Ranchland Revelry
Inspired by the allure of late fall in the Rocky Mountains, the muse for this editorial stems from envisioning a celebration of both warmth and opulence nestled within the embrace of a working ranch, now transformed into a premier wedding venue. The canvas is painted with a curated color palette featuring gold, soft yellow, warm peach and pale blue – a symphony of hues mirroring the rich colors of autumn. Gabriela Mata Photography and CV Flowers’ objective was to transcend the ordinary and elevate the wildflower aesthetic to new heights with an air of refined luxury. Against the backdrop of the Colorado Rockies, this styled shoot sought to weave a narrative for couples in search of the perfect union between the unbridled beauty of the West and the sophisticated elegance of nuptials infused with a modern twist.
The bride’s show-stopping gown by Sareh Nouri in frost blue exuded a timeless yet unconventional allure, while her delicate and understated makeup by Sabrina Deemer Makeup enhanced her natural beauty creating an effortlessly glamorous look. Together with the groom’s choice of a classic black tuxedo, their pairing contributed to an atmosphere that effortlessly blended the rugged appeal of the ranch with the refined tastes expected from a sophisticated Colorado Rocky Mountain wedding.
The bride’s bouquet showcased a curated selection of locally grown organic flowers, including bold Rudbeckia, strawflower and the soft hues of peach and yellow Dahlias, white Cosmos and light blue Delphiniums. To add depth and texture, peach lisianthus graced the arrangement, creating a blend of colors mirroring the autumn landscape. Whimsical anise and raspberry greenery further embellished the design, infusing a fresh and aromatic essence. As a final stroke of elegance, the bouquet was adorned with trailing hand-dyed pure silk ribbon in the same hue as the bride’s tulle gown. The spellbinding beauty of the bride’s bouquet extended to the ceremony and onto the table centerpieces, where a display featured many of the same flowers. To enhance the visual aesthetic, light blue hydrangeas, golden petite roses and ivory miniature Ball Dahlias were introduced, adding layers of color and texture to the arrangement, artfully displayed in low handmade, footed clay vessels and gray marble stone bud vases.
The wedding cake designed by Cak The Bakery stood as a testament to minimalist modernity, showcasing two square tiers elegantly adorned in white buttercream frosting. The florist embellished the cake with elements that echoed the enchanting blooms in the bride’s bouquet. Serving as a visual anchor, the cake not only encapsulated the essence of the styled shoot, but also symbolized a harmonious union between wild, untamed beauty and contemporary luxury.

Beachfront Vows
Spring, the season of renewal and blooming possibilities, beautifully encapsulates the essence of love and togetherness. It is this very sense of rejuvenation and fresh beginnings that inspired Chloe Pasemko, Lead Planner of The Good Party, to highlight the charm of spring weddings. With Georgia Johnston Photography behind the camera, the aim was to enamor engaged couples with the unique beauty and appeal of an off-season celebration, a choice truly worth considering.
The bride was a vision of elegance, her silhouette gracefully adorned in the Panacea gown from renowned Canadian designer, Aesling. Inspired by the purity of form and the sophistication of architecture, the dress perfectly captured her minimalist aesthetic. The almost strapless crepe wedding gown, sleek and simple, was a testament to the designer’s commitment to highlighting natural silhouettes and creating clean lines. The statement, an elasticated puff sleeve made from sheer organza, added a modern touch to the timeless design. This exquisite detail, while subtle, enhanced the overall style of the bride’s ensemble. Stripped of unnecessary frills, the gown was an ode back to the basics, a tribute to the elegance of simplicity, epitomising the aura of the minimalist bride.
Nestled on the pristine shores of the Pacific Ocean near Victoria, British Columbia, and offering a splendid view of the Salish Sea, the Oak Bay Beach Hotel emerges as an idyllic setting for your love story. Just imagine a palette that mirrors the whimsy and joy of the season itself. The atmosphere comes alive with Keep Floral’s artful infusion of tulips, pansies, white dogwood and ranunculus flowers, reflecting a spectrum of earthy neutrals, sunny yellows, fiery oranges, verdant greens and serene blues.
Just a short walk from the Seaside Gardens, inside the luxurious Oak Bay Beach Hotel, an intimate reception space unfurls itself. Adjacent to this cozy area, a charming dining room beckons guests to savor exquisite culinary delights. The room is tastefully adorned with navy floral wallpaper, creating a sense of depth and drama. The walls are punctuated by 19th-century European sconces that cast a warm and inviting glow. The centerpiece of the room is a grand fireplace. However, unlike the traditional design, this one bears a modern twist, displaying a blend of contemporary style and traditional sophistication. This unique fusion of elements creates a memorable experience, where comfort meets high-end design.
The pièce de résistance of this grandeur is a delightful, single-tier buttercream cake by July’s Girl Cake Co., providing the perfect sweet ending to a sumptuous meal. This isn’t just any cake, but a work of art that adds to the overall aesthetics of the occasion. The cake is embellished with an intricate dance of textured palette knife detailing, demonstrating an impressive mastery of craftsmanship. Adding whimsy to this already delightful scene are the disco ball toppers that catch the sunlight. As the light hits these toppers, they cast a kaleidoscope of joy around the room, infusing the atmosphere with a playful energy.

