Komatsu Europe International announces the commercial availability of hybrid technology for the European construction machinery market. The HB215LC-1 offers to customers the benefits that make the Komatsu Dash 8 hydraulic excavators world renowned: low operating costs, first class operator comfort, highest safety standards and extreme reliability. The HB215LC-1 is powered by the Komatsu Hybrid System, which includes Komatsu’s recently developed electric swing motor, power generator motor, capacitor and a 141 hp (104 kW) diesel engine. Komatsu developed its revolutionary hybrid system to work on the principle of swing energy regeneration and energy storage using the Komatsu Ultra Capacitor system. Komatsu’s Ultra Capacitors provide fast energy storage and instantaneous power transmission. The cabin, boom and arm, undercarriage and revo frame, as well as the “Look and feel” of the new machine are practically identical as on a standard Komatsu PC210-8.

with helical blades The ”Helical Twin Shaft Mixer” by Cifa differs from conventional mixers because the horizontal twin shaft system with helical blades and standard blades guarantees a significant decrease in concrete mixing times, less wear and tear on the blades, booms and mixing vat, and better homogenization of the concrete. The range of Cifa mixers will consist of four models. In addition to the 2.25 m3/cycle mixer, Cifa will also produce a mixer that guarantees an output of 3 m3/cycle, a mixer that can produce 1.5 cubic meters of concrete for each cycle, and a mixer model that can produce around 1m3 per cycle. The larger mixer will be installed on large systems such as the Cifamix 120, while the 1.5 m3/cycle and 1 m3/cycle models will be used for more compact systems in the Cifamoove line. EC 255

