Dear reader, The year 2018 is coming to an end, and we would like to finish the year by showing you products dedicated to the bathroom. We got several products in our portfolio specially developed for wet areas, but of course suitable for other rooms as well. Among others is the classic Lampe Gras N304 Bathroom from DCW, which is particularly suited for the bathroom, since it is rated with an IP at 64. In this bathroom edition of our digital Roomstore Focus catalogue, we have also selected various mirrors; the MbE Mirror from DCW and the new Vitrail Mirror from Magis. The Vitrail series comes in different colours and shapes. This is the final Focus catalogue we will send you this year, and therefore we would like to wish you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Bernard-Albin Gras was one of the most innovative designer of the 20th century. The functional esthetic of his lamps and especially the design of details such as those of the arms, stems, brackets and bases were truly original and far ahead of his time.
05 – DCW Éditions
The bathroom version of the classic Lampe Gras N304 is produced in steel, celoron, borosilicate glass, galvanized steel and silicone seals.

In 1900 the store La Samaritaine opened in the first arrondissement in Paris, France. During the years, the small clothing store grew into an iconic department store loved by the local Parisians. One day, the co-owner of DCW, Frédéric Winkler, visited the old hat department in La Samaritaine, where he fell in love with the functional mirrors used in the department’s interior. Through time, DCW has used the mirrors to present their bathroom lamps in a setting at their stand at various design fairs. The reaction from people was always; “When will these mirrors be put into production?”. Finally, the decision was made. As a loving tribute to the city of Paris, to a local history dating back to the 1900 and to functional design.

The tilting MbE Mirror is a wall mirror with the top part of the mirror is mounted to the wall, and the is freely moving. This gives the opportunity to tilt the mirror both vertically and horizontally.

SPOT IP44 TOM DIXON
Framed in a plated stainless-steel surround, Spot is a massively thick glass lens designed to refract the light of integrated LEDs. Comprising of a directional pendant and two IP44 rated wall lights, spot is rendered in high-shine copper and glossy black. The Spot series from Tom Dixon is made from a pressing mould. K9 glass is made by pouring liquid glass into an iron mould, cooled down and then polished by hand. Only represented in Denmark

STONE IP44 + PLANE IP44 TOM DIXON
The Stone series from Tom Dixon is primarily made in marble. This hard, semi-precious surface has transfixed architects, sculptors and designers for millennia. It is the dream material – tough yet tactile, heavy and long-lasting with individual personality.

Minimalist yet expressive, Tom Dixon’s Plane wall lamp is constructed from two interlocked square brass-plated steel frames that enclose a double-layered white glass sphere. Plane wall emits a soft ambient light and can be used in multiple configurations either on the wall or on the ceiling. IP44 rated if used as a wall light.

VITRAIL MIRRORS MAGIS
In antique shops you often stumble upon what we know as Venetian mirrors, in which the central glass is surrounded by other smaller pieces of mirror, a simple and attractive way to both frame and reflect.

13 – Magis
The French designer Inga SempĂŠ wanted to develop this idea in the Vitrail collection, combining clear and coloured mirrors. She created mirrors made up of several pieces in contrasting colours. They are held together by an injection moulded rubber frame: its softness allows the fragments to be inserted into the triangular gaps in the thin rubber structure.
VORONOI BULB IP54 TALA
The Voronoi ll bulb is part of the Voronoi series from Tala. The decorative LED filament lamp is made of mouth-blown glass. This lamp uses 3 Watts of power and achieves 120 Lumens at a CRI of 95. It has an IP54 rating.

OBLO BULB IP54 TALA
17 – Tala
The Oblo bulb from the Porcelain series by Tala is a smooth dimmable LED filament lamp made of mouth-blown glass. This lamp uses 6 Watts of power and achieves 540 Lumens at a CRI of 95. It has an IP54 rating.