Breathtaking Alpine Elopements
WHISTLER, BC Carbon Neutral tourism ights since 2018In the midst of a global pandemic, Ariel and Geoff, met for the first time on a cold, gloomy day in Toronto, Ontario, at Red’s Wine Tavern. Little did they know, this dinner date would mark the beginning of a new love-filled chapter. Fast forward two years later, Geoff, with nerves and excitement coursing through him, led Ariel on a challenging hike in Canmore. Unbeknownst to her, this hike would culminate in a life-changing moment. As they ascended Little Lougheed Peak, Ariel’s complaints filled the air, but Geoff’s mind was set on one thing - asking Ariel to spend the rest of her life with him. At the peak of the mountain, amidst the breathtaking views and the physical strain of the hike, Geoff got down on one knee and proposed to Ariel. Overwhelmed with emotion and joy, Ariel said yes, solidifying their commitment to embark on yet another adventure together. When Ariel and Geoff decided to tie the knot, they aimed to share their love for the Rocky Mountains with their guests. Bringing friends and family from Toronto and across Canada, the couple sought to create a celebration that echoed Ariel’s family legacy.
With a deep attachment to the majestic Canadian Rockies, the bride’s grandparents, drawn by the allure of Canmore, immigrated and found love in its breathtaking landscapes. Ariel’s mother, a product of Banff’s charm, spent her youth exploring the mountains, creating a deep-rooted connection to the region. Ariel, too, cherished countless days hiking and discovering the terrain, ascending Sulphur Mountain on many occasions. Coming full circle, the couple turned to Sky Bistro for their wedding, a sanctuary perched on the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Amidst the snow-capped peaks, Ariel and Geoff exchanged vows in a cold and windy outdoor ceremony. Laughter echoed through the crisp air as some underdressed Torontonians bravely faced the chilly conditions, a testament to the couple’s prior warnings. However, as if scripted by Mother Nature herself, the ceremony took an unexpected turn. Mid-vows, the wind intensified, and snow began to dance through the air, creating a magical and unforgettable scene.

ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Think about your guests’ experience and don’t be afraid to buck tradition! Yes, we froze some of ours into popsicles, but we also heard after the wedding that it was memorable and most importantly - FUN!”
ramsey & colby
When Ramsey and Colby were connected through mutual friends, Colby was stationed in Hawaii at the time, so the two exchanged texts until Colby returned to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for a brief period before his relocation to Virginia Beach. It was there that virtual messages metamorphosed from a face-to-face encounter into a budding romance as they embarked on memorable dates, including an ice cream outing that unexpectedly led them to Ramsey’s grandparents. Ramsey fondly recalls, “It was really neat, and we still talk about that day.” Ramsey and Colby navigated a long-distance relationship until Ramsey found a travel nurse position and relocated to Virginia Beach to be closer to Colby. Fast forward three years and the couple attended the festive gathering of Christmas Town. Colby, typically not one for photos, surprised Ramsey with an unusual request; to capture a moment in front of the fully lit Christmas tree. As the camera clicked, Colby dropped to one knee and asked Ramsey to marry him. The couple’s friends, present witnesses to the proposal, promptly FaceTimed Ramsey’s family, ensuring that they were part of the special moment.

ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Our best advice is communication. Your partner can’t read your mind and it is so important to always communicate, support and validate your partner. Never stop smiling and laughing together, your partner is always your best friend. As far as wedding planning goes, stay true to yourselves, provide thoughtful and fun experiences for all of your guests and soak up every special moment because it goes by way too fast.”
For Ramsey and Colby, planning the perfect wedding was about more than just vows and rings, it was about incorporating who they are as individuals and as a couple. The vision? A celebration beaming with fun, brightness, happiness and all-around good vibes. Both Ramsey and Colby exude a laid-back, go-with-the-flow spirit and they were determined to infuse every aspect of their special day with that same infectious energy. The bride and groom wanted their guests to experience joy, love and a sense of being cared for. Ramsey and Colby set out to curate an atmosphere where loved ones not only celebrated their union but also felt the genuine warmth and authenticity that defines their relationship. To translate their personalities into the aesthetic, Ramsey and Colby embraced a sunset theme with warm tones and touches of Santa Fe. With distinctive Southwestern charm and an unpretentious ambience, the century-old resort known as Bishop’s Lodge in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains was an obvious choice as the venue.

