EGGS' ADVENTURE

INSPIRATION
The inspiration of my product was from a type of emoji in Wechat, which called Mr. Egg. Actually I don't like this style but I got a little bit inspiration about egg. Although at first I want to make a innovative plant pot as my product, I still want to keep the idea of egg. The problem is, if I choose egg as a plant pot, it will be useless and may people will pay more attention on what type of plants can be planted in an egg instead of how creative the idea is the use an egg as a plant pot. Finally, I decided to mix all my ideas up, then, the Eggs' Adventure came.
PROGRESS
The most hard thing in my progress is, I have no exprience with draw on eggs, work on eggs and hold the strength. I wasted over five eggs in the whole progress, some of them were broken after a complex step and it really made me crazy. In fact, it's a pretty hard work for me to fix the artificial plants in the soil because I'm not alowed to press the soil in eggs with large strengh unless I want to break them, actually I already broke one egg due to over press.
As for eggs, I just pick a hole in the bottom of an egg and pull the yolk and egg white out. and wash them up. I used this way on six eggs that were used as characters.
Then I choosed three eggs and brock open them, and separate the egg shells into six parts that would be made into tiny plant pots.
Finally, I used the brush to wipe some oil on the egg shells in order to increase the hardness.
I choosed three eggs to wipe white color, in order to make each egg can be dinstinguished from surrounding ones.
Before I used black color to draw faces on eggs, I made drafts with pencil at first.
And finished!
I didn't took any more photo in after works becasue I was in confusion in that time. I used non-woven fabric to create several hats and used artificial plant as forest. All of stuffs I made were not all used in my products because there were several ideas didn't work very well, such as pin and cotton rope.
I broke one of the white eggs because I wanted to bond some decorates on that egg and used glue gun on it. I almost cried when I crumb that egg, although I still needed to re-make it at same time. That face looked so upset and cannot help by the way.
LEARNT
Time management is so important and I will never ever delay my works until last day! Make a good plan is really helpful, I need to pay more attention on prepare works. There is a deep gap between ideal and reality, step by step might be better. Focus on one significant point, too much is as bad as too little
