DAY 3 – Suomenlinna Fortress Today we are transported back in time as we take a short ferry ride from the mainland to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Suomenlinna Fortress. With our expert guide we explore its four bastions, deep connecting tunnels, a turquoise-domed dual-use church and lighthouse, the only Second World War-era submarine remaining in Finland, plus lakes, gardens and a beach. In the afternoon you’ll have free time to explore it further or return to the city. (B)