becca & zack
Becca and Zack’s introduction unfolded through the digital realms of a popular dating app where compatibility algorithms deemed them a perfect match. Despite Becca’s initial profile claiming New York City, New York, residency, the truth was hidden in the process of job interviews that drew her to the city occasionally. Their first date was a charming encounter at a serene park along the East River; they sat beneath the sunlight, talking for hours as if time stood still. It was the beginning of a love story that would evolve with the city’s essence. Fast forward to their three-year anniversary; with Zack, braving the scorching 95-degree weather, leading Becca and their beloved dog, Jackson, on a whimsical adventure across the city. Central Park became a picturesque backdrop as they shared lunch at EJ’s Luncheonette, revisiting the nostalgic spots that marked the milestones of their relationship. Under the shade of the same trees where they had their first date, Zack dropped to one knee and proposed. Totally surprised and bursting with joy, Becca of course, said “Yes.” Later that afternoon, after a rejuvenating shower and a much-needed nap, the newly engaged couple ventured to Don Angie’s, where the restaurant’s ambience matched the significance of the day. Over an incredible dinner, they toasted to their love, celebrating the past and embracing the future that awaited them as partners for life.
The festivities started with the rehearsal dinner which was hosted at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, where Becca wore a cream-colored, off-the-shoulder dress from Khaite with classical draping and Gianvito Rossi heels. Zack chose an Eleventy jacket and Isaia pants in neutral tones to complement the palette of the venue. As the second night of the wedding weekend commenced, the bride and groom stepped into the realm of romance and rustic elegance. The bride, dressed in a captivating Zimmerman set, radiated charm as she topped off her ensemble with a custom branded Kemo Sabe hat. The groom embraced a blend of casual and sophisticated style, wearing an Eleventy shacket paired with jeans and a custom hat reminiscent of the iconic one worn by John Dutton in Yellowstone, courtesy of Belle Cose. The welcome party unfolded in a setting that blended the spirit of the West with an elevated charm, creating an atmosphere where cowboy boots met refined tastes.
from
On the wedding day, Becca graced the aisle in a floral embroidered gown crafted by the artistry of Italian designer Maison Signore. Jimmy Choo heels adorned her feet, echoing the rhythm of her heartbeat as she walked towards her future with Zack. As the evening transitioned ceremony to celebration, Becca, in the spirit of keeping fashion at the forefront of the event, slipped into a dress by Sabina Musayev. This time, she crowned her ensemble with a light blue custom hat from JW Bennett. The after-party found its stage at the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, where laughter and music filled the air.ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Take your time with planning; there is no need to rush the engagement. There are a lot of logistics involved in planning a wedding, and the best way to stay organized and within budget is to take things slow. If you rush, things will get out of hand and will add to your stress on the day of the wedding. Because we had two years, we felt that our wedding went without a hitch, and it made our day that much better.”

When asked about the most treasured moment, Becca doesn’t hesitate. “My favorite moment of the day,” Becca begins, “was when Zack and I stole away for a few minutes of solitude after our ceremony. The day went by so fast and we spoke with so many people that having a few moments together, alone, allowed us to appreciate the day and each other much more.”

sarah & Andy
In the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, where the tunes of country music filled the air, Sarah, a server at a local bar, caught Andy’s eye as he sat at the bustling bar. Mixing drinks with flair, she struck up a conversation and their connection sparked like the city lights. Seven years later, in January 2022, the couple found themselves on an isolated sunrise hike with their four loyal canine companions in Page, Arizona. As they trekked through the awe-inspiring terrain, Andy led Sarah to a breathtaking rock arch with a panoramic view. With palpable emotion and unwavering devotion, Andy dropped to one knee and asked for Sarah’s hand in marriage. To her astonishment, Andy had revealed a second surprise; a gathering of friends awaited them at an Airbnb in Sedona. The weekend was spent basking in the bliss of their love, as they ventured on exhilarating hikes and thrilling 4-wheeling adventures.
For the wedding, Sarah envisioned a dreamy, romantic dress, initially drawn to the allure of a form-fitting, 3D lace creation with an open back. However, fate had other plans when she stumbled upon a Galia Lahav dress that stole her heart. The gown she chose embodied a romantic yet formal interpretation of a prairie-inspired ranch dress. With a delicate see-through modernity and a touch of corset elegance, it resonated with the essence of the couple’s western aesthetic. Completing the ensemble, Sarah paired her dress with tall white boots, adding a rustic charm to the overall look. Andy, equally committed to making a stylish statement, opted for a custom suit in the coolest camel color, a choice that impeccably complemented his distinct flair. Following the heartfelt ceremony, guests were handed glasses of champagne and led to a serene spot where the ranch releases its spirited horses each night. Surrounded by the beauty of Wyoming, the newlyweds’ loved ones stood witness as the horses galloped behind the bride and groom, creating a backdrop for a special moment shared between Andy and Sarah, sealed with a kiss.

I have two! My paper goods vendor, Clover and Lamb, so detailed, meticulous and talented. Pure quality. Also, my videographers Colin & Lakin. I have never seen a wedding video so beautiful. It is like a movie - the quality and shots are unmatched.
Embarking on the journey from their home state of Tennessee to the Wild West for their wedding, the bride and groom brought more than just belongings; they carried a legacy. A trailer filled with paintings, spurs, cattle brands, cowboy hats, chaps and saddles, both personal and belonging to Andy’s late father, accompanied them. The reception space became a canvas for weaving memories into the celebration. Each item found its place, creating a profoundly authentic atmosphere that told a story of heritage and love. The wall behind the DJ booth became a focal point, adorned with these cherished relics, crafting a beautiful and sentimental backdrop for the dance floor.

sarah & remmy
Sarah and Remmy’s journey began in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois, where fate brought them together during Musky Fest, otherwise known as a Wisconsin-themed street fest and competition for the infamous Musky Queen. Despite never exchanging numbers, Sarah couldn’t shake the feeling that Remmy was someone special. It wasn’t until a year later when their paths crossed again at a Cubs v. White Sox baseball game, their connection and chemistry proved to be irresistible. The nearly four year romance led them to a snow-covered beach in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. It was there that Remmy took the opportunity to surprise Sarah with a heartfelt proposal. Her family, who had been in on the secret, emerged at dinner to celebrate the newly engaged couple.
With a colorful, fun and laid-back aesthetic in mind, Ivory & Sage Events brought the bride and groom’s vision to life in the most stunning way. For the ceremony, Sarah envisioned a simple and modern look that perfectly captured her effortless beauty. The Giovanna dress from Sarah Seven was the embodiment of grace with a fit and flare silhouette and soft crepe fabric flowing as she walked down the aisle to meet her beau. Remmy, on the other hand, had always been known for his vibrant and eclectic style. The groom went all in with the pink theme, donning a bespoke soft pink suit that caught the eye of every guest in attendance. As they exchanged their vows, the love and adoration they felt for each other radiated through the al fresco venue, filling the hearts of everyone present with joy and warmth. Each detail of the day, from the lush feminine floral arrangements to the whimsical decorations, reflected the couple’s unique personalities.

