1. Please remember to dress according to our dress code for all outings and events. No shorts, no torn or dirty jeans, no sandals, nothing sleeveless, no bare midriff tops, no hoodies. Even when we are out in the community you are representing us. 2. Please bring your volunteer badge and cell phone for every outing. 3. Please contact me right away if you have signed up to help on an outing but you are unable to attend. Our outings are one-on-one and if you cannot come I must find someone to replace you or tell a resident that they cannot go. 4. Please be mindful of HIPAA laws at all times. 5. If you are helping to serve snacks for any activities, look for the purple wrist band: people wearing that band may not have ANYTHING to eat or drink. 6. Please remember to record all volunteer hours on your blue sheets in the binder. If you fill up your sheet there are extras in the inner pockets of the binders. 7. Please remember that we expect our volunteers to reflect a neat and clean appearance at all times. You are our face to the community. 8. Please help us get out the word about the benefits of being a volunteer: tell your friends and family about your experiences and encourage them to become volunteers. 9. Let us know if you have ideas about groups or organizations that we could visit to talk about our volunteer program.