The surface of the photovoltaic panels must be kept clean. The cleaner for panels WP respond to market demands. Through the nozzles that spray water, scratch resistant brushes and forced-air drying, it performs an accurate cleaning of panels. It is equipped with ultrasound sensors which automatically maintain a constant distance of the brushes, avoiding collisions with Panel. Applied on Canginibenne articulated arm, it can reach a height of 4 meters. The front wheel is hydraulically adjustable and allows greater stability on uneven terrain. If mounted on mini-midi excavators, ultrasonic sensors transmit a beeping and light that allow the operator to maintain a constant distance between brushes and Panel. The Cangini screening buckets have been joined by a new and simpler screening unit to be replaced when the need arises to replace the material thickness. A new proprietary technology studied and designed to cut screen replacement times. The new blade design provides higher output and increases the quantity of screened material. In a continually changing market like aerial platforms one, CTE has launched today a new truck-mounted platform in its ZED line. The new ZED 21 JH represents the meeting between the peculiarities of the ZED 21 J (21 m working height with jib 2.1 m), the CTE patented stabilization system with connecting rods, and the concept of increased flow presented recently with the ZED 20 CSH. Caterpillar Inc. has received notification from the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) that it has formally approved the company’s planned acquisition of ERA Mining Machinery Limited (ERA). The new Socage DAJ332 that is installed on a 7.5 ton Mitsubishi Canter truck is characterized by a 3850 mm wheelbase. The Socage platform DAJ332 is able to reach 32 m of maximum working height with a SWL of 225 kg and a maximum outreach of 20 m loading 80 kg (17.8 m with 225 kg). The hydraulic jib, connected to the last extension of the telescopic arm, which supports the aluminum basket, is able to perform a vertical movement from -90° to +15°. 4 NEW TELEHANDLERS Jlg Industries launches new series of telehandlers: in total four new models. The new range features standard 4-speed Powershift transmission and it is equipped with a Tier IIIB compliant Deutz 75kW engine and with comprehensive features (such as a reversible engine fan). The new range of Jlg handlers can be tailored for specific work purposes thanks to a wide variety of tools and attachments. The 3706 and 3707 have a lift capacity of 3.7 tons with either 6.1m or 7.3m maximum reach. Bell Equipment’s popular and proven D-series Articulated Dump Truck may have been first launched in 2002. Currently in its Mark 7 generation, the B40D and B45D models in particular have been fitted with new engines to deliver increased power and better driveline tuning to keep these popular workhorses out in front as class leaders. The new Mk7 generation ADTs are remarkably improved. During demonstrations at various customer sites, where the truck competed against other manufacturer’s trucks, the Bell B40D Mark 7 outperformed in terms of production by 6% and also used 13% less fuel. Similarly the B45D, which has a 9% power increase from 350kW to 380kW, has achieved significant fuel savings compared to competitor trucks working in a mining application.
The Cased Augered Pile combines the advantages of CFA technology with those deriving from using casing, making CAP the most convenient piling method for construction in urban areas. In fact, no noise, shocks or vibrations are induced when the system is performed and the equipment is fully sound–proofed as required by safety legislation. For this reason the system permits to work very closely to existing structures and operation in restricted areas. The Cased Auger and Secant Piles (CAP/CSP) performance, as well as quality and safety standards, have been improved thanks to devices fitted on the SR-100 in CSP version, one of Soilmec top models for this technology. In order to ensure safety on the job-site, the target has been to improve and simplify the conveying system. This need had been expressed by some of their most important customers, especially in Europe and Asia. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
The SYG 5260 THB is a truck-mounted concrete pump in the 30-metre category with five placing boom arms. The Sany RZ5 placing boom supplements the advantages offered by the roll fold below with a Zfold exactly where it makes sense in use: on the fifth arm with the end hose, the “flyer”. The kinematics of the flyer of approx. 270° allow for maximum flexibility while ensuring a range with very good slip characteristics. The newly designed self-supporting low-distortion basic frame with X support at the front and a straight support at the rear allows for a small space requirement for deployment while ensuring absolute stability. It is mounted on a standard fouraxle chassis with a total weight of 27.5 tonnes. The result is a compact yet manoeuvrable machine with little overhang. ItALIAn PLAtFORm In tHE nEtHERLAnDS Bought last July by the Dutch Sijtsma Group from Allift Michielsens NV in Antwerp, the Volvo-mounted E320PXJ by GSR was put to work at once on the construction of a wind turbine at Leeuwarden (NL). In addition to producing electricity, this innovative structure also captures humidity from the air to produce water. Very satisfied with the performance of his new 32-metre platform is Aant Buisman, sales manager of Sijtsma, which supplies a vast array of services in the field of public and private buildings, including construction and maintenance work, painting, paving, insulation and façade cleaning. The company has a busy schedule of contracts to manage, and its vehicles and equipment are used very frequently and intensely, but fortunately the E320PXJ, like all GSR products, is particularly robust, reliable and easy to use, even for less expert operators. An outreach of 20 metres, a load capacity of 280 kg and reduced stabilization make it possible to work even in narrow streets for chimney maintenance. This recent purchase of the E320PXJ confirms the trust of the Sijtsma Group in GSR products, which are now present in increasing numbers in its vehicle fleet, used not only for the Dutch company’s own jobs but also available for hire. LIEBHERR WORKIng In DUBAI An area is being specially dredged and vibrocompacted to form the artificial islands “Pearl Jumeirah” which is a residential villa project in the heart of Dubai. This unique community is composed of 50 integrated residential clusters, amid landscaped environs and canals. The general contract for the project was awarded to Van Oord which engaged the company NSCC Foundation Engineering to compact an area of 5,000,000 m³. For this project NSCC chose three Liebherr duty cycle crawler cranes, type HS 885 HD in vibrocompaction application, two HS with tandem rigs and one HS with a single rig. The three Liebherr duty cycle crawler cranes are compacting the dredged sand to prepare the ground for the construction. –

cOmPEtItIVE BREAKER Intermat 2012 is the occasion for Promove to present the new XP2000, a 2-ton hydraulic hammer, specifically designed to fit excavators in the 22-32 ton class, though filling the gap between XP1700 and XP2400. The new model will offer significant improvement in breaking capacity for machines in the class 24-25 ton, while it will be a lighter alternative (particularly useful in tunnelling applications) for excavators of 28-30 tons. Of course, XP2000 shares all the technical innovations recently introduced on the Promove heavy-range, like: blankfiring prevention system, adjustable frequency/impact energy, auto-greasing system, square-section percussion body with encased tie-rods for extra-long life and reducing risk of damages in case of their breakage, combined gas and oil working principle, high back pressure allowed, underwater operation kit as on option. XP2000 can be also equipped with the optional “tunnelling kit”, featuring specially hardened bushings and dustprotecting systems, to offer excellent performance and durability in the most severe tunnelling applications.

nEW WASHIng PLAnt A new mobile iron ore washing plant for Bhushan Power & Steel is delivering a substantial increase in Fe through the effective removal of alumina and silica from the feed material. Introduction of the M2500 washing plant from CDE Asia to this facility, in Orissa, India ,has resulted in an increase in Fe from 58.24% to 63.2% which delivers significant efficiency savings in downstream processes. The increase in Fe has been achieved as a result of a 37% reduction in alumina from 4.3% to 2.7% and a 32% reduction in silica from 6.6% to 4.5%.

