WEEK 3 READING: LEGER, LE CORBUSIER AND PURISM
Question 1: What is Pictorial Space according to Le Corbusier? (Maximum 100 words) Le Corbusier’s view about the Pictorial Space is that “Picturial sapce cannot be entered or circulated through; it is irremediably space viwed from teh distance, and therefore eternally resigned to frontality .“ As the pictorial space is an art of illusionary space, the combination of the rigid frontality and the distance can make the space of the painting closer to the real life.
Question 2: The Flatness of Le Corbusier’s painting’s are attributable to two properties. What are they? And what are these pitted against?(Maximum 100 words) The Flatness of Le Corbusier’s painting are contributed to pure extension which be thought as every object and the continuity of edge. Le Cobusier used to insisit on adding white on his pigment instead of using black which enhance the continuous skin of paint. THese two properties are pitting against the concept of the tecture and colour.

COMBINED MARIO’S WORLD
This Marioj world include the depth and height of the space, which also added some objects like the river in order to make the world to be vivid.

WEEK 4 READING: AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION Complete your reading before attempting these questions:
Question 1: Explain the difference between Pictoral (in this case perspectival) space and Projection? (Maximum 100 words) Prospective are more pictorial, scientific and generalization. And the key difference between the perspectival space and projection is about the vanish points, the vanish points of the projection located at the infinity which can transfer abstract information. On the contrary, within the pictoral space, perspective can be used to create more detailed objects.
Question 2: Where did Axonometric projection first arise, and why? (Maximum 100 words) Axonometric projection arised for the military purpose, measuring the three-dimensional trajectories of artillery projectiles. The reason is that when the measurability, prediction, and verifiability questiones occurs, parallel projection appears. And then axonometric drawing was taught in engineering schools for industrialization and mechanization.

ILLUSTRATED MARIO’S NEW WORLD
Original theme of the Mario world have been kept by using the similar colourS. Different colours used on the different surface of the cube in order to show the dimension of the space. Blue on both the underground and first level makes the world be more logical, because the river has to ow from the higher place to the lower place.

APPENDIX
Setting two Mario scene 45 degree on the desk and using T square, masking type, pencil, ruler and ruber to create the three-dimensional mario world.
One of the drafts to create a special underground of the Mario World, trying to put the Mario world on the desk which makes it feels like a tiny fairy tale world.
Choosing the proper color of the Mario World, in order to keep it fancy and meanwhile have the sense of the space.
