His very heart’s intention to have the “rocks of obstruction” removed. And He will do that with intensity in full array of His power and glory in supernatural proportions. To be ready to receive the intensity of His actions, we have to also increase the intensity of our prayer and abiding by developing an “end-time” prayer life!

Dear Brothers and Sister, may God SHOW us, CLEAN us and USE us as we draw close to Him throughout our journey in 2016!

Prophetic Word for JMK 2016 - by Sis Angeline Francis

Greetings in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

Year 2016 is a blessed year for Jesus My King Church. God's Word for us this year is: 2016 is the year of Covenanted Favour Covenanted favour means that God will keep His covenant with us and pour favour into our lives if we walk in His covenant. It is a two way process. When the church started in 2012, God gave His word that the sanctuary will be the place where His presence, His glory will dwell always. We hear testimonies after testimonies of people who have come to our church that they were able to sense the presence of God, that strongholds have been broken, delivered from curses, victories declared! What a privilege and awesome notion that our God abides in this place. We cannot help but be filled with thankfulness, love and fire for Him and to obey and please Him, to serve Him, to fulfill His purposes. Jesus is Our King who is the first in our lives.

God has given us one more year to come closer to Him. Brothers & sisters I encourage you to enter one level up with Jesus to be close to Him. Ask the Lord to show you a new experience of walking closer with Him. As in Ps 42, ask God to give you a heart to run after Him, to love Him more than the basic elements we need such as air, water, food. Whether you are down in the valley or up in the mountain, ask God to let His spirit flow through your life and enable you to be what God wants you to be. He wants to get involved with you and shower you with His favour.

As pastor and I started fasting from the 28 of December, God has been gracious to speak to both of us via many revelations. Here are some of the revelations.

Come closer to Him Take time to build a prayerful life like how Noah built the Ark. This was a vision that I received from the Lord. I saw the Noah's Ark being built and the Holy Spirit telling me that just as how Noah obeyed and build the Ark to save himself and His family from the flood, build yourself an Ark, which is a building up a prayerful life as this will save us from the coming perilous times. Have a worshipping, prayerful lifestyle.

Train yourself to hear the voice of the Lord so that you can obey Him (Deu 4:30). Anchor yourself in the Word and be rooted and built in Him (Col 2: 6-7). Develop an End-time prayer life. Pray so that you can escape. Develop and possess a praying spirit. Don't be weighed down by worldly worries and cares pertaining to the business of this life. Endure so that we can receive what's promised. Keep awake, watch out at all times to escape all these tribulation (Luke 21:34-36). Disobedience gives power to the prince of the air so start to repent and worship Him (Eph 2:1).

Stay Ready - Spiritual Fitness, be filled in the Holy Spirit, fight against spiritual coldness

Stay Faithful - Serve Him, be fruitful

Stay in Wisdom

Prophetic Word for JMK 2016 ... Con$nue from Pg 2 This is the Season for Women to Rise Up God gave me this scripture from Micah 4:13 (AMP) “Arise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion! For I will make your horn iron And I will make your hoofs bronze; That you may beat many peoples in pieces [trampling down your enemies]" This is the season in which God wants women to rise up and where the beauty and power of women is to be displayed. To be women of Prayer, courage and influence. A time when God will give a command and an army of women who proclaim the good news will rise up. They will be armed with strength, wisdom, discernment and understanding that the true enemy has been Satan and not men. So sisters, embrace your femininity as being a blessing and a gift from God and go forward!

God will speed up our Spiritual Growth In another vision I saw myself and some church members travelling on a speeding train. The Holy Spirit spoke to me that God is going to speed up our walk with God. In comparison to, a few years ago I had a vision where pastor, a few passengers and me were travelling in a bus while we saw multitude of people walking forward. The Holy Spirit spoke to me that we are the privileged ones to travel faster than the rest to reach God. And now it is a train. So God is going to expedite our spiritual growth and in the supernatural realm.

Shiny Garment for His people God has heard our cry to want Him to change us and mold us to what He wants us to be. Last year Pastor Steven preached on the topic: "Show Me, Change Me, Use Me". And this is the cry of JMK members to God, to show us areas of our lives that need to be cut off and to ask God to change us to be pure vessels worthy of serving Him. It is not the gift but the fruit that God wants. So in this vision I saw a shiny bridal garment that God wanted me to change into and I knew that this year God will fulfill my cry to Him to change me to what He wants me to be. Praise God. And this is the same for JMK members.. that we will be new creations worthy for His purposes.

God will restore and reveal to His faithful people. God will turn things around for you. His favour will come in the End-times. Favour comes with obedience. Grace is given but favour comes with walking with God just like Abraham, Joseph and Noah. Favour releases goodness of life by God. So brothers and sisters as we look forward to the rest of the year, with expectations of His favour filling our lives to the brim, let our lips Praise Him and honour Him each day of our lives.