The launch of the new TC10 sees Terex enter the micro excavator market for the first time. The new Terex TC10 provides strong competition in this major market sector, offering significant productivity benefits. To deliver the versatility required in the micro excavator market, the TC10 weighs just 1 tonne and it is only 760mm wide, making it easy to transport and to work in the smallest sites. Fitted with an optional fold-down FOPS canopy, the TC10 is able to go through most domestic doorways, thus managing to work inside houses or pass through non-accessible jobsites. Its rubber tracks exert a ground pressure of only 0.28kg.cm² (3.9psi), so there is little chance of the TC10 causing damage when travelling across delicate floors, patios or lawns. The tracks on the TC10 extend to 990mm for stability and it has zero tail-swing, leaving the operator free to concentrate on the job. The TC10 has a maximum digging depth of 1,620mm with its standard 750mm dipper and can easily load material into containers.

A 76 t transformer belonging to the StarkstromGerätebau GmbH company from Regensburg was loaded onto a platform trailer combination with 2 mobile cranes. new Russian excavatoR facility A ground breaking ceremony attended by high profile dignitaries marks the start of construction on Volvo’s 350 Million SEK excavator factory, underscoring the company’s commitment to the Russian market. The Governor of the Kaluga Region Anatoly Artamonov, the President of Volvo CE Pat Olney, and the head of Volvo CE’s Russian dealer Ferronordic, Lars Corneliusson, witnessed the ground breaking ceremony of the company’s new 350 Million SEK Russian excavator manufacturing facility. The new plant is being built in Kaluga - 150 km southwest of Moscow - and will be Volvo’s seventh excavator manufacturing facility (of a total of 16 plants globally). Building work has begun on the 15 hectares plot and, when completed, the final manufacturing area will be 20,660 m3. Six models of excavators are planned to be made at the plan ranging from the 20-tonne EC200 to the 48-tonne EC480. The first machines are due off the assembly lines next year - creating 280 new jobs in the process. “This is a considerable investment and underscores Volvo’s confidence in - and commitment to - the Russian economy,” commented the company’s President Pat Olney. –

Metso has signed a contract with MMX mining company in Brazil containing vertical grinding technology. Metso’s 14 vertical grinding mills will be assembled to the expansion of the Serra Azul iron ore project, located in São Joaquim de Bicas, Brumadinho and Igarapé, in the state of Minas Gerais, south-eastern Brazil. The value of the order will not be disclosed. “The Serra Azul project is a very important one as it consolidates the stirred milling technology in the iron ore regrinding applications” states Eduardo Kubric, Sales Director, Metso’s Mining and Construction, Brazil. After completing the assembly of the new grinding mills, the iron ore production capacity of MMX at Serra Azul will reach 24 million tons per year. Bridgestone Corporation announced that it will increase the production capacity of its Kitakyushu Plant for large and ultralarge off-the-road radial tires for construction and mining vehicles. The plan calls for production capacity to be increased by approximately 20 tons per day, to approximately 165 tons per day, in the first half of 2014. In addition, the Bridgestone Group has decided to increase its production capacity of its Saga Plant for steel cord used in large and ultralarge ORRs. INNOVATIVE POWERSPLIT TRANSMISSION Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems unveiled the R3 hydromechanical variable transmission (HVT), the first powersplit system resulting from the 50-50 joint venture between Dana and Bosch Rexroth. Initial tests on front end loaders with the new HVT powersplit systems demonstrate fuel savings in the drivetrain of up to 20 percent when compared with the same vehicle outfitted with a conventional torque converter transmission. The first in a series of HVTs, the R3 is currently undergoing field testing in numerous OEM prototype vehicles. HVTs are designed for front end loaders, graders, forestry skidders, and other offhighway applications requiring up to 265 kW. The Dana Rexroth HVT R3 improves productivity by enabling sensitive, precise vehicle positioning and stepless drive with no interrupted acceleration. The steel structure does not basically change even under the effect of 400°C of heat and retains its favourable wear characteristics with a high service life for the system. Ferro Umformtechnik can produce pipelines with a wall thickness between 5 and 10 mm. This solution is also of interest for lime and asphalt mixing works. The Toolox 33 steel scoop displayed provides this especially favourable abrasion characteristic in conjunction with the effect of heat during use. Following a serious accident, every second counts. The new Mercedes-Benz emergency call system utilises this crucial phase and can automatically notify the emergency services in the event of a serious crash. If the airbags or belt tensioners are deployed and Comand Online is connected to mobile phone, the vehicle’s exact GPS position and vehicle identification number (VIN) will be sent by sms to the Bosch Communication Center’s emergency call and service arm, with positional data also being transmitted using the DTMF method at the same time. Even if the occupants are unconsciuous or usure of exactly where they are, the services alerted by the Communication Center will be notified quickly. Furthermore, the vehicle will establish a voice connection with the Bosch Communication Center. A highly practical and useful feature in an emergency situation is that communication will take place in the language defined by the driver. It is also possible to make an emergency call manually because “Mercedes-Benz emergency call” is always the first entry in the phone book.

