Dear Messengers of Reconciliation Welcome to the College for Officer Training! We are so blessed to know that you have answered God’s calling on your life. These are important days which God has orchestrated for you in which to learn, grow and be enriched for service and ministry through The Salvation Army. It is very specifically a time of training. We challenge you, therefore, to be open to God’s voice and leading. Be listeners. Be learners. Be doers. But most importantly, be clay in the Master’s hands, always growing and maturing in Him. As a Messenger of Reconciliation you wear the name of one who may be called to be instrumental in the reconciling of human connections, family relationships, community unity or racial accord. Your chief role of reconciliation, however, will be that of messengers who draw others back to their right relationship with God.
