Patient Testimonial: Steven Blair, Afib patient

Can a smart watch help detect early warning signs ofatrial fibrillation (AFib)? On a spring day, Steven’s smart watch began notifying him ofa “High Heart Rate.” At the time, 45-year-old Steven Blair brushed it offas faulty software. But, one day while at his law office, Steven experienced another, more intense, episode which included shortness ofbreath and chest pain. That’s when his law partner took action and Steven received treatment at Research Medical Center under the care ofDr. Rakesh Gopinathannair (Dr. G).

"Icould not be more pleased with my outcome thus far, or the care and treatment provided to me by Dr. G and his staff. The fatigue, lack-of-focus, foggy-headedness and breathing issues are gone. Iam back to doing all ofthe things Ienjoy.”
