DAY 2 – Siena We drive to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for a guided tour, which includes its stunning square – the Piazza del Campo. Fashioned from black and white marble, Siena’s cathedral, or Duomo, features delicate and intricate carvings, some by Michelangelo himself. (B,D)

In your free time, perhaps experience the buzz of the Piazza della Signoria or a crossing of the Arno River over the Ponte Vecchio. This afternooon is free for you to explore Arezzo further, perhaps visit Arezzo’s Piazza Grande, one of Europe’s most evocative and atmospheric main squares, or step inside the Basilica di San Francesco to see the Legends of the True Cross frescoes by Piero della Francesca.
