___________________________________________________________________________ 1ST XI BOYS HOCKEY The boys 1st XI hockey team got their season underway with a tight 1-0 win against Western Heights 1st XI. The game started well and the boys enjoyed some good possession and although we had some good passing and teamwork we couldn’t quite string the plays together to get in the Heights circle and pressure their defense. It wasn’t until the third quarter that Ethan Hoggard managed to score our first goal of the season with a sneaky reverse stick that the goalie failed to pick up. The boys then held out for the rest of the game to secure the win. We had a number of new players on debut for the 1st XI including Ethan Partelow who picked up our player of the day for his solid work through the game. Well done to our boys 🤩😃😀
___________________________________________________________________________ MIXED HOCKEY An awesome game last Thursday night with a 1-0 Lose. The team played their hearts out and had heaps of fun. The players linked well and have a fantastic season ahead. Stevie Lockwood was player of the day for awesome defensive play. Well done to all.🤩😃😀