sarah & tommy
Sarah and Tommy’s love story began in the quaint town where they grew up, just five miles apart. While Tommy had a crush on Sarah in the fifth grade, the classmates eventually attended different middle and high schools but remained in touch. Despite going their separate ways, their friendship endured over the years, strengthened by occasional catch-ups during breaks from college. After both graduated, their paths converged once more. A dinner date marked the beginning of a romance that flourished over the next four years. One snowy day, they found themselves at Tommy’s family farm in Maryland. On this particular afternoon, a new calf had entered the world and awaited tagging. The couple shared a special connection with this tradition, making it one of their favorite farm activities. Tommy, with a twinkle in his eye, suggested they tag the new calf. As Sarah headed to the barn for the supplies, she discovered a box waiting for her. On top of the supplies, an ear tag caught her eye, bearing a question that would define their future: “Will you marry me?” As she turned around, there was Tommy, down on one knee.
When the decision to have a destination wedding arose, Tommy’s suggestion of Montana held a special place in his heart and mind. His previous stint working in Dillon had left an indelible mark on him. He spoke passionately about the breathtaking beauty and the serene mountains that whispered tranquility. Though Sarah hadn’t set foot in Montana before, Tommy’s unwavering certainty that she would adore it fueled the bride’s excitement. Equally crucial was the choice of a photographer, and from the moment Sarah discovered Courtney Dueppengiesser on Instagram, she knew Courtney was the one to immortalize their day. Light and airy photos had always captivated Sarah, and Courtney’s distinct style resonated with her vision. Courtney became the couple’s first and non-negotiable vendor, ensuring that every moment, every glance and every emotion would be artfully captured in a way that echoed the ethereal beauty of their special day.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Try your very best to soak in every little moment of the day and be grateful. From getting ready in the morning with my girls to going out in downtown Bozeman for the after-party, every memory I was able to share with my favorite people is still so vivid to me and I will hold onto them forever.”
In the months leading up to their nuptials, the couple visited twice, and each time, the enchantment of Montana grew on Sarah. There was an undeniable allure to the landscape, a raw and untouched beauty that resonated with both the bride and groom. Foster Creek Farm, the chosen venue, played host to views that seemed painted by nature’s own hand. The mountains stood tall, cradling the promise of their union. For the wedding day, two elements held the utmost importance to Sarah: vibrant floral arrangements and capturing those precious moments through photography. The bride yearned for bright summer florals, a riot of pinks, oranges, reds and yellows that would harmonize with the stunning surroundings and complement her bridesmaids’ feminine ruffle pink dresses.

Sofia & Matthew
Sofia and Matthew met at Florida State University, where their paths crossed in the bustling campus life. However, it wasn’t until a few years after graduating that fate intervened at the Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival. Amidst the festival crowd, Sofia heard her name called, and as she turned, she was met with the familiar face of Matt. Sparks ignited as they spent the weekend together, realizing the connection they had missed in their college days. Fast forward four years, the couple traveled to the rainforests of Costa Rica. Staying at the lush Makanda boutique hotel in the heart of the jungle, Sofia and Matt’s days were filled with romance and adventure. On the first morning, the couple rose early, eager to explore the rugged beauty of the Nauyaca waterfall. As they positioned themselves for a photo, Matt surprised Sofia by dropping to one knee, unveiling a diamond ring. With the backdrop of the cascading waterfall, he popped the question. Born and raised in Delray Beach, Florida, Sofia felt an undeniable pull toward wide-open spaces and mountains, a stark contrast to the coastal familiarity of her hometown. With horseback riding embedded in her soul, Sofia knew she wanted to weave her lifelong passion into the wedding day.
United by an adventurous spirit, Sofia and Matt embarked on a quest for a wedding destination that transcended mere ceremony, aiming for an immersive experience for their guests. Their journey led them westward, and amidst the vast landscape of Montana and Yellowstone, they discovered a 100-year old barn. Nestled in the stunning Paradise Valley at the base of the Absaroka Mountain Range, Copper Rose Ranch resonated with the newly engaged couple. From there, Sofia and Matt’s special day unfolded in a whimsical fusion of wildflowers and western elegance with the expertise of Kelsey, the lead designer and planner of Wild Montana Wedding. When reflecting on her favorite moment, Sofia fondly recalls a grounding start to the ceremony orchestrated by her brother, who also served as their officiant. With a gentle command, he asked everyone to close their eyes and take a deep breath, creating a collective pause in the midst of the vow exchange. In that stillness, Sofia felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and the presence of everyone she loved, she stood on the precipice of marrying her best friend.

