7 DEADLY SINS The map represents the keyword ‘desire’ in relation with 3 of the 7 deadly sins that clearly express a desire in a person. The method basically consists in the identification of buildings that persuade the person to commit a sin. For lust, the map shows pub and nightclubs; sloth as hotels and parks and vanity as beauty salons.

DESIRE

Although the mapping method was simple, there are limitations such as the subjectivity of mapping some other sins, such as wrath, for instance. In addition to that, the map could become visually busy and hard to understand: that is why the background is black and the colours are contrasting.

RESTAURANTS The Global aspect in the map aim to represent the multiculturalism notably presented in Melbourne.

The method of mapping consisted in the identiďŹ cation of all the foreign cosines in the Elizabeth St Transect separated by continents. The map also aimed to show if there is a relation between the crowd density and the restaurants.

GLOBAL

Although the map could represent some limitations, such as the huge range of different restaurants in Melbourne Central, for example, it clearly shows the huge inuence of Asian and European cultures. The map just considers the main countries in each continent.
