Who can access the release of superannuation progam? Permanent residents and Australian and New Zealand citizens can access the program, subject to the rules for early release.

Will Release My Super work with my medical practitioner or service provider? Yes, our team will obtain documents in the correct format to help make the process easy and advise your Doctor or service provider throughout the process.

Can you access a family member’s superannuation savings to pay for my medical procedure or service? The program is designed to assist families and you may be able to access a family members superannuation in certain circumstances. The Department for Human Services provides advice by telephone on 1300 090 261.

How much can I access to pay for medical procedures or other services under the early release program? It depends on the services being accessed and the reason for the application but our team can assist you navigate through these guidelines. Can Super be accessed to pay for family members? Yes, providing the ‘dependency criteria’ is met, Super can be accessed to pay for all family members including: parents, partners (inc. same sex), children, nephews, nieces, aunties, uncles.

What is dependency criteria? Dependency must be established by providing evidence that the family member is reliant on the Applicant.

How long will My Application take to get funds? Release My Super can submit your application for approval within 24-48 hours, with the funds being released in approximately 5 days after approval.

How much will it cost to process My Application? Release My Super charges a one-off $660 (including GST) fee to process the entire Application. If the application is unsuccessful, a rebate of $330 may be applicable.