aspen & sam
Aspen and Sam’s relationship began in the hallways of Coeur d’Alene High School during their sophmore year. The two were just teenagers, navigating the complexities of adolescence. Years passed, and now on the verge of graduating college, Sam decided it was time to make a move that would change their lives forever. During finals week, when stress was at its peak, Sam surprised Aspen with a romantic proposal. He had meticulously planned every detail. Reservations were made at a fancy restaurant downtown, after which Sam led Aspen to the rooftop where a hidden photographer silently awaited their arrival. Surrounded by twinkling city lights, Sam got down on one knee. Aspen nodded tearfully, her eyes filled with joy.
As a young girl Aspen imagined the blissful moment of exchanging vows with her beloved husband-to-be at her parent’s enchanting home, nestled along the shores of Coeur d’Alene Lake. The idyllic backdrop and her father’s luxurious landing pad, compliments of his piloting prowess, would surely create the most picturesque setting for their nuptials. To make her dream a reality, her dedicated father began fervently preparing the property as soon as the engagement was announced. Amidst the many decisions and demands of wedding planning, Aspen remained steadfast in her commitment to plan the celebration on her own with the help of those closest to her. When asked to describe the aesthetic of the day, Aspen shared, “I call it the sunset black tie affair! The ceremony started at 7 p.m. so it definitely helped set the vibe.” The classic summer theme continued with the groom and groomsmen in black suits while the girls wore colors and styles of their choice. “I sent inspiration to my bridesmaids and they each picked their own dresses that they felt beautiful in. For my maid of honor, I wanted hers to tie into all of the bridesmaids dresses, while also standing out on her own! We found the most stunning floral print dress that had the right colors and totally embodied the mood for the evening!” Aspen explains.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“I would say my biggest tip is to focus on the why! Every little detail will fall into place, and if it doesn’t, who cares? Focus on the love that brought you to where you are today! Take time to see and thank those who support you and enjoy the stage that you are in!”

HEBER, UTAH // AUGUST 20
Katy & Alma
Katy and Alma’s story began in 2014, within the bounds of rival high schools. At the time, Katy was a student at Skyline High, while Alma roamed the halls of Olympus, when Alma reached out to Katy through Instagram. Although Alma’s messages were recurrent, Katy left his invitations to hang out unanswered. Years went by, and it was not until Katy’s college graduation in 2019 that Alma, fueled by hope, summoned the courage to reach out once again. This time, Katy finally succumbed to Alma’s persistent advances. Two and a half years later, in the serene landscape of Snow Canyon State Park, bathed in the warm hues of the red rocks and soaring cliffs, a profound moment of love’s grandeur unfolded. It was November of 2021, when Alma proposed to Katy, beneath the guise of a family photo session. Fully aware of the significance St. George held in Katy’s heart and the memory of her late father, Alma chose the sacred place that would forever tie them together. Knowing the importance of capturing the moment perfectly, Alma arranged for a professional photographer to accompany them. The veil of an ordinary photo shoot disguised his intentions impeccably. As their laughter echoed through the canyon, Alma’s heart danced with anticipation as he knelt before Katy, asking her to marry him.

No decision perplexed Katy and Alma more than the aesthetics and location of their nuptials. The ever-engrossing debate of whether to host a destination wedding enveloped their every thought. United by their shared adoration for the Rocky Mountains, the couple yearned for a wedding encapsulated by scenic beauty and a dash of intimacy. It was amidst this fervent desire that their hearts gravitated towards a family member’s splendid ranch ensconced within 13,000 breathtaking acres boarding Uinta National Forest. With an unwavering conviction, Katy expressed the importance of an extraordinary venue, one that would elude mainstream trends and tantalize the senses of the select few. The couple hinged their decision upon another crucial factor; fostering a sense of familial warmth and camaraderie. A longing to see loved ones revel together led them to envision not a mere ceremony and reception, but an extravagant celebration spanning the entire weekend.

Haley & austin
Shortly after Haley’s introduction to Austin’s sister, Lauren, a casual mention of the perfect girl for Austin set the stage for a serendipitous connection. Fast forward a few years, and destiny intervened when Austin initiated contact with Haley on Instagram. Despite initial reservations, Haley agreed to a drinks date, which unexpectedly extended into a night that saw them closing down a dive bar. Austin’s conviction that Haley was the one solidified over time, leading to a proposal in November 2022. The picturesque moment unfolded during an unsuspecting Sunday brunch plan, as Austin, seizing the opportunity, proposed in a snow-covered garden near Washington Park in Denver. The surprise continued as friends captured the magical moment with pictures and videos. Returning home, Haley and Austin were greeted by their mini Labradoodle, adorned in celebratory attire, along with a thoughtful arrangement of roses and champagne. The surprises didn’t end there, as family and friends, who had flown in from various locations, awaited them at Austin’s mother’s house, creating a day that was both perfect and entirely unexpected for Haley. Immersed in the bustling preparations for the upcoming nuptials, the bride turned to the expertise of Loni and Riley from LP Creative, along with the guiding hand of her mother, to breathe life into her envisioned wedding day. The aesthetic was clear, to manifest an event that seamlessly blended timeless elegance with a touch of modernity, all framed by clean lines and an undertone of rustic romance.
ADVICE TO FUTURE COU PLES
“We received the advice to make sure we planned our wedding for us and do what we wanted to do, rather than what we felt we should do to accommodate all our guests. While I think this is great advice, I also think it’s important to make compromises when needed and ultimately have fun planning by celebrating all the big decisions (i.e. each time a vendor is booked or a big task is completed). We also planned a dinner date at each month anniversary from the wedding, as our countdown, but also a pause to enjoy being engaged, because that stage in the relationship goes so quickly.”
“While the entire day was perfect to us and the collection of memories made it truly the best day of our lives, one of our favorite moments was our first look. Austin is a very logical, level-headed and poised person, so an emotional first look was not expected. However, to both of our surprise, Austin turned around with tears coming to his eyes and totally choked up! It was so pure and heartful and a memory we’ll remember forever,” the bride reminisces.

