Architecture in Context: City, Spaces, and UrbanHelenaDesignMott
The concept behind my design comes from the proportions found in the facade of the Itchurch.isthe main building you can see at the center of the piazza. The size of the ground floor opening and the rectangular space corresponding directly above the door possess similar proportions. The facade is also three dimensional, with certain details settling further back or protruding forward from the surface. My design will represent the rectangular proportions in the church, as well as a three dimensional effect in order to connect to the context of the site.