LATIN AMERICAN MOTORWAYS On 25th February 2012 Atlantia announced that its subsidiary, Autostrade per l’Italia, has signed the following agreements: an agreement with Argo Finanziaria for the sale of its entire 33 per cent interest in Igli, the entity that owns 29.96 per cent of Impregilo; two separate agreements with Sias by which Sias will transfer its entire 45.765 per cent interest in Autostrade Sud America (ASA) to Autostrade. Autostrade per l’Italia will grant Sias a call option on its entire 99.98 per cent interest in Autostrade Torino-Savona; an agreement with Mediobanca for the acquisition of an 8.47 per cent stake in ASA. Levostab 99 is an environmentally compatible soil stabiliser and consolidator composed of selected inorganic oxides and inert polymeric fibres. The product, developed by Levocell (Ruredil), has negligible environmental impact compared to conventional consolidation using concrete composed of inert matter and cement or lime and sometimes involving paving with a layer of asphalt. Addition of Levostab 99 to the soil alone is sufficient to guarantee compactness and durability of gravel roads without altering their colour or the ecological qualities of the “soil system”, at a lower cost than conventional solutions (concrete - asphalt paving). Levostab 99 can be used with ordinary equipment available on site, cutting costs and meeting technical specifications, something that cannot be always done with conventional stabilisation methods. ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES As a platform-based product, the TRAXX DC electric locomotive has a high degree of commonality with the multi-system TRAXX MS, the TRAXX AC and the TRAXX DE locomotives. This platform offers the highest levels of operational reliability and maintainability thanks to highly proven and standardized modular subsystems. TRAXX DC locomotives have been ordered for Italy
and Spain. While these locomotives were developed specifically for freight services with a 3kV DC supply voltage, they also have all the components required for passenger services (train busbar, UIC equipment, etc.). Renfe (Spain) awarded Bombardier with an order for 100 TRAXX F140 DC locomotives. They are equipped with the Spanish ASFA signalling system and, for the first time, with TRAXX broad gauge bogies. On its side, Trenitalia Cargo ordered 42 units of the TRAXX F160 DC from Bombardier. The locomotive has been homologated for freight transportation at a maximum speed of 160 km/h, and can be deployed for passenger operations at a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The leasing company Angel Trains also placed an order for the TRAXX F140 DC. This locomotive is equipped with the Italian SCMT systems and fulfills all operational requirements in Italy.

INVESTING IN PAVING SECTOR Caterpillar Paving Products announced the official opening of a new Customer Solutions and Learning Center in Maple Grove, Minnesota, USA. The new facility helps contractors review equipment and find answers in a convenient, professional and comfortable setting.“We continue to invest and show our long-term commitment to the paving business”, said Lieven Van Broekhoven, Worldwide Sales and Marketing Manager for Caterpillar Paving Products. The center, under development for more than a year, officially opened with the recent completion of the showroom. On display there are Caterpillar pavers, reclaimers/stabilizers, cold planers and soil and asphalt compactors. Rotors, mill bits and screeds are also available for close inspection. Interactive kiosks highlight features and benefits and provide detailed machine information in multiple languages. The Center also includes a VIP lounge and conference rooms, training classrooms, a machine training lab, an outdoor demonstration area and a Cat Paving store, featuring clothing and novelties. Significant investments are also being made at other Caterpillar Paving Products facilities. The plant in Minerbio, Italy, has been modernized, and its production capacity has been increased. LIGHTING CONTROL The Reverberi Lighting Controllers have a new “brain” , the DIM (Data Intelligent Management), that replaces the LIT units and has the following added functions: the output voltage can be set and stabilized for each phase separately; optional astrological time clock; 1 communication port RS485 to connect expansion modules; 2 RJ45 connectors to connect other devices with the I2Cbus. Standard schedules are programmed for three different places of installation: urban zones, tourist zones, highway zones. One yearly schedule can be programmed by the user. As an alternative it is possible to control the Reverberi SEC STPi power controller with a 4-20mA signal from a PC/PLC or light sensor (SDL). DATA COLLECTION International Road Federation (IRF) presented at the last edition of Intertraffic Amsterdam 2012 RADaR, a software application developed to collect the accident data in a comprehensive manner to help road authorities, traffic police, insurance firms and health authorities to reduce the rate of accidents and its impacts. The data collected by RADaR can be used by the stakeholder agencies involved in planning and design of roads as well control and management of traffic. The application can be loaded into any tablet using an Android operating system and data is recorded by means of user-friendly –