SNOWMASS, COLORADO // SEPTEMBER 10
It was a sunny day in Tucson, Arizona, when Vanna and Sebastian crossed paths for the first time at a vibrant college pool party. Introduced by mutual friends, their connection was instant. Both shared an insatiable appetite for exploring nature’s wonders, savoring exotic cuisines and the beautiful language of French, which they both studied at The University of Arizona. A decade had passed since they first met, and their love had only grown deeper. In June 2021, on the North Fork of Long Island, New York, where they had made their home, Sebastian orchestrated a grand proposal. Under the guise of a business meeting, he chartered a sailboat named “Surprise” and, unbeknownst to Vanna, had inscribed those four life-changing words on the main sail – “Will you marry me?” Blissfully unaware of the momentous occasion awaiting her, Vanna stepped aboard the vessel, oblivious to the serendipitous name she should have questioned. As the sail gracefully unfurled, displaying Sebastian’s heartfelt message, Vanna accepted Sebastian’s proposal.
The dream to bring together their cherished friends and beloved family for a celebration beyond comparison became a reality in the early autumn of September nestled in the Roaring Fork Valley at McCabe Ranch. Vanna, a born and bred Chicagoan, and Sebastian, hailing from the streets of Lower Manhattan, were determined to infuse their cosmopolitan glamor into the once-in-a-lifetime event. With the expertise and creativity of the renowned wedding planner, Laurel & Rose, their vision began to take shape. Their desire was not only to celebrate their love but to pay homage to their adoration for the coast. And so, an exquisite coastal flair was effortlessly woven into their nuptial tapestry, tying together their passion for the sea and their deep-rooted connection to the mountains. With an abundance of neutrals, carefully curated and interspersed with lively woven accents of raffia, the couple showcased their personal style and created a haven for elegance and charm. The resulting ambience was one of sophistication, where every corner whispered tales of their love story, delicately wrapped in the exquisite symbolism of rugged beauty.

caelynn & dean
Caelynn and Dean, once contestants on the popular television show, Bachelor in Paradise, found love in the golden sun. Their first date unfolded at a charming Sayulita, Mexico, restaurant, where laughter and shared stories forged a connection that would endure. Years later, while on the trip, amongst the breathtaking landscape of Kauai, Hawaii, during a 20-mile hike, Dean seized the perfect moment as the sun began to dip below the horizon. With 11 miles behind them and the promise of forever ahead, Dean dropped to one knee and asked Caelynn to be his partner for life. In that exquisite moment, on the most beautiful of beaches, Caelynn joyfully accepted his proposal.
The couple’s venue, nestled just 30 minutes from Dean’s hometown of Basalt, was the perfect setting for their romantic celebration. The welcome dinner exuded the essence of Italy, with the rugged charm of the mountains. The air buzzed with laughter and the clinking of glasses as friends and family reveled in the mountains, a prelude to the lovefilled days ahead. As the wedding day arrived, the beauty of Beyul Retreat was enhanced by a touch of luxe sophistication, creating a timeless and elegant atmosphere. The floral arrangements designed by Lady Sunshine Floral, in classic white and green hues, added to the understated beauty of the celebration.
For the couple, the most important aspect of their wedding was being able to share the special weekend with their loved ones. With everyone staying in cabins on the property, the wedding weekend became a retreat where they could all spend cherished time together. Caelynn and Dean’s desire for their guests to relax and enjoy themselves was realized, and their gratitude for the unforgettable experience was palpable. As Caelynn reflects, they wouldn’t have changed a single thing about their perfect, love-filled celebration.

Rachael and Katzney’s story began in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia where they met at a young adult church group. In the early stages of Rachael and Katzney’s connection, messages bridged the physical gap between them, revealing glimpses of shared interests and aspirations. The 2-hour and 10-minute drive that separated them served as a challenge, but both Rachael’s spontaneous spirit and Katzney’s meticulous planning kept their hopes alive. Soon enough, the universe intervened, leading both Rachael and Katzney to attend Katzney’s church’s annual youth conference, the Forward Conference. On the final day of the conference, Rachael and Katzney were finally able to spend quality time together. A trip to Chickfil-A followed by a quiet cafe escape allowed for hours of conversation.
One month and 22 days after Katzney’s charming in-home proposal, Rachael and he chose to marry in an intimate elopement setting, the couple sought a location that would blend dreamy aesthetics with an editorial edge. Their search led them to a picturesque spot with a stunning pink lake, a place where the water’s unusual hue added a touch of fashion-forward allure. Rachael was captivated by the textures surrounding the lake – the shimmering reflections of the sun, the softness of the sand the interplay of shadows cast by the nearby mountain. The couple’s vision for their day was clear – an editorial elopement that seamlessly merged high fashion with organic elements. The color palette revolved around neutral tones – white, tan and blue hues – creating an ethereal atmosphere. Pink Lake, with its unique color, became a canvas for their dreams. To enhance the aesthetic, Rachael and Katzney curated a monochromatic palette, incorporating textures like stone, oysters, seashells and clear acrylic.
“Make sure you are healed, communication is key, set boundaries, discuss expectations, prioritize quality time, be patient and understanding. Enjoy the process.”

