Paula & Gabi Sweet Design to open store in Miami MIAMI (Sept. 13, 2016) – Paula & Gabi Sweet Design will open the first Brazilian candy store in Sunny Isles, Florida. At the store opening, every customer will be welcomed to purchase and taste typical Brazilian candies. The event will take place on Nov. 26, 2016, from 2-6 p.m. at 2128 NE 123rd St., North Miami, FL 33181. At the launch, the owner, Gabriela Francini, will give a 10 percent discount to the first 10 customers. As courtesy, free samples of candies, such as “brigadeiro” and cakes, will be offered to clients along with Nespresso coffee. “I am very excited about the store opening,” said Francini. “A Brazilian candy store will make it possible for Brazilians who live abroad to experience a part of their culture, even far away from their country, and also allow Americans to savor Brazilian culture as well.” The handmade cakes and sweets, including Brazilian deserts, such as “pão de mel” and the traditional chocolate “brigadeiro,” will be for sale. More unique flavors of “brigadeiro,” such as churros, crème brulee, Oreo, almond and Nutella, will also be available. All the chocolate sweets are made form Belgian chocolate and the store will also sell truffled bonbons. The “brigadeiro” candy will cost $1,80 - $5 per piece. Chocolate boxes with 10 candies will cost $25, while with 25 pieces of candy will cost $60. Cakes will also be for sale, prices ranging from $50 up to $100 for decorated cakes. The event is open to the public and free of admission. Paula & Gabi Sweet Design welcomes anyone who loves sweets!
