New Latin Music By Sheena Johnson Mexican singer, Mar Garcia has just released her new single, ‘Quien Eres Tú’. ‘Quien Eres Tú’ was written by Ericka Vidrio and produced by Jorge Chapas. The title of the song translates to “Who Are You” and is a love song that touches on the feelings of anguish and mistrust and the infidelity a man shows for his woman. “Sometimes we think it will not happen to us, but we all sometimes can get a feeling of coldness and a sense of detachment from our partner. Those of us who are or have fallen victims of infidelity can also learn to play the same game of manipulation,” says Mar. Along with the new single also comes a provocative video directed by Lorenzo De La Cruz. The video chronicles the infidelities that Mar’s man perpetrates, as he consistently is unfaithful to her with several other women. The video portrays Mar sitting in her garden singing about her lover as he goes through a revolving set of various women. Finally in the end, Mar can be seen walking off with her new lover, breaking the cycle. Mar has been around for quite a while now even though she has a relatively new name in this industry. You can be sure though that it won’t be long before she becomes a worldwide sensation and a big name in the music business. With talent like hers, she will be making quite a name for herself shortly. She’s already become a big name in Mexican TV and film. Mar was born in Monterrey Nuevo León, where she started getting really interested in music at the tender age of 7. We’re told that she immediately had dreams of becoming an international recording star. Her musical debut also came at an early age with the release of one of her first singles, “Pobrecito.” “Pobrecito” took her on a nationwide tour of Mexico to promote the new single, quickly elevating her name in the music business there. She was even titled “La Chica Sexy” by the #1 radio station in her hometown of Monterrey, 93.3FM. It wasn’t long before Mar moved to Texas in pursuit of her music career and wound up winning the Miss Latin Beauty Pageant. She then went on to become a host for the Estrella TV Channel. And then in another twist of fate, she wound up in Los Angeles where she found herself competing in the Hollywood show, “Tengo Talent” where she became a finalist. Within no time she relocated to Los Angeles where she joined a Colombian band called “Sonora Dinamita” which performed tropical music.