We collaborated closely with Devonna in creating the perfect invitation suite and day-of paper items. Our wedding planner, Hannah King, who kept us sane and excited the week leading up to our events and ensured that the wedding weekend was executed perfectly!
In the enchanting landscape of Santa Fe, Randy and Daryl embarked on a journey to create a wedding as captivating as their partnership. The wedding planning process was smooth sailing, thanks to their shared vision and the expertise of their Dallasbased wedding planner, Brooks & Barnes. With a keen eye for design, Daryl guided the aesthetic, while Randy offered his unwavering trust and support. The result was a dark, rich and moody palette that captured the mystery and sophistication of their love. The allure of deep navy, aubergine and burgundy, set the stage for a celebration like no other. Their wedding invitations were a work of art in themselves, with a custom design by Devonna, the creative genius behind Funky Olive Invitations + Stationery, which paid homage to the beauty of the Southwestern state. The watercolor map of the city served as a breathtaking envelope liner, adding an extra touch of elegance to the suite.
“Plan early so that you can secure the vendors you want. Create a unique hashtag for family and friends to include when sharing videos and photos. We decided to schedule our honeymoon for the following summer (June 2023), as we believed it was the wisest choice. Honeymoon planning alongside all the wedding preparations and celebrations might have been overwhelming for us, so we opted to space them out for a smoother experience.”

chloe & dominic
Chloe and Dominic’s story unfolded over six years, starting at the local gym where their paths first crossed. The initial spark simmered in the background as they maintained a respectful distance due to being in relationships. Four years later, fate intervened, and both found themselves single, paving the way for a new chapter. Upon learning of Chloe’s newfound single status, Dominic took matters into his own hands. A spontaneous beach outing with friends served as the foundation for their reconnection. The chemistry that had been there all along ignited into a passionate flame and a loving relationship. Dominic, aware of Chloe’s preference for preparedness, planned a proposal that perfectly aligned with her personality: 12 hours to pack before whisking her away on a heli-jet plane to Victoria. With just enough notice, they explored the city together, before Dominic suggested walking to Chloe’s favorite beach on Dallas Road. Against the wind-whipped waves and pebbly shore, Dominic got down on one knee and asked Chloe to marry him.The romantic gesture didn’t end there. Dominic had meticulously arranged for Chloe’s closest friends to witness and join in on the special occasion. As Chloe reflects on the magical moment, she cherishes not only the commitment of her now-husband but the thoughtful inclusion of cherished friends, making the proposal a dreamy and unforgettable experience.
Chloe and Dominic’s journey to their dream wedding began nearly a year before the big day. Although not officially engaged, the couple shared a vision of tying the knot within the next 12-16 months. Realizing the importance of securing the perfect venue, they embarked on an early search. Their quest led them to the timeless allure of The Permanent located in downtown Vancouver. The moment they stepped into the two-story temple bank building clad in sandstone, surrounded by stained glass windows, captivating ceilings and elegant tile flooring, Chloe and Dominic knew they had found the backdrop for their love story. The mezzanine added a touch of sophistication that resonated with their desire for a black-tie affair.
Envisioning a wedding with the charm and warmth of a jazz club, the couple curated a mesmerizing ambience. To make a grand entrance, the bride and groom opted for a vintage Rolls Royce limo, infusing a timeless elegance that resonated with their venue’s old-world charm. The sleek, classic vehicle set the tone for an evening filled with glitz, glamor and style. Incorporating elements of whimsy, funky florals adorned the space, injecting bursts of color and personality. Live jazz music further elevated the experience, infusing the air with soulful melodies where guests could swing around on the dance floor. Chloe’s gown, a masterpiece by Ines Di Santo, was a vision of romantic luxury. The off-the-shoulder, long-sleeved and backless silhouette adorned with delicate lace, intricate beading and subtle pearl details gracefully hugged her form. It was a manifestation of modernity and timelessness, embodying the aesthetic Chloe had envisioned for her special day. In contrast, Dominic showcased his sartorial versatility with two distinct tuxedo choices. The first, a classic black ensemble, exuded traditional charm. For his second look, Dominic opted for a cream jacket with black lapels, adding a contemporary twist that perfectly complemented the venue’s vintage allure.

Laura & nathan
Laura and Nathan first crossed paths when they were introduced by a mutual friend who happened to live in the same condo building as Laura. Their initial meeting was casual and unassuming, but it sparked a connection that would change the course of their lives forever. The first date was a simple affair, sharing laughs over a pizza. Six years into their relationship, Nathan decided it was time to take the next step. In October 2020, during their annual trip to The Fairmont Banff Springs hotel, Nathan caught Laura completely off guard with a heartfelt proposal. Underneath the bridge outside the hotel, Nathan got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. The setting couldn’t have been more picturesque, with the soft glow of early snowfall adding an extra touch of magic to the moment. Banff Springs holds an irreplaceable space in Laura and Nathan’s hearts, not just as the backdrop to their engagement but as a cherished destination for quality family time. For the bride and groom, the allure of a winter wedding was perfectly encapsulated by the enchanting Christmas season at The Fairmont Banff Springs nestled at the base of Rundle Mountain.
Choosing this iconic venue known as Canada’s Castle in the Rockies for their celebration, Laura and Nathan envisioned a black-tie event, and the alpine town of Banff provided the ideal canvas for their elegant affair. The festive ambience of the location, adorned with holiday decorations, added a touch of magic to their special day. Laura’s dream of simplicity found its match at Park & Fifth with a stunning long-sleeved dress that captured her vision perfectly. To add a touch of sparkle, she adorned herself with a delicate headband and shoes featuring bold bows, infusing the ensemble with a hint of whimsy. On the other side of the aisle, Nathan embraced classic sophistication. Cloaked in a black peak lapel tuxedo, patent leather shoes and French cuffs, he exuded timeless elegance. The finishing touch was a bow tie that brought the entire ensemble together, creating a Rat Pack-inspired, old-school charm that perfectly complemented Laura’s timeless simplicity.

