Rushford Matheson moves into Victorian resources. MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS PRESS RELEASE JANUARY 2019 BY KATHIE BAKER ED, KATHIE BAKER MANAGEMENT 0475 471 872 BENDIGO & SURROUNDS, AUSTRALIA

Rushford Matheson Advisory announced in December it would be activating its options in resources company Australian Quartz and Minerals Group Pty Ltd (AQM). Rushford Matheson Advisory is a Melbourne based Business and Corporate Advisory with clients in the resources sector. “We already have a knowledge of the taxation and compliance issues which affect mining companies” says Brad Matheson (founding partner of Rushford Matheson) “and the opportunity to participate on the ground was too tempting for us to ignore”.

Mr Matheson will take on the position as Chairman of the newly formed AQM. His background is solid, with many years working as an advisor in State and Federal politics as well as local government. He also served as Mayor of Hobsons Bay in his tenure as a Councillor. AQM operates within Bendigo’s so called “golden triangle”, mining for quartz and sand on existing leasehold tenements. Matheson has bought with him Robert Rushford to fill the position of CFO. “Robert Rushford is a required member within this relatively new team. He is a remarkable resource when it comes to capital raising and creating market appropriate structures”. AQM has wholly acquired JML Property Group Pty Ltd who held the leases now in control of AQM. “JML has three generations of expertise in the quarrying game and that knowledge relates to some very exciting projects which we are aggressively pursuing”, says Mr Matheson. Ray Lowther and son Jayson (formally JML) will hold 50% of stock in AQM and hold senior management positions within the Company. “Ray has maps of the areas where we wish to expand our operations which were handed drawn by his father. And there now exists an exciting opportunity to utilise this knowledge and skill”, says Matheson. “We have capitalised AQM to a level where we are able to offer local employment within our existing quarries and through expansion these opportunities will significantly increase” “Also current gold prices make it attractive to pursue technology to extract gold from our quarries, without the use of chemicals or water, and you will see us trial this locally very soon”, says Matheson. Enquiries regarding the operations of AQM can be directed to Robert Rushford 1300 090 261. Kathie Baker KB Management 2018.
