Recreation & Restoration By land and sea, Panama City Beach will refresh you
A small boy, perhaps from the interior of North Carolina or the suburbs of Atlanta, disembarks the 200-foot SkyWheel on Panama City Beach, rushes toward his grandparents with his eyes wide open and his arms outstretched, and fairly shouts, “I SAW A LOT OF WATER.” The child has gained a new appreciation for the vastness of the Gulf of Mexico. To him, it appears infinite. The boy’s experience aboard the giant Ferris wheel was for him like that trip aboard a Blue Origin spacecraft was for William Shatner. He’s got a new perspective on the world and the Gulf has made upon him an impression that will prove indelible. Our fascination with the Gulf and her beaches is undying. Her rhythms are our rhythms. It should be little wonder then that Gulf waters were once believed to have healing qualities capable of curing most ills. Still, we turn to the Gulf for restoration in addition to recreation. Try to hold your third-quarter financials in your mind while riding an emerald wave toward white sand. You won’t be able to do it.

A vacation on Panama City Beach is a great refresher course, and we’re glad you’re here. We’ve evolved over the years. Decades ago, condos began to displace cottages and mom-and-pop motels. Anderson’s Restaurant while also exploring all that is new between Camp Helen and St. Andrews State Park. Just don’t get so busy that you fail to connect with the Gulf. It transmits a special energy that you will carry with you all the way back home.