Kaitlin & Keith
Kaitlin and Keith’s story began on the dating app, Plenty of Fish, through an unexpected twist of fate on the day Kaitlin contemplated deleting her dating apps. Thanks to her friend Angelina’s matchmaking skills, Keith’s profile caught Kaitlin’s eye, and their connection was instant. Four and a half years later, Keith orchestrated a proposal that left Kaitlin in awe. Unbeknownst to her, Keith had been in cahoots with her closest friends for the past four months, carefully planning every detail of the proposal. He had even gone as far as customizing an engagement ring to match Kaitlin’s exact preferences and receiving her parents’ blessing. When Keith suggested going ring shopping, Kaitlin had no idea that it was all just a charade to throw her off. As they waited for their dinner table, Keith excused himself and set up an elaborate display in the lobby bar. When Kaitlin was escorted to the surprise, she found Keith down on one knee, surrounded by a stunning floral arrangement, music playing and a professional photographer capturing the moment. Reflecting on the memorable proposal, Kaitlin chuckles at the thought of the restaurant actually being closed that night. “Lucky for him, I hadn’t done my usual online research, or he would have had a lot of explaining to do,” she laughs fondly. Keith’s meticulous planning had indeed resulted in an unforgettable and epic proposal, one that Kaitlin will forever cherish.

The bride and groom’s nuptials took place in the heart of Whistler’s Upper Village, amidst the breathtaking Canadian Rockies winter wonderland. As the snow gently blanketed the ground, the couple exchanged their vows in a truly picturesque setting, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Following the intimate ceremony, the newlyweds welcomed their guests to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver for a modern tropical Gatsby-inspired reception. The grand ballroom was transformed into a luxurious space, with a dark and moody vibe that perfectly complemented the classic feel of the venue. The couple’s choice of tropical greenery and geometric shapes brought a modern twist to the space, while the tall centerpieces added a richness that made the room feel even more opulent.

ADVICE TO FUTURE COUPLES
“Take your time, there’s nothing wrong with a long engagement. Use wedding planners if you can afford it or reallocate funds to be able to afford it. Our planners were the team that made it all happen and the glue that held everything together. Also budget for videographers, you will not regret it! Be selfish, it’s your day, do what you want, invite who you want and don’t feel bad about it. HAVE FUN! There is no point in spending all this time and money on a wedding if you don’t enjoy it. Don’t stress and just really enjoy your time. If you have the option to extend the festivities into a multi-day event - It’s THE BEST!”

For the adventurous couple seeking to infuse their honeymoon with a dash of exploration, Santa Fe beckons with a charming array of experiences. Pedal through the city’s picturesque streets on custom Anasazi bicycles, thoughtfully provided by the Rosewood Inn for guests’ enjoyment. These two-wheeled companions make navigating downtown a breeze, allowing couples to discover hidden gems along the way. Explore the historic Santa Fe Plaza, meander through the artistic half-mile stretch of Canyon Road and venture into the lively Railyard district. Embark on a journey to the Los Poblanos Farm Shop Norte, housed in a renovated 1935 Sinclair Oil gas station/farm supply store. Here, encounter signature lavender products, botanical gin and curated home objects. Continue the adventure by marveling at Native American rugs from Nepal and India at Malouf on the Plaza. Amidst shopping escapades, take a delightful break at the Santa Fe Biscochito Company for homemade ice cream crowned with crisp butter cookies; a sweet indulgence featuring New Mexico’s official state cookie, flavored with sugar, cinnamon and anise.
Set out on a captivating journey through the New Mexico Museum of Art, the oldest art museum in the state, where over 20,000 works spanning various media await eager eyes. As you explore the hallowed halls, the museum unfolds as a treasure trove of artistic expression, showcasing Southwestern masterpieces. The collection not only resides within the gallery spaces but also extends to the building itself, a cherished exemplar of Pueblo Revival architecture. Each corner resonates with the cultural echoes of the region, offering a profound engagement into the tradition that has shaped New Mexico.
Raise a glass and toast to love at the Anasazi Bar and Lounge within the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi. Here, the art of savoring is elevated to new heights as couples partake in a tequilatasting experience akin to exploring the nuances of fine wine. Delight in a selection of distinguished premium tequila brands, spanning the spectrum from light to dark, carefully curated to cater to varying palates. A knowledgeable tequila expert stands ready to guide guests through the history and intricate process of agave distillation, turning each sip into a journey of discovery. The tasting is not only a feast for the senses but also a culinary adventure, complemented by a mouth-watering course menu designed to enhance the overall experience.