touch screen menus. The software enables the use of built in GPS, GPRS, Digital Still & Video Cameras and sound recording. Once recorded, the data can be downloaded onto a desktop or laptop at the Police Station, and the results viewed in Excel or any other common database format. The First Information Report (FIR) and other data relevant to the Police Department and Road Authorities can be readily printed or shared immediately from the downloaded data. wATErPrOOfINg mEmbrANE Among the various applications of innovative waterproofing systems in tunnelling worksites, we can mention Mapeplan TU S, developed and produced by Mapei, a PVC-P synthetic waterproofing membrane. The product is presented as a single layer membrane with orange signal layer: it can be applied as a fluid barrier in tunnel and underground structures construction (drill and blast tunnel waterproofing, open cut tunnel waterproofing, underground structures waterproofing). Mapeplan TU S, due to the special formulation achieved at Mapei laboratories, can accomplish different waterproofing requirements and the presence of the two-color signal layer (orange/black) allows to highlight any holes or tearing of the membrane during the placing phase. This solution, thanks to the high standard production level, performes both high mechanical properties and workability and welding characteristics. Acoustic monolithic panels in terracotta are one of the various solutions presented by Cir in the field of noise barriers. Each panel has four rows of alveoli. One of the two faces features soundabsorbing holes, which absorb the sound by means of a material contained in the first row of alveoli. To improve both acoustic and mechanical performance the panel sides are shaped to provide male-female interlock. One end of the panel has a gorge (or double gorge), used for the insertion of load-bearing elements. Panels can be fitted horizontally or vertically. Anchoring systems can be assembled, so beams are on sight or hidden to provide a continuous panel. Anchoring may be done “dry” using metal sections or by way of reinforced concrete casting. The panel can, on request, be painted via the application of appropriate paints. The barrier is realized with the combination of steel or concrete and brick. The structure is generally steel-made and the sound-absorbing part consists of box-like metal sheeting panel. An outer covering in cotto is provided. There are also monolithic models with reinforced concrete structural panels that incorporate sound-absorbing material and cotto in one piece.
A new roller specialist for small jobs is presented by Volvo Construction Equipment at Intermat 2012. Fitting into the 2.5 tonnes weight class, the DD25 will offer operators exceptional all-round visibility, thanks to a commanding seating position and an unobtrusive engine cover. Whether compacting forwards or in reverse, the drum edges of the machine are clearly visible, allowing precise compaction and increased safety. The ability to clearly see the work area reduces neck strain on the operator and avoids bumps and scrapes on the machine, improving safety for site personnel. The 2,450 kg (5,400 lb.) DD25 - Volvo CE adds - is a high frequency compactor that allows increased travel speeds while maintaining the correct impact spacing. Depending on application, the frequency can be adjusted, from 3,300 vpm/55 Hz to 4,000 vpm/67 Hz. Both drums are fitted with wipers made of urethane for effective cleaning and longer life, even on abrasive surfaces (urethane has a higher cut-and-tear resistance than the more commonly used rubber). Both front and rear drums feature a pressurized water system that helps eliminate asphalt pick up and damage to the pavement surface. Another major feature of the DD25 compactor is a new fuel efficient three-cylinder diesel engine which produces 24,8 kW. Thanks to a switch located in the seat, the machine will shut down the engine and apply the brakes should the operator get off the seat, maintaining safe operating conditions throughout.

