MILT® 4 by Medi-Dose — Powerfully Easy Software for Unit Dose and Bar Code Labeling
Reduce labor and improve workflow by implementing bulk pre-pack equipment for your high moving generics. Three levels of equipment are available — AutoFiller, AutoTrans Shuttle, and AutoTrans Conveyor. Rx Systems’ motorized AutoSealer is the fastest automated sealer in the marketplace, providing a three-second seal. The newest version, Autosealer 1002, can seal single-dose (1/2" paddle) or multi-dose (3/4" paddle) products without any conversion. Add the AutoFiller and you have the most affordable automation for bulk pre-packing pill cards with filling/sealing capacity up to 280 pill cards per hour using one operator. The AutoFiller is designed for pharmacies servicing 500-1,000 residents, and pre-packing a two-week supply of your top 20-50 generics. Batch filling a minimum of 50 pill cards or more is ideal. The AutoTrans is available in two platforms — Shuttle (AXS) and Conveyor (AXC). Both units can package traditional pill cards or unit dose. The AXS has a manual filler/sealer station that shuttles between the two with a loading and inspection station in between. Max throughput is 350 pill cards filled and sealed per hour, and is ideal for pharmacies servicing 700-2,000 residents. The linear high-speed AXC peaks at 600+ cards per hour, and is the only unit on the market that also applies the pre-pack label vs. doing so in a separate post-production step.
Medi-Dose, Inc.’s MILT® 4 software provides complete medication identification and barcoding capabilities for all your labeling needs ... solids, liquids, syringes, ampules, IV’s, and equipment. 1-D, 2-D, and multi-part bar codes are supported so lot numbers, NDC’s, and expiration dates can be included. You can also construct your own bar codes tailored for your BPOC/BCMA systems. Flexible formatting (different colors, fonts, even Tall-Man Lettering), laser and thermal printing capabilities, and customized workflow for your facility are all available through the program. The software maintains complete packaging logs and contains both a built-in upgradeable NDC database and a listing of those medications noted on the CDC NIOSH list for Hazardous Meds (calling attention to those drugs requiring special handling). Medi-Dose/EPS® unit dose systems are efficient and inexpensive for in-house packaging and distribution of solid oral medication. Medi-Dose provides tamper-evidence, ultraviolet inhibitance, and moisture protection. No glass, metal, or formal training is required. Medi-Cup® PLUS blisters (blue and green) provide one-year beyond-use dating! 15 different styles of blisters ... including new MULTI-PURPOSE and JUMBO ones for multiple meds, large tablets or capsules, MINI blisters designed for saving space in medication bins, and OVAL blisters for a variety of dispensing cabinets.
