Bayside High School Key Club Newsletter (October 2018 Edition)

My experience at “It’s My Park Day” was lit. A lot of key clubbers went and we dug holes to plant a type of flower called the daffodil. In addition, we cleaned up the park by picking up garbage. Although it may sounds laborious and boring, it was actually easy and excessively fun, because we worked together as a group while talking about how the event added to our boring lives. I met had ‘some’ friends, and I say that not because we didn’t socialize, but because I knew almost everybody there. This event was a great way to meet new friends from outside of the school. I was glad I got the chance to participate in this event instead of spending my day at home staring into space for 24 hours. -Lingxiao Lin, member