Salini proceeds at a rapid pace on the extension of the B1 line of the Roman underground system. On 22nd February, in the presence of A. Aurigemma, Transport Commissioner, G. Ascarelli, chairman of Roman Underground, M. Palombi, Board Member of the Roman Underground, Salini management, the Tunnel Boring Machine nick-named “Nannarella” in honor of the Roman actress Anna Magnani, entered Ionio Station in Rome. The TBM broke down the final wall and so completed the mechanical excavation of the Conca d’OroJonio tunnel. Pietro Salini, Group Ceo, expressed his satisfaction with such achievement: “The Metro B1 project is a huge source of pride for us. The demolishing of the final wall of this tunnel demonstrates how works on this huge project, fundamental for the City, are proceeding at high speed in relation to the commitments undertaken and timetables foreseen”. The first part of the underground B1 (BolognaConca d’Oro) has already been completed and is near to its inauguration. Completion of works on the final tract Conca d’OroJonio is expected for the end of 2012.
Kapsch TrafficCom presented innovations for increased tunnel safety at the Intertraffic exhibition, in Amsterdam. The Kapsch Incident Detection System 2.0, a product for detecting traffic events, provides more efficient and proactive tunnel safety with its components Automatic Camera Calibration (ACC) and Alert Visualization (AlVis). “Up to now, calibrating cameras located inside tunnel systems have been an expensive and time-intensive activity - Kapsch highlights -. The ACC innovation makes the calibration of tunnel cameras up to ten times more accurate, while simplifying the operation”. The system is mounted on a maintenance vehicle using a standard luggage rack and can be conveniently folded away after use. In addition, the ACC enables the camera calibration process to be reduced to a minimum of the previous norm. “Older methods of calibration took up to 50 hours in an average tunnel, while the same process can be completed in a maximum of two hours with ACC”, confirmed Marcus Brown, product manager for video and sensor solutions at Kapsch.

crANEs by THE brIDGE CAET XXI, a temporary consortium formed by the Portuguese construction companies Soares da Costa, RRC (Ramalho Rosa Cobetar) and the Spanish FCC, is presently building a viaduct over the Corgo river, in the Portuguese town of Vila Real, with the collaboration of two Linden Comansa tower cranes hired to Ibergru, Linden Comansaâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s official dealer in the country. This viaduct, one of the

longest and highest in Portugal, is part of the Transmontana Highway, which will soon link the city of Oporto to the Spanish border. The Corgo Viaduct, with a length of 2,795 meters, a height from the bottom of the valley of 230 meters, and a main span of 300 meters, will run over three roads and one railway line. Pillars number 18 and 19, the highest of the whole structure, are being built by two Linden Comansa Flat-Top tower cranes, model 21 LC 400, with maximum load capacity of 18 tonnes, and erected with jib lengths of 70 meters, allowing them to load up to 5,000 kilos at the jib-end. The cranes are currently erected with a height under hook of 168 meters, but both of them will soon reach an impressive height of 207 meters. The jacking-up of the cranes from the initial height (69.2 m) has been performed by Ibergru, using a hydraulic cage J4-1 in three phases (up to 101 m, 132 m and 168 m) and, in a few weeks, the last jackingup will be carried out to reach its final height of 207 meters.

economy and high performance The new 300 Vario Fendt range has been expanded upwards with a new top model, the 313 Vario with a maximum output of 135 hp, and now covers the power range from 95 to 135 hp. The new 300 Vario tractors are powered by a 4.04-litre 4-cylinder Deutz engine with four-valve technology and a 1,600-bar common rail high-pressure injection system. The electronic engine control Edc 17, the turbocharger with electronic wastegate and the viscous fan have been adopted from the high-horsepower tractor ranges and are standard on the 300 Vario. For the new 300 Vario range, Fendt also relies on the fuelsaving Scr technology for the Tier IV interim stage. The trasmission is Vario ML 75 that ensures an efficient drive train.

high reliability Tecnoagri forklifts are manufactured using high quality profile-sections with channels sliding on rollers. They guarantee the utmost reliability even during extended and hard working periods. They are available in different models with a load capacity from 1.500 to 2.500 kg and with several lifting heights fitting various tractors. They can be equipped with one lifting cylinder in a central position, two sideways lifting cylinders (complete visibility), lateral shifting and load holder. The lifting height range is from 2500 to 4000 mm and more on demand.

Continuous merger RT 380 made up by the Italian group ROC, represents the symbol of a revolutionary raking system.The main difference compared to the most diffonded traditional rakes is represented by both the pick-up system and by the working position of the merger as to the tractor. Firs of all, ROC RT 380 lifts the crop in order then to transport it on a conveyor belt, whereas traditional rakes drag the crop on the ground up to the windrow. Secondly, unlike traditional rakes ROC RT 380 can be fastened both on the front and on the back of the tractor, driving it in this latter case with inverted drive.
