OUR FACILITIES The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, Home of the America’s Cup, is a spacious, multi-functional building at the foot of the Auckland Harbour Bridge in Westhaven Marina. We offer seven versatile function rooms to cater to any event, whether it be a day meeting, gala dinner, wedding or cocktail party. The RNZYS building has a distinctive nautical appearance where sundrenched decks and rooms offer superb vistas over Westhaven Marina, City, Waitemata Harbour and the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Onsite Technician - $85 per hour (minimum of 3 hours) We are able to arrange an onsite technician to assist set up & manage all audio visual for your event. We would recommend this if your event uses multiple devises, also managing sound and video presentations.

Decorations & Theming Basic room setup and linen are covered with room hire. Any additional decorations or theming can be provided at additional cost, or you are welcome to organise third party decorations.

WiFi We offer a complimentary WIFI connection onsite.

Security For large functions, we are required to hire security services at a cost of $80 per guard per hour.

DINGHY LOCKER

A striking bar with timber floors, large glass doors opening out to an extensive deck at the water’s edge of the marina. The Dinghy Locker boasts spectacular views of the harbour, marina and city lights. Primarily dedicated to club racing events, the Dinghy Locker is also available for private hire and is ideal for functions ranging from BBQs, cocktail and dinner parties, as well as corporate off-site meetings.

QUARTERDECK

Situated on the first floor, the Quarterdeck showcases elevated views over the Westhaven Marina, the Waitemata Harbour, Auckland City and the Sky Tower. The room is stunning, simple and elegant and has a large covered balcony that can be used for pre-dinner drinks or as a dancefloor. This space impresses every time.

This spacious room is popular as a conference and exhibition venue or can be used for large-scale breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktail functions. INFORMATION Prices & Members Discount All prices are subject to change, and GST inclusive unless otherwise noted. Prices are detailed at the non–member rates. RNZYS members receive a 10% discount on food prices and a 20% discount on beverage prices. Dietary Requirements Please advise of any dietary requirements upon confirming the final number of your attendees, please provide the guests full name. Changes to Menus Personalised menus are available at an additional cost. Please ask our event management team for details. External Food and Drinks Please be advised that we do not allow any food and/or drinks not prepared and served by the RNZYS on our premises.

Venue Access We open at 8:30am, however we are happy to open the venue earlier if required. All functions need to finish by 12:00am and the venue needs to be vacated by 12.30am Security RNZYS reserves the right to employ security for the property and people with the costs added to the client’s account, where it is felt the need is required. Parking All day parking is complimentary to members and event guests of the RNZYS. Customers are only allowed to park in spaces within the white lines. Yellow lines are reserved for Berth holders ONLY. When parking is required for more than 3 hours 8:00am 4:00pm Monday to Friday, please register your car details and phone number at the computer next to reception.
